I already did the content-file reset through Steam, and did the uninstall-reinstall for SMAPI and the mods that were throwing errors. I'm not worried about losing progress - I'm doing a new run, and I backup my saves regularly ;-). I don't have any XNB mods; I've avoided them like the plague since Content Patcher came out because CP is awesome incarnate.

yes, all (?) visual mods should be compatible with sve and ridgeside. and ridgeside and sve are highly compatible.

as a result you have to learn what will and wont get you quickly to the ends you want. And then if it's right for your character to do so. This is why the game has such great repeatability

There were OOM errors at first, but then I got rid of a mod or two which wasn't working great with the rest and disabled preloading from custom music packs it was better. (I'm sure SMAPI updates helped too)
There is great talk and some definite working happening to take the pc game to 64 bit soon. I'm so excited by the possibilities

I was trying to compile aseprite into 32 bit for my old PC since i already had 64bit but kept having issues. It was the primary reason I installed VS
Turns out its not as easy as I thought so i removed
Right now there's just like a bit of .net you have to download which let's you put in a command to download the linux version of SV using your steam account, then you just have to run a program which patches the included exe into a working 64bit exe

I tried moving the download file to the game folder, as the warnings suggested that there aren't any window files it could direct to.

It's been like this ever since I updated my mods from the list of the mods that needed updating
ah, i see your problem. the installer even says what's wrong
when you unzip your mods, you're leaving them in the folder you downloaded from nexus, which has a bunch of numbers in it. that combined with the fact that some of your mods have several subfolders means that the folder paths are too long for windows to read
that's what "some of its files exceed the maximum Windows path length" in the error message means
Ohhhh, I thought it was smapi's folders.
you need to take those mods out of the folders with the long string of numbers, that will fix it

Oh but I do have one more problem.
I don't have artisan valley mod anymore, but that's what's showing up.
the error message tells you which folders are too long, but you should pull them all out just in case
that looks like garden village, not artisan valley
garden village has patches for artisan valley, maybe that's what you're seeing
your mods folder right now will look like this:
Mod1-1234-5678-9012-3456
Mod2-1234-.....```
you need to go into each one of the folders that looks like that and drag the first folder inside of it back out into Mods, so instead it looks nice and clean like
Mod1
Mod2....```
some of those folders will have subfolders like [CP] Mod, [JA] Mod, [PFM] Mod etc, you can leave those inside of the main folder with the mod's name
but it should all look like Garden Village, not Garden Village-27843848387483
for example, this is what my mods folder looks like

it's not required to take those folders out, but as you've seen, it can save you some trouble because you do run up against the "path too long" error from windows

nope, don't rename them, just double click the folder with all the numbers and drag what's inside into Mods
inside of Garden Village-16237658327 should be a folder named Garden Village, you want that one in Mods. then delete the empty one with the numbers

No, keep CP and Pytk themselves, but remove the CP version of the mod. You'll get portraiture and then install the portraiture version into portraiture itself (I think that's how portraiture does it anyways, it's one of the few that works like that)
Yeah, you just make a folder of whatever name in '<sdvfolder>/Mods/Portraiture/Portraits/' and then drop the files in there.

Just go right on and install. SMAPI automatically uninstalls the old files
Apply it, and now when you launch the game it will launch through SMAPI and load your mods. You install mods by extracting them and putting them into the mods folder.

tehre are mods that give them more dialogue but not ones that give them more than one conversation a day. That can however be remedied by giving them locational dialogue as well as daily dialogue.

That's why I use cbj cheats to freeze time, and save anywhere to save my progress without finishing the day

When I try to change false to true and load the save, the game crashes to the menu

SVE is working probably, what's the problem in game? Only problems in this log is that Get Dressed is no longer compatible, and you should have replaced it with Customize Anywhere + Get Glam + Json Assets. Shirts-1128 isn't a SMAPI mod either. And you have two mods trying to load Gunther so neither will be loaded so you have to pick one
Should also update your mods. Most problems come from out of date content ๐

MOD LIST
I'm just trying to unpack the entire content folder, which is what I think StardewXnbHack is capable of. I've followed the instructions on the wiki to a T.
StardewXnbHack is an open-source and crossplatform tool for unpacking XNB files. It can't pack files back into .xnb, but you rarely need to.
Here's how:
1. Install SMAPI.
2. Download StardewXnbHack. (Make sure you download the file for your OS, such as StardewXnbHack-*-for-windows.zip, not the source code!)
3. Unzip the download into your game folder, so StardewXnbHack.exe is in the same folder as StardewValley.exe.
4. Double-click StardewXnbHack.exe (on Windows), StardewXnbHack.sh (on Linux), or StardewXnbHack.command (on MacOS) to unpack your game's entire Content folder.
And I still end up with that error.

Just trigger the evaluation before going to bed, close the game after it saves, and then remove the mod. And the vanilla evaluation will play out in the morning when you load your save.

I know if you use the trash can in the CJB Item Spawner menu then you can delete, though I doubt you want to install a mod just to delete the item
you can also put it in a chest that'll be unavoidable by an npc and i think it'll delete it
the frogs are working fine
I think 1.5 makes any items in chests that NPCs destroy pop out on the floor

Yes, but the first thing is asking to select a JSON format.

Reason I'm saying that it's because you will get things like "Cooked 80 out of 83 recipes, may have more", but the remaining recipes will be something like "Banana Pudding + X more recipes from mods", even after you removed said mods
So if you start the game with 400 extra recipes and then remove all the mods later, the game will still expect you to cook all those 400 extra recipes

I deleated the old file compleately but I did Copy my old config setting's to just paste into the new file cause it's a lot

You can search replace Patchmode with PatchMode to fix most of them. just a capitalization error

what are your suggestions for mods that help create new gameplay after hitting perfection?

Makes farming more interesting (or challenging) by introducing compost which is required for plants to grow properly, pests that kill your crops, and positive traits that your crops can gain.
and added in better mixed seeds, better panning (which allows you to pan for seeds), set the max amount of seeds to get from that to one, and used cjb cheats to unlock panning so I could go ahead and use it

It won't erase your old save! you can go back anytime. Just keep a list of mods you were using in the old save, so you can go back to them

you don't seem to have content patcher, and you should pick one vintage interface, not both of them (you have the older one and the multipack)
you also have overgrown flowery at the same time? are you using a mod manager like vortex or moddrop?

i'm using moddrop. I just went into the files in my downloads and removed overgrown and now i've removed vintage V2 from my installed library on moddrop. I do have the content patcher installed as well

I don't use mod managers nor can recommend them for SV. It's an easy enough game to mod and I've seen too many problems with using a mod manager 
If that was the content folder that means it was a xnb and we don't use them anymore

Moddrop didn't give me an option for enabling them but they are "installed"

yeah, probably for the best, mod managers can complicate things for SDV
so for SDVE, it says to use the reset terrain mod, but I can't figure out how to use it
I tried clicking L but it didn't work, changed it to -, still nothing
