Hi i'm using a heavily modded game
I have a lot of missing sprites including but not limited to: bone fragments, mahogany seeds, cookout kit, fiber seeds, bug steak, monster musk and much much more
seems like most of the missing sprites are from 1.4 and 1.5
my game is updated, and it does include some sprites from these updates

I downloaded NPC map locations to check if he hadn't just vanished from the game, but sure enough, he's back into his little hut in the island :(
This really sucks because Leo's my absolute favorite NPC. I tried some quick fixes I found for a similar problem online, but I guess I must have a different problem because after repairing my save file he's still there

you can just install a new map. your items will be in weird places, so install a NoClip mod too. and maybe use reset terrain feature mod to remove misplaced bushes

hello ive been having an ongoing problem with stardew VERY expanded, it plays perfectly smooth but when starting split screen it not only desyncs slightly on some things like npc positions or whether an npc even shows up, but also on map effects like the winter snow, second player doesn't see any of that. and after 2 to 3 hours of playing it drops to about 5fps and becomes unbearable, it fixes when i restart it. but i never have problems in single player or online multiplayer. if the extra player tries to exit so it goes back to single player, the game hangs and never responds.

see i assumed it may be that but i can take turns on one save of it with my partner and over the course of 18 hours with us playing one character, my ram stays at 4GB steady and never piles up, but when in split screen it starts around 9 and slowly ramps up to taking the full 16, and the problem happens when only mod is smapi enabled. But if the problem is honestly just lack of optimization for split screen with mods then I guess it can't be helped. Thanks anyways friend!

Honestly: I don't recommend running rsv and sve at the same time at all, never mind in multiplayer
And I usually quit to desktop every now and then
we'll start resetting every hour or so then. if it helps though, majority of the lag happens only on our farm, which is immersive farm 2 remastered
everything in my game is running fine, no crashes or compatibility issues but for some reason when I go to buy a chicken it won't let me put it in my coop
Like I hover over it but it won't acknowledge the fact I'm trying to put it in my coop
When I try to paint the coop or move it it works fine but besides that??
Any ideas why this is happening? Most of the mods I have now I've used before with no coop issues

I'm having a couple of issues with the PPJA For DGA mod and can't seem to find an answer anywhere, or at least not one I can understand...
None of the new recipes I bought from Gus or anywhere else are showing up in my cooking screen. Not even as shadows, just not there at all. The loading box thing with all the text isn't saying there are any errors. Modded stuff also isn't showing up in my mail.
and finally and least of a concern, when I harvested my duck plants it gave me empty space labeled as DGA junk.

The latest released version of PPJA (Project Populate Json Assets, a popular mod) is a conversion from JA to DGA, but it has some bugs in it, and the mod author has retired. Sticking with the older JA version is probably your best option.
You can download the JA version from the Old Files section on Nexus, or by downloading the latest versions of the standalone components instead of the megapack (except for Farmer to Florist, where you would need to look under Old Files in the standalone version).

I think expanded adds some forage items.. uhh, i have stuff that adds new trees, crops, but not forage, the forage mod i tried to add wasnt compatible with expanded. the only thing i can think of is expanded but i cant find an exact list of changes. i scoured the better balance mod and it doesn't say anything about changing anything in foraging like that, that i noticed, neither did i see in immersive/change of professions.. hmm i dont think any of my other stuff messes with anything regarding foraging. its annoying to have different qualities cuz i onlyuse it for crafting and the quality doesnt matter for crafting, so i was hoping i could turn it off.
i wonder if theres any way it could be love of cooking

ok so I'm actually not seeing East Scarp in here! I see Downtown Zuzu, WTTD, SVE, even RSV, but no ES.
so there's nothing, like, mechanically wrong. As of Stardew 1.5, the cabin sprites now include mailboxes, so older cabin replacements don't have it. It looks like the cabin replacement you're using just doesn't have a mailbox included in the cabin sprite.
Okay. So basically just click that area everyday and if I have mail it will work, if I don't it give me the reply I received about no mail. Correct? - It's Yellog's Buildings that he reposted, but I don't think they've been updated.
I believe that the little mail icon will still show up, just there won't be a mailbox

