if you put down a crop that will die in the season transition (parsnips in spring, coffee beans in summer) then they'll wilt, but the crop tile will stay tilled and watered by the sprinkers, so it cuts out 70% of the work you need to do for a new season

I recommend putting some time into the mines, getting ores and coal is very much needed for crafting and upgrading tools, but it seems you’re early game so don’t worry too much, you’ll get there! (Don’t worry about getting better straight away, enjoy the game for what it is )

the bat cave has exactly one redeeming feature - it has a high probability of giving you a fruit tree fruit, so you can complete specifically the Greenhouse bundles without buying a fruit tree sapling. (Note: So does the Travelling Cart, just visit that every day.)

If you want to actually complete the CC, you need specifically three apples and one pomegranate. Praying for bat cave to give you all of those is an exercise in futility. You'll need to plant an apple tree anyway.

Shroom cave currently generates enough revenue to put down an apple tree after 10 days.
