So you want to buy the plants in the beginning of the season the first few days. The seeds say how long they take to grow. Plant and harvest after that time. But if you are on a later date in the season the plant won’t be able to grow fully before you can pick it (and that’s a waste of money)

it’s not, the things that count for foraging skills are chopping down trees and picking stuff up from the ground

items from bushes and grass and fiber don’t give foraging xp
