lategame? It's automatically better tbh. Fishing isn't your main money maker late game, so fisher + angler are mediocre lategame (still god tier early on but that's what profession changing is for). Being able to automate crab pots would make them instantly god tier - especially since crab pots sit in the water and therefore take up zero space, and you don't even need to buy bait, just use the baitless pots profession.

check on your crab pot chest once per season or so and just earn lots of money for doing literally nothing
