Yes, ok, but did you check the save file with a text editor or no?
You need to open your save file in your favorite flavor of text editor (I like notepad++ but whatever is fine.) Then do a search for that monster name.

Can you remove everything except SMAPI? If you’re using NMM you can just create a new profile.

Try without Vortex. Vortex makes things so much harder when modding Stardew for some reason

Thanks, similar to what I did on Android except I just renamed folders, trying not to use extra hdd space and for now NMM is working for me, even if it is annoying after just doing it manually.
Nonono, it's not incompatible, it just doesn't hook in. I know for a fact there's a way to add the prismatic sprinkler to the sprinkler mod's UI, but you need the sprinkler's item ID to do so
I do that on Android, I just already had NMM on pc. If it weren’t for the handy multiplayer profile and the fact it doesn’t require duplicating files I’d go back.

I Just looked in the JA folder of one of my save files, and I think there are item IDs in the files there

Are you looking for an item ID number? Mod items only use names, only vanilla items have numbers.

None, but manually making multiple mod folders that contain the same mods is. Vortex or NMM or w/e uses sym links, so there is only one copy of the actual data on your HDD.
Okay, I put the ToDew folder (unzipped) in the mods folder, and now I can see the to-dew list on my screen, but when I press L (to open the list modification UI) nothing happens.
I checked and it's not tied to any other actions, L is an open hotkey
But I can't figure out why it's not working.

Before you do that, update anything that needs it and test again.
And don’t reuse updates already downloaded, download them again.
Well the updates I have are version mismatches due to the mod authors not updating the manifest.jsons

I fixed the issue with FTM

The current update is 1.1.3.
They most likely have 1.1.2.
I fixed the issue with FTM not spawning the monsters because I was under the presumption CP would convert the map names universally, but that isn't how it works. So I changed all the map names to the new CP format and everything worked again.
They did have 1.1.2
Yea, there was a log earlier.
Although in 1.1.3 I didn't change the manifest.json version number.
I'll be releasing a 1.1.4 update in a bit to fix the horse path being blocked.

Depending on what you need it for, Time Speed, CJB Cheats, or just using the SMAPI console commands.
Android is in a bit of a weird place. You may need an earlier version for it to work.

Not a definitive problem, but would be a good place to check.
@sick oxide do you have a working audio device? ie, laptop speakers, headphones, or speakers plugged into a PC? if it is still crashing after verifying this may be the issue. if it's a diff error we need a new log please!

XNA, the framework SDV uses, needs an active audio device to work. it can be muted but stuff like bluetooth headphones dying or not having a speaker plugged into a PC can cause that error

Try it with a new save though; it's not worth trying to adapt an existing save. Sooooo much is changed in SVE.

Key is to check the weather. When it says rain tomorrow, water all your crops, take the can to be upgraded, and pick it up the day after.

Android does not have smapi 3.8.0 yet and answering earlier, I already followed the set of instructions
One thing I have found is that when playing with android the best way is to look for cp conversions

When you’re downloading mods for Android you want to goto the files tab of the mods, and then scroll down to “Old Files”. Select sort by date uploaded, and ascending then scroll down till you find the most current version released prior to Dec 21 2020.
That’s the date 1.5 came out, most mod updates after that are not compatible with 1.4.5.
But wont the smapi later say "it is no longer compatible"?
Yes, you need to delete those three mods from your mod folder and redownload them from the provided links.

And again, I’d recommend getting rid of custom furniture, and anything that relies on it. There are CP alternatives to most of it anyways and it’s broken on Android.

But that’s the date you don’t want to go past, 12.21.2020, you almost always want the latest version prior to that date.

There are a few exceptions, where the mod author has a specific Android version, like Seasonal Garden Farmhouse V2
For that specifically there is an Android version listed at the top of the files page with edits specific to Android compatibility.
There are a few others, and if the author has an Android version it will usually be mentioned on the description page, and separate on the files.

Has anyone had a problem with farmhands getting a glitch with the community center/joja? We have the same mods, I don't think added any since it looked fine and when it started glitching, and it started I think in year 2? I don't have a picture of the joja one atm but it's worse than these 😂

From the looks of it your farmhand has conflicting CP building mods, or maybe installed an old XNB

I’m not super hopeful it will, but easiest fixes first and it’s good to have that updated anyways. Really thing it’s conflicting CP, had a very similar issue with Wayback and Medieval town mods.
