your crops are going to get hit by lightning. This is mostly inevitable, but if you can grind up to level 6 foraging, you'll get a recipe for Lightning Rod that can divert lightning during thunderstorms

go cut some trees, and if you need Refined Quartz, try (1) throwing Broken CD or Broken Glasses into a Recycling Machine from Fishing level 4, or (2) throwing Quartz into a furnace
