Interesting observation on the M1 lag issue - it seems to ease up in the mines for whatever reason. The game plays completely normally in the mines, but lags to hell outside

I've not got any recolours on, from what I've seen it's an issue with the M1s running mods, not an unplayable issue but I'm experimenting to try to get to the root
I'm not fully convinced it's M1, but it could beโit sounds like it's pretty similar to what I get and I'm on a pre-M1 Mac
It could also be that we get the same issue for different reasons, or similar issues that are indistinguishable from a user perspective

You need to remove the Greenhouse from the houses tilesheet to a separate one and edit the content.json accordingly.
1.5 made the Greenhouse a separate building, so any building mod that still includes it in the houses tilesheet is not gonna work.

Overgrown Enchanted Garden Buildings changes the exterior of the buildings. It has nothing to do with the interior.

My friend and i played MP with SVE for a 2 month and everything was fine
But now when my friend joining the server he in the bug desync with me
Something about 3 to 5 hours
And when day end
My friend got kicked from server
This problem only with smapi
Vanilla works perfectly fine
(As a side note, we recommend typing 1-2 longer messages than small tidbits as you've done, since it's a complete thought that way. It also decreases the likelihood of triggering the slow mode)

anyone know of a mod that changes the town interior that isnt rustic country interior? struggling to find something
Right now on Windows machines, Stardew only uses a certain amount of memory. Doesn't matter how much you have. But an update is in the works so that the game will use as much memory as it needs so hopefully OOM stuff won't happen anymore as long as you have enough.
A Toned down Stardew Valley is another option but that's still for 1.4

Im currently playing the game and sometimes at the end of the day around 8, either before I go to bed or during the bed/saving process, smapi shows this. I copied it from the smapi popup while playing the game because I dont see it on the errorlog once I close the game, but i included the errorlog anyway. This causes lag at night because this error is being written on smapi while the game is trying to save. I dont have any beehives, recyclers, or anything like that either

Can someone help with solving my problem. About 2 month ago i started playing with my friend in SVE. All was good but things gone wrong when we updated mods and now my friend have a big desync in time when he joining. He's time starts from the moment he joins the server, when in fact about 4 hours have passed. We tried a lot of things and even downgrade mods. It worked for 1 day, but now it starts again. I would be grateful for any help

Most of them include Smapi but I'm pretty sure I'm using it wrong but I can't even get the non Smapi ones to work. no, but if you have a large mod list it can be useful to organize mods into subfolders by type. however finding and updating the mods becomes more involved that way. if you have say few hundred mods i'd say it's still enough to keep it simple and install everything directly into the Mods

I somehow fixed it by taking all of my mods out of the folder and replacing them.

hm well, the mods are loaded from Mods/Mods and everything seems to be working fine, so it's not really a problem currently
okay! yes some of the mods are outdated bc i haven't played in a little bit but i tried adding new mods and they just won't work
you could move everything from the inner Mods folder to the upper Mods folder and delete the empty folder afterwards if you want to make the setup more standard. but there can be a lot of reasons why the mods won't work and the problems can probably be seen from the log if you install the mods and launch the game again

For the record, Diverse Stardew Valley also includes outfits for the vanilla character designs as well. You don't have to change how they look ๐

i keep having this issue but i just downloaded one mod, i have smapi, (most recent version) and when i open stardew valley, the window that would usually pop up with my mod log doesn't, and just stardew opens without any mods. i was told a while ago i need to open stardew valley through smapi but i don't know how
Oh they include outfits too? I guess I didn't look into it enough.
There are a couple of ways. If you set the launch path in Steam like the console says to do when you install Smapi, you can just hit Play on Steam. (Not sure about other platforms.) Otherwise, you can go to where ever your SDV exe is and find the Smapi exe there.

Also if you're talking about the support from mod makers, it's actually a lot of work to maintain two versions of a mod, and a lot of people don't want to do that because modding is something they do in their free time for no obligation and they don't want the extra stress. Yes, it sucks for Android users, but also you are not entitled to being able to mod the game, especially when a great deal of mods actually do work fine.

Caity, the default settings are Vanilla, you only change them if you want diversity. So just download and put the mod in the folder :)

think I'm gonna try uninstalling and then reinstalling SDV from Steam
SMAPI created a "Mods" folder in the game directory (with Steam that's in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley)
you just download the uiinfosuite2.zip, unzip it and drop the unzipped file into that folder
if you have the save backup mod from smapi install there probably are some backups in the game directory
it should, my multiplayer games always use it and i haven't noticed any problems

Shiko works generally, just doesnt have stuff like resort responses and the like, I do believe

Most probably will be compatible.
I would check any that mess with scaling or difficulty though.
SVE has some options to make the game harder so stuff like Better Balance would need some configuration.

Reinstalling smapi only removes smapi's own files, it doesn't touch your mods or saves. Can still do that if it makes you feel safer

Can you re-check if dotnet is installed? You can open Run (Ctrl + R) and then type appwiz.cpl, it should open all apps you've installed in your device.

So, i've watched multiple tutorials on how to download mods for the game on a mac OS. I've downloaded both mono + SMAPI but once i try to setup smapi by opening the file for setting up a mac, it doesn't work. I've enabled it in the settings of the computer but it won't show me that it is installed.

There's an exit to go there on the east side of the town.
The farm map you use doesn't matter.
(Farm maps conflict with cave and UI mods more than expansion mods.)
How come?
Well some farm maos have custom caves attached so other cave mods won't work.
Some farm maps do whole edits of font_bold and cursors instead of being modular which every UI mod needs to edit.
A lot work fine together. It's just a problem that can show up from time to time.

Might look at some of DaisyNiko's maps. I use Ace's Expanded Farms myself which has a lot of different maps. Some are quite big.
(I don't consider having a ton of space to plant or raise animals cheaty myself since you still have to work on clearing, building up, and planting all that land.)

yep better farm forage just makes it so that you get more spawns of fruit

there was a update i think you need to choose fruit to get the effect to work
but tl;dr it's FTM, so it's looking for specific tiles it can spawn on
okay so they went in their files to look for 'mail' and found it but the game says it doesn't exist

try deleting the file and then verifying the integrity again maybe. sometimes that works
