Foraging on saturdays. Forageables spawn every day and they stack up, until on sunday they respawn, so if you forage on saturdays, you can pick up the forageables that have spawned throughout the entire week

And of course you can always craft and plant wild seeds for more forageables

4 forageables turn into 10 wild seeds, so you can get more and more by planting them

Depending on your experience level with the game, waiting for Quality sprinjlers probably isn't the best idea. Basics are very quick and cheap to make. Even a modest stack of 15-20 of them will greatly aid in early game struggles.
