Yeah losing 4 levels of progress hurts. Also the deeper you go the more money you'll make from mine trips. Don't be afraid to sell gold bars if you need the extra push to complete a project

1. Forageables
2. Crops
3. Crafting resources
4. Tools and gifts for NPCs

Later on I will usually build a deluxe shed filled with chests for more detailed organizing
