Keep in mind, this is my opinion and I dont really min-max. If you can get your hands on Strawberries, it's good for spring, otherwise Potatos are really good, but spring is tricky. Summer is Blueberries, wheat, corn, hot pepper and hops. Fall is cranberries, wheat, corn, eggplant, grapes, broccoli. and pumpkins (if you can afford a large amount).

Yeah egg quality doesn't matter. Same thing as cheese, only difference is small to large milk

Early on energy is a particularly important resource and the upgraded tools help you manage it. But you'll definitely want a coop as well (if it's your first farm and you're doing community center)

If you have grass (growing, not static) outside and open the coop door, you don’t have to worry about feeding them with hay every day. Plus it boosts the friendship points with animals if they eat outside (you can also put like lightning rods, furniture, etc outside on parts of the grass so the animals don’t eat it and let the grass regrow in those areas)
