As far as actually fishing goes, Stop trying to chase them (with the green bar), ease into following them around, and anticipate them to come back at some point. If they're near the top of the bar, ease yuor green bar up so just the top of the green bar is touching them, and vise versa for if they're on the bottom.

The most likely reason you're going to lose a Legendary fish is because you spent most of the time trying to quickly chase after them, and they just keep juking you.

Well, general gameplay goals can help. Finishing the community center (or joja on your first play through since it’s easier) will help you progress into fun late game content. Each skill can represent an area of interest you can work on expanding, like farming, mining, or combat. It’s always fun for me to work towards a lot of kegs or animal machines to make more money. Relationships and eventually marriage can also be fun gameplay goals.

If you are more into speedrunning or collections, you can focus on finishing the museum, beating the arcade games, getting all of the items in a collection, etc

I love using sheds as dedicated storage buildings, color coding chests in relation to their contents, and even placing signs with a chest specific item behind each chest (ex. A sign with an amethyst for ores and minerals behind a purple chest)

No there's nothing in controls but the fishing bar increase with level and there will be new fishing rods with perks in higher levels

Buy the fishing rod from Willy. It gives you a fishing green bar of level 5, and only lets you catch easier fish.

The only button needed for fishing is Left Click.

Practice rhythmic clicking/holding to keep your green bar from flying all over the place.

Well the Steamapps folder doesn't usually have save files for stardew.

Whenever I needed it i just go to stardew checkup and use that file directive

I'm not sure why windows thinks getting to the Roaming folder via 'browsing' through Run is worth hiding files for, as opposed to manually getting there.

Fish ponds dont make too much money sadly, they're an ok source of income on the side,but definetly nothing special. The best way early game while waiting on crops really is fishing tbh

Gold cheese is gold quality cheese. You first have to get a barn and cows, and they'll give you milk. Put their milk in a cheese press and you'll get cheese. After you have some good friendship with your cows, they'll start giving you large milk which turns into gold quality cheese
