Don't try to clear out your entire farm all the time, clear out a small patch in the first few days then plant your parsnips that are given and take of them, then take a tour around the village and the other parts of the map, speak to everyone. Once you unlock the fishing rod start fishing since that's a great way to get money. And constantly buy new seeds from Pierre and plant them (as you get money). And don't forget to go mining once in a while or as often as you like!

Technically, there is no problem with skipping days. The days will continue to go on for as long as you play, so you can skip if you’d like. That said, some people just don’t like to skip days.

they grow pretty late in the year and by the time you need to plant them you def have the disposable income for them
