The message is something like 'spreading weeds has caused damage to your farm'. The weeds/stones/sticks around the farm can spread, and when they do so into player made objects, it destroys them.

This message can pop up even if it hits randomly Hoe'd tiles (so a spot left behind from digging worms), so if you don't actually notice anything wrong, this was likely the caused

definitely swap one for a sheep! wool is fun in the late game and at iridium level it's good profit

pigs are the best money after you craft an oil maker

Your farming level affects the quality of your crops I think. And also you should use good fertiliser
