i checked the actual mod folder of stardew and portraiture isn't there
even tho i installed it through vortex
... remove the portraiture mod out of vortex
this one needs to be manually placed into the mod folder

and second, better get a portraiture mod, cuz you have cp portrait limits

For patch summary you need the console commands mod. Reinstalling SMAPI should re-add that mod

@peak fulcrum if the mod uses the standard smapi way for keybindings, you can put "None" to disable it. the mod might not load at all if it doesn't accept it so it's good to check the console after changing it

I need some help setting up the mod(s). So not all my mods work for Stardew Valley. I installed 8, and only 1 of them, the Spa mod where the bathhouse is replaced with a spa, worked (I installed them through Vortex). Well, I say only 1 of them because I haven't been able test all of them to see if it worked. So far, the NPC map mod, the tractor mod, and the Multiple Spouses mod has yet to work although I am using the latest version of SMAPI and Vortex says the mods are activated. I also went on Steam and verified the integrity of game files. How do I make all my mods work?

Hmm, I don't know about vortex, but usually it's really easy if you just do it manually, unzipping everything into your mod folder.

If you do it manually, the only thing you should have to install by running an exe of any kind is SMAPI.
Everything else is jsut extracting zips or rars into your mods folder.
And then running the game through SMAPI.

smapi is normally able to deal with the removal of custom npcs
if youre trying to remove a custom npc named veronica she's there to replace robin at the carpentry shop when you marry her

I uninstalled the mod, removed smapi, validated files on steam, and uninstalled/reinstalled stardew valley
you're loading the save with smapi still i assume?
i wonder if the save cleaning functionality is now on the error handler mod that comes with smapi (but wasn't in your mod list)

Hello, I need help? I'm trying to get the craft master achievement and I've made everything atleast once or more. I double, triple checked through everything but somehow it's not working?
I started my save file on my phone, did a lot of achievements then I transfered it over to pc. Did some achievements unmodded, until I moved to modded. Does mods have anything to do with it?

I get like 127 errors when i try and load my modpack and i tried everything to resolve it but they just wont go away, does someone know how to fix it?

Oh, yeah, if you haven't played since 1.3 I think changing only things like textures is a great idea.
There's so much exciting new content, but it's also nice to have new colors to stare at. π And I love having the seasonal outfits, too.
Question: Does DSV have a discord channel?
My stuff is getting offset slightly, i think its the UI info suite mod that has these features? This also applies to the in-inventory calendar/notice board, i have to click slightly to the left to access it

@chilly swallow If you're using Automate or Deluxe Auto-Grabber Redux then it would explain your lag. I've got lag that no one can explain, especially since there's no errors in SMAPI to show for it. I believe it's these two because I used one of my previous saves that didn't have as many Auto-Grabbers on the map as I do now in-game and it made a massive difference.
right now I'm starting a new save, nothing actually out yet, but still massive lag spikes, and cutting down trees makes it lag as well
Hey folks, got a question! I was thinking of installing a mod that makes the community center bundles harder/more varied, which sounds great but Iβd like the rewards faster than finishing the bundles (Iβm thinking of them as an all-game quest and Iβd prefer to have the rewards faster than that)
I know I can trigger the reward upgrades with CJBCheatsMenu, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any reason I shouldnβt do that, such as crashes or buggy behavior. Alternatively, if anyone has a mod that specifically unlocks rewards separate from the community center requirements, Iβd like that. Iβm just looking for the most stable option for what Iβm trying to do.
Pretty much what I want is unlocking the rewards like the greenhouse and minecarts and bus within a generally normal vanilla timeframe, meanwhile doing the CC bundles at a more relaxed pace than that, ie over a couple years

