As to compatibility with "Luck Skill", I took a look at that mod's source code, and it shouldn't be incompatible. At least, not directly. There are some potential complications if that mod handles events before EBRNG (in that EBRNG will overwrite whatever "Luck Skill" had calculated), but as it is now, I don't think that will happen (because EBRNG comes before "Luck Skill" when sorted alphabetically, and SMAPI usually does things this way).

Me and my wife are playing Multiplayer with SVE, Ridgeside and IF2R but for some reason the joining player doesn't have the same ingame map. We have the exact same mods installed. Any reason this would be happening?

I figured, it seemed like it would have to do with the host loading the IF2R map but not the joiner
Since IIRC that's what would trigger the map to show IF2R on it

i'm not sure if the problem is the FarmType condition in the world map patch, but really replacing the other map pngs with the IF2R ones should work as long as they are the same size at least. you could also try editing the content.json of IF2R if the condition is the problem

Incase anyone else has this problem, it's probably Museum Expansion (charlie) and Domestic Animals (charlie the chicken). I've put a bug report to Domestic Animals
I'd report it to Museum Expansion probably since they are the one adding a different charlie to the game.
You could probably do it manually even. I think they are probably just sharing the same references, simply Charlie. So one of them would just need to make it like charlie_ME or something
I thought it'd be better since Domestic Animals is newer.
@CapnSmite I would love if the entirety of the modding scene was open to consoles. But consoles are a lot more restrictive about what they allow, everything has to pass certification and all that. So I'd have to officially select certain mods, but I dunno if I want to play favorites

If you do a patch summary, you can see what all is editing the farmer bases.
Generally, multiple mods changing them is not going to work.
DIYCP Suite and seasonal cute characters seem to be the only CP mods editing the farmer

3.12.8 installed just fine, 3.13.x refuses to work at all

Well ModUpdater is crashing right at the start so that's one thing.
There is also this: Found MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server installed, which may conflict with SMAPI. If you experience errors or crashes, try disabling that software or adding an exception for SMAPI and Stardew Valley.

hmm I don't have much experience with Macs
At the bear minimum I would update the framework mods as whatever new mod you may have added could need a later version of them.
its been several months since i last played, but back then it worked fine and smapi automatically updated just normal by itself
even today, the 3.12.8 smapi installed automatically fine
anything 3.13.0 onwards does not
i use a mod that use BFAV but it never said it was required.
Then it's probably telling you it doesn't see it and that's it.
Unless it's an error you are fine
So, it works fine for me on a mac too, but maybe your computer is being weird.
You can try a manual install to see if that helps
However, if you're on the compatibility branch that won't work

Looks like Vortex isn't installing things right, you should try to do it manually
If your game isn't working right, you might have to fix whatver vortex has going on
If your game is working fine though you can probably ignore it

You know what I think you set your downloads folder to the Stardew Valley Mods folder in vortex. I would recommend not doing that in pretty much any game when it comes to mod managers. If you want to get rid of those errors clear all those empty folders with the random numbers at the end. Charlie Maps also needs TMXL map Toolkit installed so if you want that and Museum Expansion to work install that. same goes for the BusLocations for Desert needing the BusLocations mod, and DGA Space Laser needing DynamicGameAssests. Whatever the Female, Hairstyles, Hats, Male, Shirts and Skirts are, it may have been part of a mod not installed correctly. BFAV needs an update to work so if you want that to work you will need to update it. Finally Unique Children Talk appears to be installed incorrectly.

I think you may want a graphical mod for that, Like the realist recolor, I think it fits the cottagecore vibe better. There aren't enough farms with high foliage I feel like that would fit the vibe.

I edited the manifest of the farm map mod to look like this but it failed to parse
I have mods that allow me to be really free with my decorating. Between the mod that lets me remove bushes and the one with the rugs outside I'm planning to decorate a lot. I am super interested in the wild animals mod but I'm curious if you guys think that because I will probably be decorating areas where the wild animals would usually spawn, will there be a conflict? Or will the animals just not spawn? or is this question too obscure for an answer xD
are you talking your farm or...? bc wild animals (mod) will only spawn animals outside of the farm

Looking at the screenshot alone, something is in there that isn't supposed to.
Oh well that seems to be your only error. There's a folder inside your mods that's called "Content"
These are usually xnb replacers, pretty sure not SVE related but hey can't be too sure now can I? ^^

Reset Terrain Features (https://smapi.io/mods/#Reset_Terrain_Features) is a mod that lets you reset, clear, or generate everything that spawns on a map using an in-game menu. That's especially useful when changing maps mid-save, as the debris will otherwise use the old layout (causing things like trees in the water or bushes blocking exits).

grandpas farm and immersive farm 2 remastered. the later one is a bit big for most solo players. personally i enjoy it, but its not something i'd recommend to everyone. alternatively, there are a lot of other great maps out there on nexus. since you're starting over it'd make sense to get a modded farm map to go with it

When I Livestream with OBS, with SMAPI 3.13.0 or below, OBS catches the game screen.
But currently, with game version 1.5.6 Hotfix#3, and SMAPI 3.13.4, OBS can only catch normal games, can't play SmapiMod.
Is there a 1.5.5 version of SMAPI
If it's version 1.5.5 then it's Smapi 3.13.2.
I tried, OBS only captures the original game's screen.
If I run the game using Smapi, OBS won't catch anything.
Of course, the mod still works fine.
I mean I need help to be able to Livestream with mods.
I have tried many versions of Smapi along with the compatible game version.
The error OBS does not catch the game screen when running Smapi only occurs from version 3.13.0 and above.
There are no problems in running Smapi.

Only Stardew Valley is affected, other games are normal.

I just removed that bundle and Artisan Valley altogether. Wasn't a fan of half the stuff anyway. And since I can still "cook" the two teas without them I don't care too much about it anymore π

You don't add them all back at once. Confirm the game doesn't crash in vanilla, then that it doesn't crash with the default mods like ErrorHandler, and then try readding the downloaded mods after

If you just installed smapi and it can't find your game files, it may not find a crash log as it isn't technically crashing, just not even making it to the starting point. Has it ever worked for you?
yes, but after the 1.5 update with all the new files, smapi stopped working

Hey so I'm having issues trying to use the SMAPI Modder. I know the solution to the windows issue of the game being too zoomed in, but I cannot find the files to fix the issue. Whenever I right click on a file I can go to properties but no compatibility options come up.

according to the log (that's from about 50 minutes ago) the mods folder is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods. is it not there, or is the log old maybe?

i just updated my sve mod and it replaced my shoes with a fish?? i'm v confused and i can't remove it from the shoe slot, is there any way i could just delete it in code or something

tysm anyways, it also replaced my tempered galaxy sword icon with the tempered galaxy hammer icon, but the sword description and stats stayed the same so it's not a big issue there, just weird
that's a tricky one yeah. you'd probably have to get the old version of SVE again to get the boots to have the old ID. and any other JA mod that you possibly updated affects it too

Juat so you know, your JA ids are stored in a folder with the save file. Sometimes you can edit those.
