I would try to have little quests set up for yourself! Like get a chicken or decorate your house. Stardew is all about going at your own pace and exploring the game. Your going to gift bad gifts and struggle with certain things but if it still persists there are challenges you can do like "never leave the farm"

mushroom is better overall money but requires checking every day [1.6] ||2 days|| and comes with a free [1.6] ||dehydrator||

Don't fret if you accidentally sell it. There's plenty of other opportunities to get another but may take a bit. If you would like ancient fruit to be your main source of income for a bit and turn them into wine. Putting them in the ||greenhouse, which you achieve from completing a room in the cc|| since they don't ever disappear once harvested is a great source of income

I'd say that day 2 you should just water crops and then go straight to fishing, then eat the fish and continue to fish, so spring onions aren't that needed
