I know ginger island in particular has some extra tilesheets, not sure about the desert. If the recolors are seasonal, note that the island/desert might be hardcoding summer_ instead of {{season}}_. If this is a mod you're creating though, #making-mods-general would be the best place to ask.

Normally you only need to override it once; not sure why the suggested fixes on the wiki don't work in your case unfortunately.

I've just launched SMAPI with the "High DPI scaling override" set to Application, and the scale is just fine
So, the problem was between the screen and the chair this whole time
the file for the recolor is shown in the mod's files and is set to be loaded in the content.json, but it doesn't load in?

im using better junimos and they seem to be working well in terms of most other things but for some reason they dont harvest anymore?
I'm having a strange issue with Dryads of the Valley for AT
I was able to switch it to another dryad option in the menu that showed up
so I went to the island and it auto changed some of my existing trees
I tried to use the paint bucket on one and the farmer was hitting it with the scepter as if it were a hoe
shook the "fruit" off but it was 3 grey rectangles
with the tooltip, banana
the errors at the end are unrelated - I tried using the spray can but I don't have any mods that use that tool yet

like they were bananas falling to the ground but a box instead. there were 3
it wasn't 2 squares spinning like it was "working"
I went back to the farm then warped back to the island and was able to use the paint bucket on that banana tree to change it into a dryad. only 1 of the 3 dryad options worked. like in my greenhouse, the other 2 showed up as the grey

there seems to be an issue with fruit trees with alternative textures. I tested out the dryad mod myself and renamed texture.png to texture_0.png and that seemed to work

would it hiccup for just some trees and not all of them? since they all appear to be texture.png
all of the trees 2nd texture variant is broken, so if you only use the first one you wouldnt need to rename it

Is there a way to get Lumisteria's flower and plant set items to go on tables? They turn invisible when I try, but Lumisteria said it was an issue with Custom Furniture, which is known to be buggy
don't put them on cf tables. (DGA tables or vanilla tables should be fine)
I tried with a default table but it didn’t work either, that said, it was default but I have the mod that lets you change between textures, so it may still be considered modded
I have a mod called 'Free Love' which allows me to change the amount of gifts I can give a single person per day and per week.. but for some reason it stays to default even when I changed it...

Dynamic Game Assets (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/9365) is a mod which lets content packs and other mods add custom content like crops, trees, weapons, etc. See the mod description for details.
If you're making custom content, ask mod authors in #making-mods-general about whether using Json Assets (!ja) would be more suitable instead.

you can use dga and ja together as long as you don't use dga shirts and ja shirts together. don't know why it's shirts.

My cousin and I would like to play stardew valley expanded on his mac, and we have SMAPI installed. However when we download a mod and put it in the mod file then run the game, it still only says 3 mods running (ConsoleCommands, SaveBackup and ErrorHandler) how come it isnt reading this file?

i screwed up
I had the multiple spouse mod that had a child aging multiplier and a child to npc mod and it screwed up since i had the multiplier way too high
And now i can't locate my kid anywhereeee and it says that i don't even know it's name and then i checked it in the vanilla game it says i don't have a kid but i can see it glitched in a corner

Since I replaced the Lumisteria mods with DGA, I don't think I use PyTK anymore. Is there a way to uninstall it safely? I fear it may be causing the pride banner mod and some of the flowers not to show up in the shop (The flowers stopped after 13)

As long as you don't have any PyTK mods you can just remove it

as for dga items showing up in the store one day off - known bug, fixed in next version
(ie, a flower slated for Tuesday might show up Wednesday instead)

Hello, I am having a strange issue. I am getting letters in the mail from girls in the village asking me to stop by their place around "x" time, but when I go to their home at the mentioned time, nothing happens. I've been stopping by their homes every game day and nothing happens.

minimum game version isn't a thing - smapi versions are for specific versions of the game, so just pick a smapi version that make sense
how exactly do I use commands to edit relationship levels?
I have the different flowers being sold at different times to reduce the scrolling in Robin's shop
Banners are sold on Fridays, which might be Saturdays actually until that bug gets fixed

CF really had almost no options in terms of where and when to sell furniture, DGA is much more flexible
Remove the special order before uninstalling

you dont have the [CP] Stardew Valley expanded folder in your mods, reinstall sve
So I have a mods folder, and in that folder is a Smapi folder wich is empty for some reason

Also your mods folder is named MODS which is a good sign it's the wrong folder

(that looks like the installer, it's fine)
The installer folder can be deleted once SMAPI is installed
But try launching the game now and see if that works
(smapi will complain the installer isn't a mod, but nothing will break

The client log would be ideal actually, but the host log will still show the modlist and errors.
Some mods are not compatible with online coop, you gotta be pretty careful about what you add

hey everyone i was hoping I could get some help. I just started up a new world woth my friends playing modded for the first time but after about 15-20 minutes they randomly lose connection. Is there anything that I'm missing that I need to be doing?

