I surrounded my coop and barn each by a pen out of fences and a gate to prevent the animals from wandering around on my entire farm.
But sometimes, if they are really close to the gate i´m unable to keep them in while passing the gate, because interacting with them occurs instead of closing the gate...
In real there is another way to keep animals in a pen: in the gap between the fences the dig a pit and putting a thin-edged metal-grid on top of it.
For the flat and strong shoe soles of the farmer, this is no problem to work on, bur for the bare feet of the animals it is a pain, so they don´t walk over it and stay in the pen.
Is there something similar, to replace the gate with, here (player can walk on, but no animals)?

There is a type of fertilizer that makes your soil have a chance to remain watered when the day starts, but it's kind of bad for most of the game ||The third and final type is a 100% chance, the others are 33% and 66%||

I think most of the fertilizers are kinda wack. Retaining soil would be useful if it wasn't for sprinklers existing and it being a random chance each day instead of "You only have to water once every other day" or something, and it doesn't do anything to the actual crop. Speed-Gro makes the crop grow faster, but it also doesn't affect the quality of the crop or make crops REgrow faster, and fertilizer is the only one that affects the quality, but not the watering or crop growth.
