MoonMisadventures_BiggerBackpackPatch 1.0.0 because it requires mods which aren't installed (spacechase0.MoonMisadventures). managed to get rid of the other errors but still getting this?

fixed, anyone else having issues with smapi showing disabled or removed mods, go through your mods folder and delete any folders for mods you dont have in your enabled list and it will stop flagging you with messages

if so how does it work
at a very high level, you add a new tilesheet for hair, and then data for that hair into a specific data file, all with Content Patcher
this makes it so that you can select the hair as normal via the startup menu or the wizard
it will appear after all the vanilla hairs
In json asset, your friend didn't have [JA] artisanal soda maker. Idk if that cause your problem
Just double-check again after you both download any mods. Or one of you download the mods and archive then semd to the other so you'll get the exact same mod

There are some mods that only need to be installed by host and some that needs to be on both host and client. Also check for the version, must be the same version
We've always had the same amount of mods before though. We do all have the same versions

hiii guysssss. are any of you familiar with this bug? i have stardew valley expanded and was using adventurers guild expanded but i cant get into the mine now. and there are two adventurers guilds now. the original and a second thats a new map which the original is blocking half of the path to. i deleted adventurers guild expanded but its still there :0

Maybe when you extract a zip, you choose both extract here and and extract to "whatever the name of the zip" name folder so you have both folder
Did you unzip them twice or something. 
Anyway, you'd have to nitpick and delete the extra copies or honestly just delete them all and start fresh.
Next time choose "Extract Here" instead. ^^

you'll need to figure out who did that by removing mods until those errors go away
all he did was update CP, smapi and npc map locations so it had to have been 1 of them

That's rar file, similar to zip. Should a be folder inside, extract it and move the extracted folder to Mods folder (if it is not xnb mod)
You have to right click that file, choose open with, and choose winrar (or something else). Idk why rar opened with internet explorer on your computer

If you right click the rar/zip file and choose extract here, whatever file inside the rar/zip will be extracted to the same folder as the rar/zip place

ok the biggest problems have been solved with the smapi update
still having issues with "even more recipes" mod--the log says it doesn't have manifest.json files
Reinstall the mod cause it is missing the file mentioned

Open your Mods folder (the place you install the mod, inside game directory), and delete folder with similar name but has a lot of number. It fixes error about multiple copies
For PPJA, i kinda remember people has problem with that mod. Just wait for someone that might have solution for that

basically they are replacements of game files rather than add on mods
If the mod is kinda big, sometimes it impacts load time. But might be causing you lag too

We don't know how potato your pc are but if a mod is causing lag, fps drop, or long load time, consider to disable or uninstall if necessary
you can use no-clip mode mod for it (and the reset terrain features mod to fix many things automatically if you changed maps mid-save)
If I want to mix and match visual mods and the generic mod settings doesn't give me what I want, can I just delete the pngs of the visual mod file or will it break entirely?

When two mods both edit dialogue or images, whichever mod loads last "wins" and is the one you see in the game. load order doesn't necessarily work for mix and match. deleting pngs should work though generally

the very first time you create a farm is definitely the worst. depending on what mods you're using as the bot says above, it might take about 5-10 min. I noticed the first load of the day is usually the slowest. subsequent loads are faster. I'm sure there's a reason for that, I'm just now informed to know what it is haha

i havent played stardew valley at all and i would rather play with mods. i have taken a break from stardew valley before and i remember i had issues with my mods and needed help resetting and redownloading my mods to get them to work. i dont know if it was this server or not. but i havent tried launching or changing anything in stardew valley yet as i only just got back into my steam account.

Then, you download the updated SMAPI, unzip it and run the installer.

I don't usually have any issues with lag at all. As I said, it only happens when the in-game time ticks over, and lasts for a split-second, but as it's every 10 in-game minutes, that means it's happening quite a lot. If I pause time, there is absolutely zero lag. I just don't know what would cause that!