Usage
Install Node.js.
Extract the zip file.
Place the XNB mod in the XNB folder. It MUST be ordered in where it would go in the content folder.
Run the script.
Put the contents of the CP folder into a folder in your Mods folder with your own manifest.json```

oh. I'm using windows and smapi. When using the mod stardew valley expanded as well as the DCburgers portrait mod (portraite version) as well as the stardew valley expanded compatible ones every portrait seems to work except for marlons, his is the literal only portrait not working. Is there maybe a way to change this in the game files themselves?

Portrait mods that are nonstandard sizes are absolutely impossible except through a specific framework to handle them
What do you see for Marlon instead of the portrait? The game defaults? Does the DC Burgers mod mention SVE compat? Because SVE changes several NPCs, including Marlon
Unless there's some issue with the portraits mod (my guess is no, as it's quite popular and I assume any issues would have been reported), SVE would need to be consulted to see what they've changed and how to fix it

You can try renaming the portraiture file to MarlonFay

(i'd recommend Firefox in general, because it does a bunch of safety stuff Chrome doesn't do, plus it can import history and stuff from other browsers, plus it isn't planning to break compatibility with adblockers next year, but if what happened in the log ended off with a repeating error you can open the smapi log in notepad and trim the end to have fewer repetitions)

That online sprite sheet cutter sometimes offsets your hair... by one pixel.

It's not dramatic if you don't update your mods (as long as there are no issues), but SVE probably set a specific version of CP / SMAPI as requirement and you were a bit behind. Hence why I would update those two regularly. ๐

If you use mod that replace game file, it is xnb mod type. It's way before smapi and you should be careful and back up the file that would be overwritten

should know the mod you installed called "seasonal" would add seasonal petals onto your tiles
they are displayed in the images before you install it

So you mean get warning is when you wanna dowanload smapi. It's fine
But when you install smapi, you might need to make exception to sdv flder on your antivirus setting
It isn't a virus. The file will be classed as dangerous because the file is new and dosen't have many downloads.
You can install an older version of SMAPi and you wont get that warning on your browser.

the new version has some optimization and fixes so not really no. If you're worried you can just install version SMAPI 3.14.7
no, the save file is a giant xml file and is kind of annoying to edit no matter what
(honestly, depending on what you want to edit, installing cjb is always easier)
but usually if you have notepad you can just open it and then search for what you want to edit

yep, it just looked like you had the dependencies for it (the old ones at any rate). what is the problem then?
if it's the mods that are not loaded, you can update them and they'll probably load (though i don't think you have anything installed that needs them)
PyTK and TMXL are a bit deprecated because they are not well-maintained and have some performance issues, so if you don't need them i'd suggest not using them
UI Info Suite (for bundle/museum, etc.) overlaps the mod that says store selling price. what do?

If I put 13 or more it stays frozen
I know cause I tested letting it almost an hour running and no time had passed

I did everything like I did the last two/three times I installed smapi and this has never happened
Maybe update PYTK, SpaceCore, and TXML mod toolkit
There's also a pinned troubleshooting guide if that doesn't work

there are like 3 different sprint mods
a mod that adds speedy shoes
(Sonic Shoes iirc)
And CJB cheats, which has a speed setting
I got sonic shoes mod, however until I fix my game I need a way to move quickly without them & I currently am to broke for the shoes lol
Plus my character is literally slower then the monsters trying to kill me now but I'll see what there is for sprinting bc the running mods r all outdated

then replace the thing you messed up with a backup
i removed _old from them which is why it says โ(2)โ
_old is the automatically generated backup of the previous day

I am trying to install the friendly forest farm mod which changes the forest farm layout, i've installed SMAPI, the patcher, and extracted the mod into the mods folder. I've tried making a new farm with the forest biome, tried opening an existing farm with the forest map, but none of them will use the mod map
