Multiplayer PC 1.6 Combat is unplayable. Is this fixable? I drop a bomb, and it takes like a consideribly long time after the flash of the bomb, for the rocks to break. And more importent, when I hit the flying fish, they dont knock back. It's fine for the host, but for me, it's not playable. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You can increase the chances with fertilizer and higher farming level, but not really guarantee

You can also kinda force it. You can harvest a crop and if it's not gold quality reset the day and harvest it tomorrow. Quality changes in that tile when the day changes

The fruit/veg thing matters more for kegs (and, if you're on v1.6, ||dehydrators||)

Kegs make wine out of fruit (hot pepper wine????) and juice out of vegetables unless that vegetable would produce a special keg product (wheat to beer, hops to pale ale, coffee bean to coffee, tea leaves to green tea). Juice is only marginally better than pickles... and sometimes actually worse.

For the v1.6 thing, ||Dehydrators cannot use vegetables at all.||

If you're on v1.6 and have completed the Crafts Room bundles, ||the Quarry has coal nodes that spawn periodically||. The Miner skill increases their yield, too.

Otherwise, head to 40-70 in the mines and look for the dark bouncy hairballs, the Dust Spirits. These have a medium-high chance to drop coal when slain, and they spawn in small groups

You can also feed wood into a Charcoal Kiln to produce coal. 10 wood per 1 coal.
If you're still on year 1, Robin sells wood for 10G apiece, so a coal produced this way has an effective purchase value of 100G, which I think is cheaper than buying it from Clint

(In Y2+, the prices for raw wood and stone rise to 5x)

(Clint raises prices too, but not as extreme)

I like to buy several 999stacks of wood and stone right before the end of the first winter

I tend not to have a plan for how much to buy, but I still tend to go through it faster than I collect more

The poppy is a summer flower, and the sushi is a maki roll, you can get the recipe from gus at teh stardrop saloon ! The green thing is a fiddlehead fern, I don't remember exactly how to get them but I know they're a foragable
