that part of the map probably comes from the spring_z_extras tilesheet that SVE adds

And if anything in aurora is on a different tilesheet that isn't tagged, I wouldn't see it

they do different things, the first adds sprites for the ppja based items for the mod Better Artisan Goods Icons, the second swaps sprites for items that used to be part of ppja but got added to the base game

Hot Spring Farmcave and Mountain Top Farm both replace the farm cave and are incompatible in that regard (unless the farm mod has a config to not replace the cave). SVE and romanceable rasmodius are incompatible too and the cause of the tower issue
To fix this, delete these folders and reinstall the mod: Mods\Gameplay\CustomNPCExclusions, Mods\NEEDED\CustomNPCExclusions. this should also be fixed, it'll cause some problems

Have verified files on Steam, redownloaded SV many times, even when uninstalling SMAPI, SV will attempt to open on Steam but will give up (then I verify and I get this error). Please help!

you can ignore it, but basically those mods can corrupt your save if you uninstall them, but I'm not sure if they actually even do

It depends on the mod that requires it.
That's why it's sometimes helpful to read descriptions of mods you use to see if there are any specific instructions for installing and uninstalling.
I have removed pytk from my mod set up before without any bad effects though, so it really just depends.
is there a way to have 2 mod folders? cuz i wanna get expanded but i dont wanna ruin my main file cuz its not run with expanded and i'm too lazy to manually delete and add expanded into my mod folder every time i play on my main/expanded file

So I think you're right—the error in the log does seem to be only related to Farmer Helper

Hi everyone, I have a little problem with this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/11398. I would like to use a different portrait :(. But when I scale it to the specified potrait file, the image I want to use becomes extremely pixelated. And if the image is larger, it no longer appears in the game. Can someone please help me help?
well that just is how images work, when you make them smaller theres less room for pixels so it becomes pixelated

so i played with my cp files and now the bridges on my farm disappeared 💀 the files i changed (outdoortilesheet 1 and town tilesheet) shouldnt affect my bridges from the looks of them, but i wanted to ask here anyway to know if thats the problem or if its something else?
both the tilesheets you listed do indeed have bridges on them and Farm bridges are also drawn with them. Make sure you did not edit them out by mistake cx

Erasing things by mistake is a common mistake. Speaking from experience

Okay so I ran the file through the site and I think I may have found the issue? I forgot to put " around the keybind I set, let me see if that will fix it

this looks to me like you have multiple mods that add the same machines
probably the "Artisan Valley" ones - since you have "Artisan Valley Machine Goods", you probably don't need "Artisan Valley Machines Only"
at least that's my understanding - gonna try to double-check on the mod page
yep, the "Artisan Valley - MACHINES ONLY" file says this:
For Content Packs that want to use Artisan Valley machines and nothing else. This mod does NOTHING on its own. Only download if specifically instructed to.
remove that mod and i think it should fix those errors
I've got a pretty rough and complicated question: Is there any way for me (who has no experience with coding), to easily create a new mod for personal use that manipulates and recolors SVE and RSV to be compatible with Rustic Town Interiors? I've noticed that the author DustBeauty hasn't been active on Nexus for almost a year, so it's unlikely that they will provide us with an update that adds proper compatibility. Again, this is strictly for my own personal use, unless DustBeauty gives me consent to upload my compatibility patch. My DMs are open, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could provide a walkthrough.
well I tried the keybind it set and it didn't work, i'm trying a different keybind to see if it was just something about the key I set or if I messed up somehow. At least it's not throwing that error anymore though

hi guys, I'm on PC and im running into some lag spike problems where the game would freeze for less than a fraction of a sec every 4 secs or so when using mods. I've tried uninstalling all mods and running with just base SMAPI, and changing the priority of Stardew to high in task manager. Didn't change anything. I've also tried reinstalling the base game and SMAPI and even switching to a Hard drive instead of a solid drive. Still tons of lag spikes. Base game works fine though. Here's my system specs:
Ryzen 5 1600
GTX 1060 6gb
32gb of memory
3 monitors
Any help is appreciated.

oh i do have pytk installed but i have tried with it off but still lag problems let me try uninstalling it entirely

SMAPI has hitches on its own. I've done comprehensive tests on this.
soooo i'm not sure if it's relevant to the issues you're currently having (i haven't been following along), but using vortex is generally not recommended because it can cause lots of problems

Just be careful about uninstalling those mods
If your save is modded, there's a good chance you have a mod that does that
So don't play your modded saves without mods and don't remove those mods randomly, and you should be fine

It's possible the other player's game would crash or error if they interacted with any of the items added by JA
The best practice with JA mods is for all players to have exactly the same ones, or you risk a json shuffle

A bunch of your mods are just cosmetic, those don't need to match
Things like recolors
The ones that are just informational, like Lookup ANything, are probably also fine to only have on one player
But mods that change things, like Json Assets content packs (new items) or Love of Cooking (reworks how cooking works) probably need to be the same for all players

@tired brook I think I might have run across a sound-related bug in SmallBeachFarm.
when the setting for "add ocean sounds to farm" is selected, sometimes the season music doesnt' work in the house ahdn the mini jukebox doesnt' work.
had that happen on my home computer last night, even after restarts and with latest mods of everything in SMAPI
...but then I unchecked the ocean sounds in generic mod config and all the music on the farm worked again.
I also verified all of the SDV files in steam, and nothing was corrupted.

so I know mods that retexture NPC portraits are usually incompatable with eachother, but i've heard that if you delete the files for the appropriate NPC then you can use more than one at once? Like for Seasonal Cuter Characters, if I delete the files in that for the wizard, I should be able to theoretically use another mod that adds different portraits for the wizard right?

Those entries (text near that) will tell you about what’s patching the wizard

What farm map did you originally choose for your save?

White Water Farm only replaces the riverland farm. Can you try with that farm again, run patch summary in the SMAPI console window, and post your new log?

Seems to be a bug due to one of the newer game updates (possibly 1.3.36?); I think it'd need a new unofficial update.
(It could be simplified using newer Content Patcher features too at the same time.)

And that'd be why it's not working. Why would you think you could mod a pirated game?
Anyhow, SMAPI is specifically coded to not work with pirate game copies. If you want to mod SDV, you will need to get a legitimate copy. There are no workarounds for that.

that's not exactly true, but yeah, neither you nor me are willing to help with a pirated copy
replace FeTK and Tool Delivery Services with https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1536 and https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7842. FeTK and Tool Delivery Services have a lot of incompatibilities and aren't maintained anymore. I'd also suggest removing PyTK and TMXL if you aren't using any mods that require them.
Even if there is a workaround I don't know it so I wouldn't be able to help anyway.

Where you found the log, it should be one folder out from that. You might also want to go into steam and turn off cloud saves so that it doesn't bring back up a corrupted save.
They time events from the start, I don't know how that would be affected by starting mid-playthrough

None of them are incompatible. This is just a save bake issue.
