@subtle wing go on a lucky day (check the tv). Bring a stack of bombs, 70+, or slingshot and explosive ammo. Bring a stack of food (a lot of people do cheese, I like sashimi), and some spicy eel for more luck. Don't spend a lot of time on the first ~40 levels. Just bomb and look for holes, or the ladder. After that iridium will appear more often if you need it. But you can bomb your way down to lv100 by 2pm.

Alternately, get a lot of jade to trade for staircases

Also you can just cheese the mystic nodes to always get a shard, because of the way the game advances node loot daily if you mine it and don’t get a shard just reset the day and go again the next day, so on and so forth until you get your shard

Every monster on certain tiles would always drop the same loot, the same monsters and rocks would spawn on every floor, etc.

i guess your on the first year so focus on getting that coop upgrade and then a barn they are pretty useful
