Yes they are a very good investment. You wont be able to do that yet tho but id still start out by investing in animals and slowly earn more through whatever youve done to get 14k. Its important to have a barn or coop anyway for the cc. If youd like to, and you like farming, maybe buy whatevers the most profitable crop of the season with all the 14k and earn more though it depends if you have sprinklers....its up to you but you should basically invest in something that will give a return.

neither is necessary, it depends on your personal preference. The fruit cave is a bit more powerful from the point of view of in-game objectives and stars cute bats, the mushroom cave is reliable and gives you mushrooms year round
