off the top of my head there's just one that lasts spring - fall and it continues to grow after harvesting. It's called an Ancient Seed and you get it from mining or treasure from fishing.

also if you can craft lightning rods get those set up. lightning storms are most common in summer (I think?) and you get batteries from your lightning rods during storms (and also the rods prevent the lightning from striking your stuff)

Don't worry about it! Just stick with it and soon it'll be a breeze and you'll fall in love with it! Almost everyone finds finding in sdv quite challenging at first but you get a lot better with practice and muscle memory, plus the in-game progression (fishing skill level, better rods and tackles) will make it much easier !
