when it asks for which directory the game is in, give it the directory from DepotDownloader
Did that, and it said 'cannot find the game automatically, please provide file path to game directory'
yes, you would have to give it the directory you used depotdownloader to download into

You can go to the folder
Click get more info when you right click
And in the more info screen you can copy the file path

sorry if this has been answered before but does anyone know anything about known issues with SDVE? i ran it last year on my computer absolutely fine but since reinstalling it this year it hasn’t worked, i know the Pytk isn’t compatible at the moment and i’ve tried running the unofficial new one but it just completely crashes my game and SDVE won’t run without it

I installed alternative textures, got the brush and the bucket, and later uninstalled it, so the items were bugged and couldn't be deleted/dropped
i had to use CJB Item Spawner to remove tools from a mod i removed

I have a question. What happens if not everybody has a custom farm map downloaded and it is selected as farm type? Will they simply crash or grab the mapfile from host?

You might be able to move things back, but you’d probably want to reset after that just in case, so try deleting the extra stuff from the mods folder and run a reset game files using the instructions there

The range is from UI Info Suite 2, which doesn't know about the changes Better Junimos made
Many of the range mods hardcode in their ranges (if not all)
So if you have other mods that change the range, they won't reflect this properly
but the junimos still didn't pick up the crops that were outside the shown range

you have random recipes whose ingredients you didn't install the mod for, so those recipes are being skipped
the mod that adds the ingredients is probably an optional dependency

ui info suite is a basic handy one, if you want access to more cheatsy things than CJB cheats menu as well
Crops anytime anywhere or an unrelated mod farther up in the chat somewhere
otherwise indeed take a look around, there are a lot of neat mods
Although I’m not totally sure crops anytime anywhere counts for normal trees

if you are into some small details like animal skins or new sprites etc, seasonal cuter characters is nice, and Elle's animal mods
PlacementPlus I enjoy, you dont have to destory floors to put new ones down, it just replaces them
I'm testing it now with all my mods so may be an incompatible test, but I'm only able to spawn them using ChatCommands with /dga_store, can't seem to craft them, and most of the features like carry chest arent working. Let me know if you get it working
Elle's new coop, Elle's new horses etc, just type in Elle's and you get the bunch in the row
SitForStamina Mod is really nice, just sit down and get your energy back up

does a mod that helps you keep track of what you need to do exist? for example one that shows what items you can and have to get for cc at the moment in the form of a checklist or something but not just for that like overall goals & stuff
There is a mod called To Dew I use for that
I can't answer that for sure, but if you lookup mega storage in this server we're not the only ones having issues
It doesn't auto make the list, but it's handy for making notes.

well i found a mod that kinda does what i was looking for. RTGOAT's Longevity adds a few things but everything can be turned off and what remains is a system that reduces sales prices based on how much of it you sold, and then ups the prices again over time. odd that noone else really did a mod like that, this one is older and the author isnt actively updating it anymore, but it works.
is it compatible with modded stuff nowadays?

the 4.x.x versions of AnS are multiplayer beta
The background reason for this is because shop prices are quite hardcoded. You either need to erase the shop entirely and remaking it, or transpile the code.
Also I had one other question. Does this mod (https://smapi.io/log/89bf8494c20b4a99ac42d6af42fab65e) empty the spouse rooms so you can edit them and make them actually match the rest of the house?

Hey everyone, new to the server and I have what is hopefully an easy question - I've been playing on desktop and 1.5 for so long I've forgotten which versions of some core stuff is 1.4 but im bedridden for a few weeks and going to be playing on my phone - does anyone know which pytk version is still mobile compatible if there is one one? I know there an unofficial fix for 1.5 but I can't parse which old file was for 1.4 and keep getting dll errors in smaip

Is this where I talk about issues I've been having with SMAPI. Im pretty sure I downloaded everything I needed for ridgeside village but now when I open the game in unable to use the map got key or the menu hotkey. So I can't see the map or my full inventory ECT. Not sure how to fix it.

yeah, we've been seeing this with rsv lately, I think
where the code component relies on part of the CP component
so if you don't install the whole thing correctly, you get "inventory doesn't open"
there's actually just an icon it needs from the CP component

For the dead crops, the layer logic incorrectly stopped scanning tiles when it found any dead crop (instead of just skipping to the next tile): https://github.com/Pathoschild/StardewMods/commit/0f873c7.
For the paddy crops, Data Layers calls the vanilla dirt.paddyWaterCheck() method. However if the dirt doesn't contain a paddy crop, that logic just returns false. I got it to work thanks guys! It's a little slow now bc I have like 34 mods on it. But ridgeside added so much extra stuff

also acidsugar, if you're using discord on your computer, you didn't need to take a photo of your screen!
you can use the prtsc button on the keyboard to take a screenshot of the whole screen (it goes into the clipboard to be pasted into anything that can take images - image editing programs, discord, etc)
or alt+prtsc to take a screenshot of just hte active window, or windows+shift+s (if you're on windows) to take a picture of just part of the screen
If you're on Mac it's command shift 4
It's also built into quicktime or something if you want to manually find the window I guess but command shift 4 is easy

- Pufferchick Pet is broken. You need to edit content.json to fix it, as best I can tell. It's written in 1.13.0 format so...
- Random Flower Queen is not compatible with Immersive Shane
(my best guess, it could also be DSV)
However, I think it will just fail to load Shane specifically
- Boy do a lot of mods have broken manifest versions

The exact error is Multiple mods want to provide the 'Data/Events/Blacksmith' asset (Dwarvish Mattock, Content Patcher), but an asset can't be loaded multiple times. SMAPI will use the default asset instead; uninstall one of the mods to fix this. (Message for modders: you should usually use StardewModdingAPI.IAssetEditor instead to avoid conflicts.)
I can't tell if CP would skip editing Data/Events/Blacksmith if I removed all the content packs

but basically inside the Adopt n Skin folder there's a folder named Assets and in there there's a folder named Skins and you name the skin [animal name]_[number] and put it in there

Random question, when I host a coop game my friend joins for about 5-10 minutes before the game says that the server disconnected him. There is no errors in either of our logs. Is this a connection issue or a mod issue? We have 100+ mods ...

Hey! So I'm trying to play with Grandpa's farm, I have all the necessary mods installed, but when I pick my farm, it doesnt show up. Do I have to put it in a specific place, i've had it installed before, and I dont remember putting it somewhere else but the main mod folder 🙂
It might also effect the SVE itself, I have not checked if that is on yet.

For me at least there’s four patches in content.json, I believe one for the cat, one for the dog, and two for Cursors. The two for cursors are identical and conflict, and since you can’t have two load actions on the same file it doesn’t load either.

You need UI info suite 2, not UI info suite. The 2 is in the mod name and not a version number.

Hello! I need a little bit of help. I don't know where to ask this but I think this is the right place. Ever since I downloaded the newest version of SMAPI and Stardew, my Stardew Valley has been taking 10+ minutes simply to launch. I end up getting stuck on the console screen and the game only loads eventually. I've tried updating mods, running Stardew without mods, I've uninstalled my SMAPI, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Stardew. I've tried looking for specific errors, although I'm not super technical when it comes to game files so I'm not even sure I was looking in the right place. I am quite rather stuck. I would like to be able to play Stardew again but I'm just not sure what to do. Does anyone have a possible solution to this? Also, something to note. My Stardew didn't start doing this until I updated both my SMAPI and the game it's self. It launched completely fine and rather quickly before I updated it.
