Guys, both mods are already updated to the latest version but SMAPI logs keeps asking me to update them. Is this normal?
They probably have a mistkae in the update key
If you're 100% sure you have the latest version, then it's a typo in the version number in the manifest.json file. It happens and is harmless

If you want it to go away, you can manually update the version number in manifest.json yourself by opening it in a text editor like Notepad

Well, I just checked the latest version on Nexus, checked inside the Manifest and it says the version that is supposed to be. Everything is normal so idk now xD
By version on nexus, do you mean the version # in the nexus version? That's what it's comparing the manifest.json version # to

The log gives people more information than just errors. It tells us what mods you have installed and a bunch of other info useful for troubleshooting
i feel like its just a conflict between the game itself and the mod

I wanna say since it's talking about gameTime it may be timespeed being angry at the beta?
I use Time Multiplier (you use commands to change time, does it in a different way then timespeed) and that works for me (I'm also on beta).
So you could try putting the time back to normal, removing TimeSpeed, placing in Time Multiplier and see if maybe that error doesn't happen then?

I saw a mod a while back- can't seem to find it or anything similar now- that makes the community centre a more normal colour instead of gaudy purple?

"Way Back Pelican Town" changes the look of all town buildings. You may like it
i can't use that it conflicts with some of the texture mods i have including SDVE making lampposts glitch into buildings, onto people or just plain gone in a void

Everything is updated, even though Smapi says otherwise. It's litteraly unplayable. I did a new Testfarm and it works perfectly fine.

Several on nexus. I think one of the most popular is the seasonal garden farmhouse

it finally worked!! it was just the renaming that was missing, with it being named config-2.json the game automatically created a new config folder every time i started the game, renaming it did the trick! thanks!!!

Sometimes the number of mods doesn't matter. I have 460 or so. It depends on the type of mod, more. Ones like SVE or Ridgeside are going to take up more memory and power than ones like PPJA

You also have Get Glam and Customize Anywhere. I believe Get Glam is buggy atm. CustomizeAnywhere lets you use a mirror to change the appearance of your farmer, which I think means that you don't have to have GetGlam

I haven't used deluxe grabbers yet so idk about that, but I have used the trash thingies, furnaces and worm bins (15 in total?) and no automate lag for me (but it's on 36000). Just a slight stutter when it refills sometimes.
I need a bit of help with vortex; I try running Stardew Valley but all it does is say "Running" and after a few seconds it just stops. Nothing pops up.

Vortex is generally not recommended since it messes with mod files if not set up correctly (and I have no idea how you would set it up :(((()

No I don't think so. When I start a Farm and load in later I have 2 Files per safe file on the loading screen.

I just noticed that in one of the two files, my charakter has darker skin
yeah it won't cause problems, bc smapi turns them both "off" I believe. you can either remove one or the other, or see which mod touches the same component the other does and remove it from either of them. xp

It's because you're on the Beta. Check the posts section on Nexus for instructions on how to get the beta version of East Scarpe (which is itself a beta)

hi me again i'm teaching some friends how to download mods and apparently his video card is blocking (Rx580MD) i was saying i had to configure it on MSI afterburn(google translate)

the reason it gives you a compat error is because android doesn't have 1.5 yet, and most things updated AFTER december 20th are for 1.5 (usually). what you need to do is find out what the latest working version of smapi is for android, download that, and get any mod updates PRIOR TO december 20th.
the only big errors i see are the duplicates of underwater cove, custom companions (probably needs to be updated) and HWMUH just needs a newer smapi version
medieval craftables broke because your content patcher doesnt support past 1.19.0, so you'd have to download an older version of it
or just change the manifest to say 1.19

QF 1.4 version isn't maintained and the author says its super buggy, so iiiiii don't really know what to tell u about that ๐ญ

Yeah. QF is really mad at me and I only updated to incompatible versions because SMAPI said that was an issue. My shoes became seeds and I was walking over my couch, so I figured I'd try updating.

You can set one mod to load before a specific other mod by adding a dependency into the manifest
If Mod A depends on Mod B, Mod B must logically load first

Hello, is there a mod out there that improves the relationships between the NPCs? It just feels so strange that I always see all of them together in events but there's rarely a meaningful interaction between them... 
They just feel really disconnected to each other... Anybody else feel the same??

Technically speaking that would be very difficult to accomplish...
There are several instances where other characters will mention a heart event that they participated with the player and character in question, if that counts.
But no, I don't believe there is anything of the sort as a mod.

Although, I think Stardew Valley Expanded does fix a good portion of that with new dialogue. Plus it is new characters, if that's a plus.
Only downside is that it wouldn't make it vanilla anymore considering the amounts of changes.

