When you clear grass for hay, leave tufts of grass here and there so it will regrow and spread throughout the year.

Don't cut it all down.

Yeah i had a few spots handing out but their just not growing.

Clear out the weeds, rocks and other debris to give the grass more chance to spread.

I think if you fence off some it will grow and the animals can’t eat it all

You can also put fences on top of grass and it will spread from there and the animals can't eat it. Also works with lightning rods.

But all-in-all, I just accept that I'll have to buy grass starters if I want my animals to eat grass three months out of the year.

It's a matter of how much space you want to dedicate to animal pens.

I gave them considerable space, and they'd still eat it faster than it could regrow.

I blocked him in and just feed them with the maxed out coups

Grass makes animals happy and will elevate their mood to maximum.
They also get friendship points from eating grass. In fact, the amount of points they gain from eating grass is more than the points they lose from not petting them. So once you have them maxed out at 5 hearts, any day they can eat grass is a day you don't have to pet them. Grass is like an organic ||auto-petter.||

if you check the weather and it says it will be raining tomorrow you should water your crops and then go to get the watering can upgraded as you will get it back the day after it rains meaning that your crops will have been watered while it is being upgraded

The thing with blueberries or hops is that you need many more jars or kegs to process them all, since you get so many crops

When these calculators say hops are better for kegs, they just assume that you got enough kegs to process all of your hops immediately

But every 12 days you make juice, you are getting 3 batches for a total of 2160, while in the same 12 days you can make four batches of pickles for 2760.
Add to this fact that all veggies except pumpkins and red cabbage are actually worth less as juice than pickles, and this is why I say you should never make juice.

My best advice to new players is to watch the TV every morning before you leave the house. It will give you game tips and recipes.
