What is generally considered better out of the options I get at Forging Level 5? I'm aware, per the wiki, this will also affect the level 10 decision, right? Here's the answer I was going to give you:

I can't speak from experience, but given you won't be buying seeds during winter, it might not be a bad idea. The only reservation I would make (again, not knowing from experience) is that you'll probably want some cash for the bring seeds and particularly the egg festival. Strawberries, in particular, are pretty profitable even if you don't have a seed maker, so it might be better to finish that bundle at the end of spring after you've sold strawberries, depending on how much money you think you can make during the winter.

Yeah, luck has no bearing on geode contents, which are predetermined by seed. In every seed there is coded a VERY long list of drops for each geode type and that list advances for ALL types each time a geode is cracked open.
You can change the contents for some geodes by opening others first. Clint can be "exploited" in this way. Say you need something you can only get from Omni geodes. You have Clint open all that you have, say 10, and you don't get it. You can reset the day and then have him open, say, 10 magma geodes, and THEN open the omnis and you will get 10 different drops for the omnis because the lists for ALL geodes got advanced by 10 when you opened the magmas first.

Matter of preference. Some people like the hammer to exploit its special move. Some like the sword for its speed. I'm a sword man.

I like using hammer bc of its damage and range on the special move, but sometimes when im in despair i need to attack faster, and the hammer doesnt do this, that made me think a bit about this

I take less damage when using a sword because the speed of the weapon keeps enemies at bay. But it all comes down to preference and playstyle.

You'll have no money to buy seeds with if you spend it all on the vault. Starfruit is great, but you really need kegs to turn it into wine to maximize the benefits. At this point I'd just settle for blueberries and melons and do starfruit next year. Or take your profits from blueberries, complete the vault bundle, and buy some starfruit mid-month, when you'll get one harvest at least.

Yes of course. Buying the vault unlocks ||skull cavern||, which means iridium. Obviously you’re going to make iridium tools, but 1 iridium bar sells for 1000g, so if you get a lot of iridium every day and turn it into bars, you’ll be making a lot of money for whatver else you may need to purchase.

You sell iridium you get paid 1000 g ONCE. You use that iridium to make a crystalarium and dupe diamonds you make 750 every five days ... FOREVER.
Selling iridium is a waste.
