tbh it’s really easy to get 1st place even without a super high score

I generally just throw iridium or cool looking stuff and I get first place without even checking score

ANYWAY there are like eight categories or so and you get points for each different one, up to a maximum of six categories... or something like that. So before you hit that cap, you want to diversify in item types. But after the cap, you can just repeat items and it doesn't matter.

Note, this means that if your gold quality other item is the same category as the irid item, it's probably better to double up
