yes, if the crop is watered. crop growth can be a bit confusing, so it helps to think about "x days" as "x nights passing"

Are you talking about the ice region? The enemies are annoying if you haven't gotten past a basic sword, and you really want to be at a copper pick to keep going

for example, starfruit takes 13 days to grow. this means it requires 13 nights to pass, so it'll be ready on the 14th if planted on the 1st
