Well I'd suggest trying to get to at least floor 80 in the mines then. You'll unlock gold, which is needed for the next sprinkler tier, and a good source of fiber

Other than tea saplings, fishing is a great way.
If you set up a coop on time that will serve as passive income as long as you get them a heater and keep them fed.
Winter serves less as a cash making season and more of a foraging/secrets/friendship/mining season
