question: when i left shift my character instead of moving faster is moving slower, am i doing something wrong?

I think it's cause you toggle walk instead of run if you have 'auto run' turned on in options

essentially you switch from run to walk by clicking shift

the setting is there so that you don't have to click shift all the time is my guess

if you want to be faster in game, I recommend getting your hands on coffee

you can either buy it (expensive at first) or plant a bean, get more and plant more, stack them and put them in kegs once you unlock those (farming 8 recipe iirc)

Are you playing mobile by chance? There is a bug where random items cannot be interacted with; zooming in & out can fix the item.
