i had thought to upload my log regarding it before when it happened, but when it had happened i forgot and launched the game before remembering, purging the log lmao

Makes sense. Older one has confusion between "World coordinates" and "UI coordinates", so it might be retrieving a Null
buying items from vendors have never been a problem... except for the desert trader, where it always crashes if you try to use stacksplitx functions lmao
which makes sense of a sort, since he doesn't use gold, and maybe stacksplitx wasn't programmed to accomodate trade that involves items
at least. that was how it was back in 1.4

also, there have been cases where i've tried ignoring the error, and the game abandons trying to use the stacksplitx function, saving me from a crash
there are also some cases where i couldn't ignore it, though
where trying to ignore simply replicates the error
kind of vague, i know, but without the logs it's a bit hard to tell exactly what was going on lmao
yeah this one's remade, not just grabbing the old one's source code
there are changes in the code, quite extensive ones. including some more helpful instrumentation
so if you crash, I can know almost exactly where that happens ๐

Im sure that this is the correct place for this, but Im not sure where else to go or where to post this. My computer was having issues, because it is oldish and second hand. So, I did a factory reset. However, when i re dl'd the game and the mods I was using I ended up with some issues that I dont know how to fix. I believe that I have all the same mods that i had. So, Im not sure what caused the issue.
When I loaded the game, my buildings, chests and random things in my farm were everywhere including on water. It took me a very long time to find my greenhouse and 2 barns. I have things rearranged, but I still have a couple of problems...
Fish council. I think Gervig the Magnificient made our fish animations and Lemur added them to the sheet. I'm practically useless because I have the brain capacity of a can of Joja Cola

ok so, me and my friend play on a modded multiplayer savefile, with mods like SVE etc. But sometimes a bug happens where when my friend enters the forest, the loading screen freezes. this bug happens happens about 4 in game days after a reset and only gets fixed if I (I am the Host) rejoin the world again. and well, this is his smapi log https://smapi.io/log/7d8abebeaba3473ead936ae4b22e8050

put the SDV folder directly into C:\Spiele\ and remove the unecessary subfolders

Hey folks, I remember running across a mod that allowed you to use tools on horseback, but foolishly didn't grab it, and now I'd like it since my brother and I plan on playing a mod farm that's pretty large, so in combination with Easier Stables, I'd like a sufficient motivation to rush getting a horse early so I can do my chores around my farm quicker.
If anyone knows it and can tell me, would be greatly appreciated.

it looks like you might've made a fairly common mistake and edited the ConfigSchema part of the content.json, instead of the separate config.json file? either that or author goofed

yeah, to choose a type there's a separate file that should be created the first time you run the game with the mod--try to delete and reinstall the cellar mod, run the game once, and there should be a file named config.json in the folder after that

in general, as a casual mod user, the only file you should be making edits to is the one named config.json
yup, unless you actually know what you're doing, you should not touch content.json files, since they are the ones responsible for the mod working
and it's pretty easy to break them 
Oddly, I can't seem to find the furniture mod in question
the stuff that's at the top of the content.json where it says ConfigSchema is what tells content patcher what the options in that config.json file should be, changing them won't actually change the config haha
the furniture mod is the house plants one, if that helps

As far as I can tell, if it's something you're asking about in this channel, there's a 98% chance it needs SMAPI (and if it doesn't, folks will tell you why it's a bad idea to use it and point you to the version of the mod that does need SMAPI)

you shouldn't uninstall, and it should work when following the instructions page 
I put the Stardew64Installer in the 64-bit directory and then I ran SMAPI in that too
Part of my issue is with Steam - even with the command properly updated, if I launch from Steam, it launches the regular game instead of the 64-bit version it's redirected to.
That's where the launch options are for 
I know. The launch option is set to the 64-bit folder it doesn't launch it properly.

i have a couple mod options that try to modify the shipping bin, but there's a graphical error that seems to pop up with both. anyone have experience with this? here's what it currently looks like, the mod currently being used to show the glitch is Flowery Bin

if it's happening with separate shipping bin mods (installed separately) you might have some other recolour mod that's causing a compatibility problem though

but in this case, it's really not needed. That message isn't an error, just FTM letting you know "hey, we're not gonna do anything with these because we can't find them"

i wanted to collect the 640 wine that i had put into the iridium kegs from the CFR mods before deleting the mods and installing PFM
but then i wait for 2 in game weeks and nothing happened
so i had to give up and just accept that i lost 640 AF to glitched kegs

i rotated a chair and it became a seed maker 
that's normal if you spawn it with CJB
there's a furniture version and a craftable version that's for decorating the town
so it's two different items

yeah, if it uses EditData then renaming the folder to start with a Z would put it after everything else
so, in theory, renaming "[CP] Unsettling Descriptions" to "Ze [CP] Unsettling Descriptions" should work
looking through the cjb item spawner, it looks like all the ||ginger island|| fish are shuffled, all the crops and their seeds(and i can't plant them as a result as the game seems to think they're fish), and a bunch of the artifacts as well
and that will be the thing that takes visual priority over other things that fool with the item descriptions
the artifacts i can still donate, not being able to plant the seeds is a big problem
- if it uses Load, and i can't remember if it does, then it'd just put it after all the other stuff that uses Load
@tired brook User above me has a bizarre error with lategame vanilla content appearing to be affected by the Json Shuffle or something else related, locking them out of basegame content.

Poe, it's not the admin thing that's the issue; the error is an Invalid API error in Custom Music + Generic Mod Config Menu.

Saving can take a little bit, with large mod loadouts it can take multiple minutes, and the game doesn't respond to input while saving - some computers think this means it's frozen
I've did the same thing I did when it crashed, now it didn't crashed... strange...

Man, I knew Pathos updated a bunch of space's stuff yesterday because I had it installed. I didn't think to check the other stuff that had been updated. Pushing 550 mods now (decided Grampleton Fields will not be re-installed until the next ContentPatcherAnimations update, since a post from Pathos says the incompatibility there will be fixed)
it's probably what wingheart said then! if you alt-tab while it's trying to save with a lot of mods, or click something else, the game sometimes freezes and does that "not responding" thing
SMAPI at least gives you update alerts!
If you have "Pause When Game Window Is Inactive" unchecked, it handles alt-tabbing midsave fine!

Under slingshot fire mode, gamepad mode, etc
and above multiplayer and advanced crafting info
once unchecked, you can alt-tab out while the game is loading or saving and it'll just keep going in the background
that said, if it does the not responding thing, it will usually snap out of it within a minute or two
Depending on how many mods you're running. My game has about a 10-minute initial load time (possibly longer)

I'm assuming no one has yet managed something to pull all custom inputs so you can see if you have any keybind overlaps?

Oh, anyone happen to have an idea when the Extended Unrated Abigal mod might be available again? I wanted to start from scratch when I moved to 64-bit, didn't anticipate some of my mods would be hidden.

interesting note... after updating my mods ginger seems to work again; that is, it's not json shuffled, although i still get the "no idea what "ginger" is!" message from SMAPI

i don't know yet, just that ginger seems to work at the moment. i also loaded a very old save

I haven't personally played with Lunna, but I did glance through her code without seeing any issue. But if she's been updated recently I have to take another look to be sure.