Huh, that's an interesting idea. My first thought is you could combine a joja route (money for rewards) with something else to do the bundles (like a series of advanced requests), but I know of nothing that already does that.
Naturally you could just make your own bundles; put some chests in a forest and fill them up accordingly, but that's probably not as fun.
What I was thinking was, I was going to have a chest on my farm dedicated to the vanilla bundles and just βfulfillβ them in that chest, and then when the bundle is βdoneβ iβll just unlock the corresponding reward. That way the community center itself is untouched.
Iβm just worried unlocking the stuff outside of the actual community center prompt will cause some bugs.
Why not back up your saves, then do a test with the cheats and see how it goes?
Since you're just testing, you could go to sleep at 6:10am if you need to go forward a few days.
In order to test that, think I should do the following:
- Wait til Lewis unlocks the community center, do the wizard thing to understand the junimo, get the bundles going
- Once the bundles are able to be fulfilled, unlock the rewards with the cheats menu
- fulfill bundles in the CC after that to see if it makes a big mess
Sounds like a good plan to me

Depends on what you consider QOL vs cheating. SOme people can't live without automate, others think it's OP
And if your farm is "normal" size or huge, in which case you'll def want the tractor

I was going to note the words exception, reference, instance, and object from the log.
I think this is Portuguese, but the error seems to be from SpaceCore, related to to the Load Game Menu, but idk what's causing the error. SpaceCore is a C# SMAPI mod so if reinstalling the mod doesn't fix it, the mod author usually needs to get involved o~o
But yea they left the server, that's why their name is white

I haven't, but did you check the mod description? Mod authors usually include where the NPC hangs in the description

I started the game and it did not run smapi. So I went back to my files to run the installer again to get the %appdata% thing to set it on Steam properties

Just to cross this off the list, can you run the installer but select 2 for uninstall, let it do its thing. Then when it's done, run the installer and select 1 to install?

When you install SMAPI, it creates a Mods folder. If it's not there, SMAPI may not have installed properly

They don't specify the full path because it varies depending on whether or not you're using Steam, and if you are using Steam, you could have it in a different drive

Thena, you can, and you may be interested in mod groups. If you rename it, you'll have to do a couple extra steps so SMAPI knows where to look for your mods

I don't think there is a pattern
Couple things:
- the red errors say certain mods couldn't be installed because you're missing mods. Those are listed as ModAuthorName.ModName. I'm not sure you have all the components of SVE installed. Check the SVE install guide here and make sure you follow every step: https://github.com/FlashShifter/StardewValleyExpanded/wiki/Install-guide
For the other mods you're missing, you can search by the mod name on nexus. - Entoarox Modding Utilities (EMU) can be uninstalled. You don't have anything that requires it.
- Extended Minecart's mod author doesn't specifically support SVE compatibility, so use with caution if you keep it.
can you run the bat file from a terminal (cmd or powershell)?

Did you confirm you installed SVE per the install guide? I think you're missing SVE components.
Uninstalling and reinstalling will not affect your progress as long as you don't load and save in between the uninstall and reinstall steps.
I installed it from nexus. that's when I got all of the required mods

you can safely ignore the skipped mods
the manifests for some of the SVE components just have some bad update keys it looks like
or SMAPI is having problems parsing them if they are valid

cuz, sve has its own... so you got to remove that
so, if you are using another mods, like Mr Ginger and need the npc location, just get the custom npc location one since sve already had the original installed itself

they are on the "files" tab of nexus, under "optional files"
select either Immersive Farm Reloaded 2 or Grandfather's Farm
and then download and install those IN ADDITION to the SVE you already have

No I don't think so. It seemed like it was fine until I would try to go to different locations in the game then it would show me nothing but a black screen and close me out giving me a message that my game crashed

I was playing multiplayer with friends, no mods besides SVE that alter crops.
At the end of one day I noticed 'Joja Veggies' were the only item in the shipping tally. Didn't know what they were at the time but I knew it wasn't something we had grown.
Asked my friend what he had sold and he told me he thinks it was supposed to be a batch of garlic, but wasn't certain.

If it was an existing save that you added sve to, you have to do something to refresh the maps iirc. There should be a minecart there, at least after you get the message that it's been opened.
er... no it was definitely a new save after sve
I can't remember if the tracks are there before you get that message and associated cutscene, or not
I had installed the immersive farm after sve, so I had created a new save file

hi, i'm really new to modding, sorry if this is a stupid question. i'm trying to convert an old xnb mod for personal use and i was wondering if it's possible to convert select files at a time rather than unpacking the entire content folder? i'm using the stardewxnbhack.
would it be as easy as just emptying out the content folder and leaving it with just the desired files?
