Only sell your aged wine before it reaches iridium quality if you really need the money now. It gains the same amount of profit increase per day from silver up through iridium, so you don't make any more money taking it out early and putting in more to age.
That being said, there comes a point in the game where you can't age everything, so don't even try. Just sell the bulk of your wine at regular quality.
Aging wine is kind of overrated, imho. There's a reason I only aged cheese in my current save.

Aging wine can still be a fun part of the game, and takes very little effort. So age away. Just don't let your wine backlog waiting to age, because in most saves you can make a LOT more wine than you can ever age, due to making it taking only a week and aging it taking two months.

Well, personally if I really want to reach great depths in ||Skull Cavern|| then what I do is stockpile food items, explosives and use the lucky drop Sword I have.

If you rely on the lucky dropped weapon, you have to move carefully against monsters.

Obsidian Edge sucks. Lava Katana is a lot better than Obsidian Edge considering it does almost twice the minimum damage and doesn't have a speed penalty. But if you can't afford the 25K, you can go with the Steel Falchion for 9K. It's got nearly identical damage to OE, but has a +4 speed bonus.

I keep the small ones for cooking and turn the large ones into mayo. With milk and eggs, it's the size that matters, not he quality. Large milk and large eggs will give you gold star cheese and mayo. Smalls will give regular. So I save all the smalls for cooking.

Doesn't need to be replanted. A lot of people prefer it because it is a lot easier. You get a harvest every week without needing to worry about a high level speed-gro, and that one week growing time coincides perfectly with the keg's one week processing time, so you can do it on a schedule, like Mondays for harvesting, Tuesdays for winemaking, making it really easy to keep track of.

You might be able to change them in settings to the classic WASD if that’s not the ones already set
