I've looked online and the issue seems to be related to Pytk, what's interesting though is that the current map I'm using is also using DaisyNiko's tilesheets, which I assumed to be one of the issues

Are you using the beta? I've used Daisy's four corners before and never had any issues with it, but I wasn't using the beta at the time. The unofficial beta PyTK is fucky at best, so it's causing a whole lotta random issues in mods that used to be perfectly fine

..Yeah Unofficial PyTK is horrible with the beta, so it's probably purely because of it. Not sure if it can be fixed fixed, but it's giving me multiple issues purely because it seems.. I guess unstable

It seems likely that your game won't be able to progress until you put that mod back, if you have any of those fences anywhere

It's mostly a question for PeacefulEnd though, Alternative Textures should probably handle that either way.
Also in other issues, DGA Farmer to Florist doesn't work for a variety of reasons, mostly being that it was sort of half converted by machine and then not tested
The fix is to revert 1 version back to JA version

it's caused by SVE in winter when you go outside. To fix it you can set "SeasonalEdits" to false in the SVE config. I would add a false dependency to LFM but this reverts all food items to vanilla in 1.5.4 (seems to work in 1.5.5. though)

Updating is a great first step and helps to narrow down the cause of your errors
You can prioritize code mods (listed in bold at the top of the log) and anything with a big version jump, i.e. The difference is is like 1.2.3 > 1.4.0

**SFS **restores EP only, **SNRRYB **restores EP and then HP, **SAR **restores HP+EP at the same time, and **LMR **restores EP only whenever you're not moving at all

if you're using SVE on your phone, keep it minimal haha
The PC versions are probably best for using a lot of mods simply because of the phone limits

Sometimes there were mods that for some reason lag your game so much but when you just change the place of the files it goes back to normal idk how it works but it just works
CP-A mods and SVE made it lag for me
also highlights are Alternative Textures, Sunny Crops, Diverse Stardew Valley, KAYA's mods, Strange Machines

Playing with SVE in Stardew Valley is similar to playing with Requiem on Skyrim. You have to make sure other mods are compatible with it

i made a really passive aggresive youtube video on how to fix an error with the mod manager because people wouldn't read the error message
the error message told you the fix, but they wouldn't take 10 seconds to do it.
I can understand not understanding the error messages and some people legit don't know anything about using their operating systems.

but you were also kind of on your own with a lot of things. Especially learning to make mods, you kind of needed to know a little of wht you were doing before jumping in. But, they also had a wiki that was around 300 pages of documentation on how to do various things with mods and people were making a ton of things you could use as reference
then everything changed when the Content Packs arrived
I think I see the issue! It seems a fence with an invalid whichType (but valid AT data) is being called to draw.
The patched draw method uses Fence.fenceTexture.Value to determine the size of the fence, which leads to the vanilla logic to call loadFenceTexture as the texture hasn't been loaded yet. This then causes the SContentLoadException error, as there are no vanilla assets that utilize Fence.whichType of 5572.
I'll remove the call to Fence.fenceTexture.value in AT, but I am unsure if that will fix their issue. At the very least it will make AT not responsible for it anymore

I remember similar issues with early Morrowind modding. The devs made it super easy for someone to make mods if you knew what you were doing, because they included their own tools with the game! ...except that meant stuff was all labelled for the dev team and it took a lot of poking to figure out their shorthand
also modding that game first taught me how to poke around in my system files, so that was cool
with Risk of Rain 2 you were expected to read the guide and go from there. but, mods were also a lot easier to make and publish in a short time because everything was built on Unity and everything was an object

You'll have to pay attention to whether they are compatible or not.
if it makes you feel better, stardew is really easy to run and can be played on nearly anything, though once you get a few mods it does make it much more difficult
I think Dec 2020 is the cutoff date if the mod description doesn't say it's still compatible or if there isn't a specific version for Android.

Basically, if a mod isn't working and there is no Android specific version, try the last release before Dec 2020 if there is one in the old files.

anything that relies on 1.5 features definitely won't work on Android, because 1.5 isn't out on Android yet. 1.5 came out late (27th?) Dec 2020. So mods before that point were building off game code that is very similar to the current Android game code. That's why those older versions are most likely to work

I kind of wonder if the mod using community would benefit from channels set up as a "Read Me First" type of guide/resource to help with the things we find ourselves repeating constantly.
The quotes and commands are useful but not exactly accessible to someone new to modding. Or for us more experienced folks to be honest. (Especially the quotes x_x)

so I have this weird thing where, if there's any chests, I press K, and I get a access to a special crafting menu, where I guess it's counting all of the chests on the map.

Ok so the mod I have that says how a person feels about the item your holding, but the bouquet is weird. It says a person will hate it, but when I give it to that same person that I have 8 hearts with, it works fine
My bet is the "bouquet" is listed as a hated gift, but special code catches it beforehand

Happens when you have your ui and zoom at different levels. The top one is overlapping with another mod, and can be disabled with the ui info suite config

Money is only 1 of the criteria for Marnie to deliver the first stray. That's a vanilla feature and is independent of Adopt n Skin

You do have to all have the same mods, so unless your friends use the same mods you'd want to turn them off
I'm lazy so I just rename my mods folder to "Mods (savename)"

Hey, can anyone help me? I've installed SVE, seasonal cute characters for SVE, medieval SVE and vibrant pastoral for SVE, changed the configs to fit what I wanted and when I went to play the game I noticed some stuff were invisible:

iirc, you have to force other mods to load after Lux's Food Mod 1.3.3
use a fake dependency to force everyone else to load afterwards

if there's a mod that's still using the old harmony is there an easy way to make it Harmony 2.0 compatible?
I think putting a "z" as the first letter of the other mod files may work too so that they load last.

I think it's actually the exact opposite: LFM needs to load last, so it needs to add fake dependencies to all other visual mods.
I've seen it work with adding false dependencies to Lux's

Pretty sure there are some recommended on SVE's mod page. I haven't used it for a long time so 
so.. for you and anyone else that wants to know. The fastest way to see what is known compatable with SVE is. Open up the SVE page on nexus. Open up the "required mods" section on the first page. Scroll down past that section and you will see this. Scroll down this page. Everything listed on this page is built to run with SVE, and therefor works perfectly well with it. Have fun.

I mean technically a lot of random mods are compatible unless there are known incompatibilities. Like just play with all the popular mods and it'll probably be fine.
There's only been a few mods that have real issues with SVE such as Magic having that one Wizard event
Schedule changes is probably the most obvious noncompatiablity issue
(SVE changes the map enough. But, like, often there's a toggle for that)

fwiw, a CP modification isn't too hard. You'd need to unpack the .xnb, the load in the .png using CP

and the other way is any File Explorer window (even the recycle bin) -> This PC on the side -> C -> Program Files -> Steam -> Steamapps -> Common -> Stardew Valley
you can use that second method to get to anything on your PC so it's a good thing to learn; it's only recently that being able to navigate folders like that stopped being one of the first things taught to computer users

open the Downloads folder in a new file explorer window, open the zips of the mods you downloaded, and drag the contents into the Mods folder
When you go to unzip, make sure you do not do "extract to -folder name-", do "extract here" instead, most people have a folder to put mod zips in to do this inside
hey sorry quick question, if you take the line out of the advanced launch options box on steam's properties, will the game just launch like regular? if that's the case can i use that to toggle the mods on and off if i wanted to play co-op with some buddies?
