Not worth selling base resources like wood, it's used in so much stuff and sells for so little. You dont need to rely on fishing, you can just make money from other stuff

I just farmed the multi-items from each season and made bank pretty quickly. Potatoes in the spring, blueberries in the summer, cranberries in the fall. In the winter, I rampaged through the mines and got deeper so I had plenty of supplies going into spring.
