I would actually recommend looking around in Event Viewer (hit the Windows Key, type Event Viewer) but the interface is questionable
this type of unknown crash is probably logged there if anywhere.

Event Viewer's interface really is trash. I basically just go to Windows Logs->Applications. Then Find on the right sidebar

Looks to be a town interior tile of a shopping cart sigh. I didn't even touch that mod so I don't understand the issue
(lookup anything's debug mode will tell you the tilesheet and id any tile you hover over0

I don't even know how to access lookup anything's debug but I doubt finding the actual tile will help me fix it
Im currently running into this issue whilst trying to run SDV Expanded. I checked for the most recent update for PyTK however it is the exact same version that I have. This is the same situation with Tractor Mod and UI Info Suite.
Maybe I should just uninstall and reinstall custom spouse patio and hope it sorts itself out
in the config somewhere.

there's a reason why I referred to it as "spelunking in Event Viewer". Realistically - the interface is crap. You basically spend a bunch of time digging around and hoping to find something you can google. It's tedious. It sucks. But it's the only real source of info for a logless crash.

I am using Chests Anywhere, and have been renaming chests to fit their purpose.. but have noticed that there is a chest somewhere on my farm that I.. honestly can't find.... anywhere XD is there any way to either locate and/or teleport to this strangely invisible chest?
no, hell it's not even in my house, it's in the Save owners, and she didn't as she uses that slot.

mhm, I've been having multiplayer issues all night (now technically morning for me) including crashing if I enter the forest and now this.
yes it's modded, I've downloaded some of the mods (all of them would most definitely crash my PC)
but before last night we ran fine without me even having SMAPI.
after I had needed to delete SMAPI to even get onto Stardew
Is there any way I can get rid of all trees, branches, stones, boulders, and grass from the water here? I have SDVE and I'm thinking one of the mods did this because it has an option to spawn resources anywhere - which might be why all of this is here over the water? I also have them over the little farming areas that SDVE gives the other NPCs. I'm just not sure how to fix this if that's possible so need a little help

Usually everyone needs the mods and the exact same versions of everything.
I think visual stuff is an exception as long as it doesn't actually change anything about the game.
But then it might be hard to communicate if things look different.
mods include critters, earth recolor, animated stuff, auto gates, better ranching, ToDew, UIinfosuite2 and calendar crops and lookup anything

Unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate this issue, even after following your steps on the Nexus bug page (changing a flooring after adding a new AT pack). This issue has only been reported a few times these last couple months, so it seems to be an outlier (and one that is difficult to replicate).
Is this a save that was migrated to 1.5.5 / 1.5.6 from 1.5.4+? And is it possible for you to send your save file over to me, as it'll give me a better chance of replicating this issue.
As a note, AT doesn't use in-game IDs like JA and isn't susceptible to shuffles.

There aren't any commands for locating a chest that I know of and I've never seen a mod that will tell you where or teleport you to a chest.

After you update smapi, can you try to reupload your log? It absolutely will not load correctly for me so I can see what the error is.

You can change it to not use the volume buttons and such by default, but I can't recall how to do that off the top of my head. (I had to do that on my lenovo yoga.)
You can configure the key with GMCM
(There probably is a configuration for it in the config.json file, but I don't have it to look.)

I have a mid-low range PC with a Ryzen 3 3200g processor, with an integrated Vega 8 graphics.
It's mainly a sprite conflict between two mods (talkohlooeys' Portraits and the robin romance) that I was trying to solve through the portrait mod, I need help in figuring how to fix scales etc. since I'm new to using the mod

Basically, the robin romance mod adds another npc to replace her in the carpenter shop. The problem is that the romanceable robin is a new npc and the replacement at the shop uses robin's old id. So talkohlooeys' Portraits gives her the new robin sprite

I already did, but it still won't open smapi.
Save is upgraded to 1.5.6 I can send you the save file. A little more note on it is that it happens when installing any mods - like last night it happened to me after I added that new Alec NPC. And it's not all floor files. If you'd like, I can give u a copy of my stardew mod folder so u can load my game with all my mods and I can tell you which floors are bugged so you can see it ?

If you want to quickly make a new folder, rename the old one Mods (Real) and the new one Mods, copy over ErrorHandler, SaveBackup, ConsoleCommands, AT, and some AT packs

Yep, it was an internal AT issue involving how I passed the wallpapers / floors to SDV! It took a frustratingly long time to pinpoint that, but it should be fixed now.

