• Never use daggers. If you want that kind of pain in combat just download Dark Souls or smth.

• Be patient with their approach. Take note of certain enemies like bugs and serpents, timing against them is crucial.

Yeah, but later on the club's special attack will be pretty useful for either knocking away surrounding enemies or one-shotting enemies that get caught on walls or rocks by the knockback.