Most of the NPC to NPC friendships are between men and women...
Kind of like in HM Cute where Muffy (a girl like Haley) calls the rest of the girls in town and talk about hair and makeup because she had a bad hair day

If you don't already have it, get UI Info Suite 2 from the mod author's Github. Make sure you download the Release and not the source code. The version on nexus is not supported anymore

PPJA in particular converted programmatically and I think there are some issues as a result
DGA is stable I guess in that it wonโt break anything afaik but it does have a couple bugs.

Oh, isn't that for uh.. The device not having an audio thing enabled or something like that? Obamoose is usually the one who can easily pick up on those issues and knows how to fix them

Hi. My game is super glitchy and I don't know what to do.

I don't know of any maple-themed ones but you can always come over to #making-mods-general and try making your own!
There are a variety of recipe mods generally but they mostly add a lot of recipes with no particular theme from what I've seen.
I also love maple syrup despite having no connection to Canada or anything, so if you do develop one I would be curious!
I am like low-key developing a mod that will have recipes so I will be investigating these mechanics at some point and would be happy to help troubleshootโDGA currently is probably the best way to add recipes imo but may have a few quirks to iron out still.
Yeah, I noticed it just seems to normally be a ton of recipes at once, not always including a list of them either. Unfortunately I am not at all familiar with programming but if anyone who is a modder is interested I can share some recipes for sure.
I think maybe you need to use older quest framework and/or NPC Adventures.
So i notice that if a config file has an invalid hotkey assigned it throws an error in smapi, but does it actually cause any problems or can that just be ignored?
It might not work right if there's no hotkey assigned but if it's not crashing or anything you could just ignore

Uninstalling mods from the mods folder is the best way to "disable" them, might not even be another way as far as I know

If you're not interested in trying UI Info Suite 2, you can uninstall SMAPI. If you use Steam, you'll also need to reset the Steam launch options

Since I see mod crops I'll just ask you. Do you know if crops added with JA can cause issues if added to a not fresh save? I heard some stuff about JA shuffles but I'm not sure what exactly that is lol
Yes it can, but it's not guaranteed
usually anything that effects the game that much you'd want to make a fresh save for
not saying that it's needed though
The JA shuffle is when you add / remove JA mods to an existing save. Sometimes JA scrambles the IDs, and so existing JA items can turn to other ones

I personally take screenshots of my chests, then add / remove the JA mod(s) I wanted, then trash the shuffled / scrambled items and spawn in new ones, using the screenshots as reference

discord does effect it because stardew valley 1.5.4 is a 32-bit program so it has to share a relatively small amount of memory with all other 32-bit programs running on that computer at once - and discord is also 32-bit

@naive drum different 32-bit processes do not share a 32-bit address space.
That is technically how 16-bit processes sometimes worked when being run on 32-bit Windows, but is not how 32-bit processes work.
Help, my mod is not loading, it said that I need to update smapi but I have the newest version.
32-bit processes have 32-bit pointer widths, and thus can only address a 32-bit address space. They all have their own address space, though (unless the kernel is weird and gives them the same address space, but I don't know why it would do that)
running Discord wouldn't impact other 32-bit programs unless SDV was loading in a DLL related to discord.
(All 32-bit programs on your computer also need to share that 3GB block, so the game may have access to much less than 3GB.) who the heck wrote that on the wiki

On Android you'll be using older version of SMAPI and other mods since you have an older version of the game
That means you may have to live with update notifications that don't apply to you, until Android is on the same game version as PC/Mac/Linux
Oh I misremembered, your issue is you have a version of a mod that's too high for Android and is referring to a later version of SMAPI

Someone on the mod page had the same error and the author couldn't figure it out it seems.
I assume it's a problem caused by something added with another mod. But I'm not sure.

probably should have mentioned this before void, hitting F3 does do something, just something from another mod i think. Dont know which one. It makes a grid to see tiles. ill screenshot to show what i mean.

no worries, you usually don't need to add commas in configs. Automate is a special case
I don't know how to fix your issue, but Save Anywhere causes a lot of things to break so it's not recommended to use it. It would also help others help you troubleshoot if you provided a log

Unfortunately I think CP mods that change your kiddos assume you don't have 5 clones

I think Multiple Spouses just provides an option in the config to change kid appearance
yeah MS is just "kid has spouse hair" so it'd still be clones

Ah. I think that's a toughie in this case since you have Multiple Spouses multiplying your babies :c but the mod author aedenthorn has a Discord server so you could try asking there!

Not necessarily. If the mods are just retextures / visual changes or dialog mods, they only affect the player who has the mods installed

do you know anything about the "no transitions" mod? like would that effect other players? or would that just be a me thing
if you don't it just removes the black fade away in between areas
I think that's a code mod so I think that would probably need to be installed by everyone, and even then, idk if it'd work. You could check the mod descriptions and comments and see if anyone mentioned multiplayer
