You can, but your buildings, etc, etc, will be in different places so you might need NoClip to get them
With only buildings, you should be fine. I'd make a back up of your save just in case, regardless 🙂

Uhm... probably? Otherwise you'll have grass in the water probably. If you have NoClip you can do that later, where it's actually out of place

@silk elk you can find it by first checking the release date of smapi 3.7.6, then getting a version of ui info suite that was released before a new smapi version was released after 3.7.6

i'm trying to use the part of it that lets you adjust the aging time. from my understanding, you input the items ID number between quotations, then a colon, then a custom rate. but i'm not sure if that's right
the config file just says that as well
well not that, but it has extra settings in it. the mod author split up the stuff between folders
the format is shown in the mod description { "342": 2.66, "724": 2.0, "350": 1.0, "-6": 4.0, "Oil": 1.66 }, the aging rates are the unquoted numbers. the content pack template folder doesn't work unless you move it into your Mods folder i'd suppose
and even then you'd have to edit the manifest.json file a bit it seems
removing the dependencies block probably is enough

Hey Peaceful, I have a question about your new ring mod. I use a mod that changes how rabbits look. Will it affect the ring one too or is that different?
In truth so far the only thing I could say for improvement is maybe letting players mark more than one day for trawling, but I'm sure that's intended lol. I do really enjoy this mod though, one of the few that brings a little bit more spice to Stardew Valley.

Yeah I'm pretty set on only allowing one day a week for balancing reasons. But the next update will have Murphy appear on ||Ginger Island|| on a different date (that the player can also customize), so it will be available up to twice a week.

I would not recommend doing that honestly, since the Switch does not have all mods available and not everyone has the ability to add mods to the Switch.

You wouldn't have to. You could just start Stardew Valley's .exe file to play unmodded.
Just make sure to make a shortcut onto your desktop and name it something like "Stardew Valley (Unmodded)" or something like that so you know which is which.

It does not do anything to the mod managers. All that happens is that you're loading Stardew Valley without mods.
It's basically a cheap hack to make him look like he has vanished.
I was gonna do something similar myself except I realized you could propose to it/gift it.

second problem is trying to find a PyTK version thats up to date
third issue is that my screen is flickering, thats kind of the most annoying to me right now.

@wise carbon It seems like you might have a mod that's adding an item that you already have, although I wouldn't know what that would mean. Other than that it can not apply the patch for Immersive Farm 2 because it seems one of the images is not a proper size.

so today i decided to stop useing vortex and manually download all the mods and now smapi is only noticeing like 7 out of my 83 mods do i need to do something to make it re look at the mod list

You're welcome. As for the ones that say they're not SMAPI mods, I would think that they're not in the proper folders for them to work as mods. That's the only thing that comes to mind.

The Content folder has a file meant to replace one in your actual Content folder.

@atomic bear it is to do with your farm map changing the forest warps to access SVEs old maps but they have now been renamed. Alas this has broken every single farm map edit that had been set with sVE comaptiblity.

Well, I wound up deleting everything because I was dumb enough to give vortex another shot, so I’m starting the mod installs and do it manually.
one is to find all the ForestWest, BlueMoonVineyard and other SVE map links and change them to Custom_ForestWest and Custom_BlueMoonVIneyard

the other is to merely change the "HasMod:FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP" to something that doesn't exist like "HasMod:FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP123" which means it won't activate those warp overrides. Because I am pretty sure SVE appends the warps now so it won't break anymore with custom farm maps

Hello! I don't know if this has been asked already or not but i've been meaning to add mods to my game when i finish my perfection world.. The problem i have though is that i dont want the mods to affect all my saves/worlds and i guess im asking if that is possible to do? Can i have mods only on one save/world and that my other worlds stay default or is that not possible to do? Thank uu in advance <3
you would likely have to know exactly what mods you're adding to a particular save, and take them out when you're planning to play different saves

If you want to play "vanilla" (no mods) on some of your games, you just load the game normally. For the modded games, load with SMAPI.
If you're on Steam, this will require changing the loading path. But if you have GOG, just use the other shortcut.

You can have an empty Mods folder like Mods (empty hehe) that way you can still launch with SMAPI. The reason I say that is if you're using Steam, you'd have to reset the Steam launch options every time you wanted to play with no mods, if you want to still get achievements

i've been attempting to download the 64 bit smapi. i followed all the instructions but the game refused to boot up, it would show the command prompt for a few seconds beforevanishing

The glitches are on community center, the bundles are being completed before we donate any items, some bundles has only 4 items to donate and it has 6 spots open, some has 4 items to donate and has only 2 spots to put items when it should be all 4, it’s taking a long time to load screens, to pick items up like woods when you cut a tree, it takes a while to come to the pocket whatever it’s on the floor

You can just delete the NPC now. There's an error handler mod packaged in with SMAPI that fixes the save for you. Or, at least, that's what happened when I removed an NPC

Ah okay, it's not in that log you sent so I was unsure. Most people who get that problem seem to get it fixed when adding that map mod on top of NPC Map Locations

Rename [CP] Kelly's Flower Dance Attire to zz [CP] Kelly's Flower Dance Attire and see if that works. The other way was adding whatever mod was overwriting it as a dependency to Flower Dance but since you don't know what one is doing it, try the first option before you go 50/50 your mods anymore

Just remember to keep all your files in one location. I have a Tiled folder in my Modding folder (not Stardew Valley, but general modding, it's where I keep mods for all sorts of games 🤣)