But I'm currently too broke for an obelisk (plus iridium-poor)
So that'll be another challenge, I might need to wait for Y3
in my current playtrough it kinda goes the other way. i'm running immersive farm 2, better mixed seeds, seed shortage and a seed maker mod that changes the result to 90% mixed seeds. additionally i'm running more challenging community center with PPJA crops (and SVE) and i'm estimating that i have a chance of completing the center in year 3 maybe if i'm lucky

PyTK and TMXL both have a ton of features
some of these are handled by other mods
some are lost
No one knows what PyTK and TMXL do exactly, feels like 
(I don't, at least)
So, here's a short list of mods taking over:

Content Code or Esca's Modding Plugins for some of the custom tile actions
Peace's upcoming framework for TMXL buildables
Oh also SpaceCore for serialization

There's another upcoming game update that will open up even more stuff for modding, but with that looming on the horizon there's some stuff that's in limbo right now
For example, Dynamic Game Assets was supposed to replace Json Assets, but it's not in any shape to do that anytime soon (yet)

DGA has some areas that are more finished than others
And it's unfortunately incompatible with a few other major frameworks, like PFM
There's a few things it can't do that's keeping me from migrating
Like custom shops and using custom items in events
Yeah, those are some other notable issues
When the new game update with item ID changes comes out, it should be fully compatible, after it's been refactored to handle that
But that's some unknown amount of time away
Until then json assets has my hand 😔
And at that point, CP would be able to handle a lot of the functionality of JA and DGA (though potentially not all, and they will be maintained for the sake of older content packs)

basically, right now every vanilla item has a number to keep track of it, corresponding to its location in a png. unfortunately, if you want to add modded items, you have to give them numbers too, but then you run into problems with two mods trying to add an object with the same number.
so spacechase0 made Json Assets, which handles assigning all the numbers, but it's not deterministic

(and unlike certain things you can't give them infinitely big numbers, because the png can only be so big)
which is a problem
so then spacechase0 wrote DGA, which refuses to give items numbers
but you run into other problems, since a whole lot of the game code depends on the numbers
Okay, that explains dga.... I figured someone was out to fix that issue.
"DGA sample object wine" being one of them
so Pathos wrote up a proposal to allow strings instead of nunbers
so instead of an object being named "532", it will get named "authorname.modname.objectname"

so the game devs are working on the update, and when they have a beta, they'll release it for mod authors, and we will collectively work on rewriting a bunch of mods
I like to tweak the game. This will make tweaking different.
plus, the game devs are bringing Pathos on board to help with this update
so really, we're being super spoiled
they're also looking into de-hardcoding miscellaneous other bits of the game
(like trees!)
moving into speculation, some people speculate these kinds of things are part of the game devs working on "finalizing" the game in a sense—it's possible we won't get any more big content updates to the game, but the devs may hope the game continues to have new life forever via mods
(that's my own personal spin on speculations, so none of that is confirmed at all)
So.... no more spawns at Marnie's, but no more id switcheroos either.

It's a viable theory. After all, we have so many game-changing, content-adding mods like SVE and Ridgeside that the game could easily remain relevant without official updates in the future as mod creators add more to the list

I think your theory makes sense. The modding community for this game is so incredibly active, why bother to create more dlc when you have an entire group of passionate people that will do it for you? So make the game easier to deal with on that end.
Well, the other part fueling that speculation is the trailer release for Haunted Chocolatier
It's clear that CA has other projects he'd love to work on (either as well or instead)
This is great info b/c I was going to start learning the ins and outs of modding for SDV this summer when I'm off work. I definitely want to wait until these changes are made.
Yeah, there will definitely be some cool changes in modding! However, many of the key frameworks will stay the same, most likely
It depends on exactly what kinds of mods you're looking to make
For example, pixel art replacements are likely to stay pretty much 100% the same
And the heart of the game code should be the same—the way that functions and stuff interact
I was going to start by fixing a broken mod that we used to use but is unmaintained and incompatible with the current frameworks.

That's what the error messages said--couldn't deal with the tilesheets.
I can't say for sure, but I don't anticipate them changing too much more
Of course, with that kind of mod you'd be only making it for personal use

I still have a fully modded 1.12 installed on steam. Bought gog so I could mod 1.5.6 wihtout touching that one

For example, Content Patcher will continue to exist and is crazy-backcompatible
I mean it just sounds like it could xD Since you're changing the way the game handles items and stuff
But at the same time I can see mods exploding too because yah
