def recommend fishing, you can look in the wiki or search up fish not to/to sell or you can sell ones that you have multiple of (if ur a hoarder like me...)

people also like to keep their fish until their fishing level is 5 because you get more money after selling the fish (im 70% sure of this)

Those locations are what I judge to be the most profitable during each season, i.e. you make the most money fishing there, because the fish are the most valuable. Though, if you read down, you'll find other people who judge differently

What Soly posted sounds about right. There's a utility which shows you the probabilities of hooking everything for a given body of water. Using that utility, you can compute the expected gold for each time you cast your line, assuming all fish are reasonably catchable with your current fishing level.

Soly's list is consistent with what I've computed using that utility tool
