I would say plant a tree farm in the train station and setup a small section with tappers once unlocked. Dont become sole focused on one aspect of the game as there are so many. Never upgrade watering can unless the next day is rainy. Always watch the telivision for living on the land and cooking show and weather and luck. Luck mostly just affects mines so on gl days go mining, particularly if its raining. Rainy days are best as you dont need to water your crops. Otherwise water your crops everyday and setup scarecrow asap. Fishing is hugely beneficial money wise but dont disregard foraging as that skill gives handy rewards and stuff you get is a good energy boost. Always fish when not a gl day when it rains in the river as catfish comes out in spring then and sells for a lot