The latest SMAPI + CP beta seems to help us, then port forwarding + a direct IP connection basically solved it

So uh, I've been running into a similar multiplayer issue in several mods, specifically Ridgeside Village, SVE and Market Day so far.
Whenever terrain changes in game
Like a new SVE warp point or bridge, or an rsv boulder being cleared, or market day stall that is supposed to be cleared the next day
It doest change for the client in game, even though it changes for the host. It only changes for the client after the host restarts.
I keep reporting these as mod issues, but I'm starting to think its something more fundamental.
Would it be content patcher responsible for this sort of thing?
Or even the base game?

hey, im having problems installing smapi 3.14.6, when i click on the install on Windows.bat it does nothing, if i launch as admin it says the system cannot find the path specified, any help would be much appreciated

that will make uninstalling extremely annoying
Have you launched the vanilla game at least once? And make sure you've extracted the whole smapi installer folder

its extracted and i reinstalled stardew, launched it and everything
the cmd prompt for the installer just doesnt open
i fixed it, was an obscure computer issue rather than any problem with smapi or otherwise

so im having a weird issue with my game. a bunch of objects (mostly mod objects, but a few vanilla ones like the ancient doll) when i look them up using lookup anything are showing as being needed for a recipe for house plants. i have no idea where this recipe is from, but seeing as its other ingredient listed is weeds i think it might be a bug. ive been told its a dynamic game assets issue but idk how to confirm that. it wouldnt be a problem, but im just worried its going to interfere with me getting the craft master achievement. anyone know anything about this?

It's still not a modded question but you could probably just download a save editor or something. I don't know how it works. Honestly though, I don't know of any vanilla way to revert saves

Market Day registers a token IsMarketDay that switches the shop tables on and off, it would be interesting to know the value of that token compared to whether the mod thinks it's market day (from the log)

where do I place the new mod?
wym by it splits into 3? if there's a folder in the zip and then there are 3 folders in that folder, then just place the first folder you got directly out of the zip into the mods folder

so its not called "stardew valley" and then "application" under type, but actually "stardew valley.exe"

hmm anyway hopefully that works, but the reason i joined was cause i had my own problem,, basically i have really no idea why but it seems like the ppja mod "More Recipes" doesnt work, but only the JsonAssets part, the mailframework is working fine (as are every other ppja mod)

haven't personally played it, but it seems pretty neat, it only has one monster questline so far however

on my recent playthrough i just started off with the stardew VERY expanded nexus mods collection (installed with vortex)
and then added on from there some of my personal must haves and stuff
also so i ended up using the dga version for more recipes alongside the jsonasset versions of all the other ppja mods and it seems to be wokring now

And with all of this clutter of mods, it seems It caused a new issue which i've never heard of - I can't close a letter
By this i mean, i can close it, but not 100%, i can reopen it how many times I want, and I cant read my other letters

If it installed into modifiedWindowsApps you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game
One person had to uninstall and reinstall gamepass to get it to move to the right location....
This mod is pretty sketch and no one here knows anything about how it works
The code is closed-source and seems to install ads into the game
And one person said their computer flagged it as a virus (idk how accurate that is, antiviruses are kind unstable)

Every mod needs to be in its own individual folder. You have mods outside of their folder; you should delete those mods and reinstall them
how do i fix this? i downloaded stardew expanded with an existing save and it has the immersive farm 2 mod as well

hello all (: i was wondering if i could get some help.. i am very new to modding but ive been trying to apply "GH's Peach Farmer Body Type" to my game.. ive read all instructions very carefully... i have gotten to the point where i have merged my base and other options but whenever i put the merged png into DIYCP Suite farmer files, my farmer has some white layering issues?

Simply put, modders want to be able to delete or delist their mods or old version of their mods, and the pack system doesnt let them do that.
Its a nexus culture problem if you ask me
Author perspective:
You have no control over which other mods your mods are shown alongside, including NSFW mods and mods you might not agree with OR that your mod may be incompatible with.
Also, Nexus removed the ability for authors to delete old versions of mods, so there's no guarantee users will be shown the latest version as part of a collection.
Generally, having mods in collections seems likely to increase the number of bad bug reports.
For users, uh, I think the big issue in SDV is that it makes you use vortex
Which doesnt work great for sdv

For the versions issue, here's a situation I expect to arise if more users adopt collections:
"Your mod doesn't work!"
"Yeah, cause you're using 6 versions back in some random collection where another mod is patching over the same sprites"

hello chat how are you? Anyone having audio issues when they mod there game o.o; i get static when there is no ,mods its fine
The gist of my issue is that I'm using a copy of Stardew from Xbox Gamepass and I want to use the Expanded modpack. However, I'm having trouble doing that. Before I go off and waste my money, I wanted to know if I was doing anything wrong or if I was missing a step. Thanks for your time!

Delete it and try again.
Also be sure to update the xbox app (and every other app) through the, errr, apps app in Windows.
Xbox is moody as heck though, its absolutely ridiculous.
Nah gamepass is basically the same as owning it.
