by farming, foraging and mining i am getting the cc bundles as well
tool upgrades become necessary as you go deeper in the mines
you interract with npcs all the time and i gift them things they like every now and then
i need the g so i do quests if its douable
i get many new gems from mining i always give the first one i find to gunther to get seeds and etc from him
while mining i kill monsters so the adventurer's guild quests go up passively
doing all this and more also increases my skill meters

also i noticed that cauliflowers and melons sell for a lot more g than the other ones

u can git gud by..

• getting food buffs (like spicy eels/crab cakes, i prefer crab cakes since they last the whole day)
• getting good heals (salads/gold cheese/sashimi (if you own crab pots and if the other options aren't to your liking, worst out of them all), i prefer salads since they can be bought infinitely)
• having a good weapon, use either the obsidian edge or the lava katana ||which can be bought after completing the mines, adventurer's guild|| if ||galaxy sword|| is out of your reach.
• getting as many bombs as you can, usually around 100 bombs (or 50-75 if broke), 50 megabombs (25 if you're broke). You can also use explosive ammo too, but it's pretty hard to use on mobile.
• staircases, as many as you can again. (but if you're ||doing the level 100 sc quest, using more than 10 can cause mr qi to become annoyed||, it's only flavor text, although if you want praise...)

Cranberries are good IF you have enough money to actually fill your designated plot for crops.
Otherwise Pumpkins are better, since you can buy more than twice as many seeds. Pumpkins are better if you're using any kind of fertilizer.

My best guess is about 2 months after 1.6.9 releases for Steam, unless you're on a Nintendo switch then it will take longer