Just run the installer for the new version. It'll clear out old versions of SMAPI.
You can overwrite those by installing newer version. So no need to delete those

I don't think this mod is a likely culprit as it's a CP mod of the altar in Pierre's, so don't know why that would impact the in-game time, but worth a shot I guess

no, I tried that. I also rolled back the mods I updated today, and the last thing is to remove the CP mod I added, which is the only new mod I added before this problem started

I just don't understand why the lag disappears when I pause time. If it's a performance issue, something with my PC or the game, why is it linked to in-game time passing?
if I pause time, there is ZERO lag, no matter what I'm doing (I even harvested an entire small field of multi-yield crops and no lag with time paused)

It means your backpack is full. That's why it's not picked up
Maybe it's different quality and your backpack is full
Extra yields from crops, mined rocks, wood, etc. drop on the ground. Don't remember any mod that put those directly into your bag.
Still extra yield will be picked up automatically if the backpack has space
either make sure you have enough space or enough magnetism

did you try stardew foliage redone yet? if you didn't i'd try removing that temporarily, and if that doesn't solve it, put SVE (the content patcher part) as a dependency in μ₯λ―Έμ λ±λ무κ½μ΄ ν λ§μ κ±΄λ¬Όλ€ mod's manifest.json file

that's pretty much all i have based on the log, but you could use lookup anything with EnableTileLookups config option enabled to see what tilesheet the tiles are using and then check what mods are editing or providing the tilesheet

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).

Mod managers are a 50/50 for SDV from what I've seen. May work for a short while before it starts causing issues, may cause errors from the start, or it may not even cause one at all. I've seen one who's had an issue with MO2 here awhile back, though I didn't stick long enough.

Common problem I've been seeing from mod managers is that they're hungry. It likes to eat folders and stuff inside the folders that it isn't supposed to be touched otherwise.

I haven't played in a while, so I had a big list of mods I needed to update. I was annoyed and figured to use a mod manger. I had already had MO2 so I wanted to ask around here if anyone had any experience with it. I only learned about stardrop after I had already reinstalled a bunch for mo2. Not shitting on stardrop, I've never even used it before. And im not about to switch to stardrop now after I've already downloaded a bunch and waited for that 5 sec timer on nexus.
You don't need to redownload with Stardrop, it'll detect what you've got installed already

[SMAPI] - Always Raining in the Valley 1.0.3 because it requires mods which aren't installed (Platonymous.CustomMusic).

You'll see the mod author first, then the mod name second
Also looks like Fashion Sense is missing the hand mirror asset. Redownload the mod

If you open the game with SMAPI, install this mod, and open a pre-existing file, then yes
If you do not open the file, then no
So saves will remain untouched unless you open and save them with mods installed and running
Mods apply to all saves that are opened with them installed, whether they are new or pre-existing

No
You need to install it and then open the game with SMAPI, not just the vanilla game
If you launch StardewValley.exe, you get no mods. StardewModdingAPI.exe, you get mods.
I can't tell if you're trying to avoid having the mod apply to pre-existing saves or you're trying to play it on an existing save
If you tell me which of those I can tailor my instructions to that scenario

You may need to use reset terrain features if there are trees or bushes in the way, but I believe ES does not have that as a big issue

it's a mod which changes the game rendering to be less pixelated, but it also has a side affect on loading times or soemething like that

Game loaded and Save Game List loaded! It almost crashed on loading the save, took a minute, but it made it through. I could play!

And you can disable the sprite stuff in spritemaster while leaving all the optimizations and fixes enabled.

Not just for loading times but also for in game performance.
And if you do have a discrete gpu, you can try to force SDV to use it in the windows graphics settings.

this is an old work-beastie, not a gaming rig in any sense of the word, so there might be no discrete gpu? I can't find anything regarding nvidia or amd in windows task manager, but that may be my lack of tech savvy-ness..
Some workstations will have an workstation dGPU, but you are probably right.

Hi, I'm having trouble with some mods. I just downloaded the Downtown Zuzu mode, and a couple more there. I can't seem to walk to ZuZu but I can walk to the other one. Heyo, does anyone know if it's possible to get multiplayer on mobile? I tried using smapi on mobile, but my game always crashes at the start π
The Android version of the game is quite a bit different from other ports and so needs a custom version of SMAPI. See https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Installing_SMAPI_on_Android for details on getting started.
There is a mod that implements multiplayer on Android but I am not actually confident that it isn't malware or at the least filled with extra ads
