The last one? Chest by the door, I shove my animal produce in there. They then get sent through with automate. Eggs into the egg machine, wool into the loom, truffle into the oil machines and milk into the cheese press

You can't destroy things built into the maps like that without editing the maps. Only thing you can destroy is trees and bushes, that sort of thing

Another random question. I recently updated all of our mods and noticed two minecarts and a cave entrance that was added to the farm. Using them however freezes the game. I'm not sure why.

I just received a few recipes in the mail and two of them were listed as Null. I think its possible its from Even More Recipes. Is it possible they are still in the game but something happened with receiving the recipes?

I haven't changed anything except for adding translations with EMR. There shouldn't be a reason they're null but MFM did just update IIRC.

If you aren't using a lot of mods, you should be fine. But the music does add quite a bit of strain, so you'd want to put the preloads to false if you plan on using it 🙂

i haven't done any editing yet because i don't have any idea how. on the wiki it says: "By editing the "larger greenhouse" option in the [CP] Grandpa's Farm\config.json file from "false" to "true" you can access a larger interior." but I have no idea how to do that.

for most players: combining mods is way, way more hard than with CP, since you have to manually edit files together yourself.

for returning players: your mods will usually be overwritten by, or worse, incompatible with game updates.

for modders: making updates is time-consuming, making mods compatibility-safe is impossible, since you can only have one edit at a time.

for me: people turn up to #making-mods-general and ask if anyone can post game files since they didn't make backups of the XNBs they edited and deleted SDVpuffermlem

i could give you other reasons if you like lol, generally it's a Bad Idea™️ these days since there's just better alternatives made easy

if you must use XNBs, use XNBLoader to preserve your game files. but the general rule is for every minute saved by replacing an XNB rather than writing a content pack, you're paying 10 minutes down the line for when you need to merge edits or make changes.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a few people to test my new bundle mod for balance. It's designed to be used with SVE and PPJA and is supposed to help add to the longevity of the game and give you a reason to play past year 2 or 3. A large amount of the new content from both of those mods is integrated into the bundles, you should have a reason to build almost all of the new artisan valley producer buildings. Ideally you'd play on 75% or 50% profit margins. I'd love feedback on if anything feels too hard, too easy, too grindy etc.

We can both be blamed. I was investigating the code and I have an idea of what might be happening.
Vanilla recipes have an extra info slot on the string for the translation name of the recipes. The English files do not have that extra info at the end.
Before, MFM implementation checked the language, and would only look for the translation name of the recipe if it was not English.
Now, it check the size of the data to see if there is an extra slot of info, so even English recipes can have a display name different from the actually name.
So my guess is that your recipes have a "/null" at the end of the recipe for the English version. Before it would ignore it, but now it's replacing the name with the display name, "null".
You can just remove the /null at the end, to be similar to vanilla recipes, or you can repeat the name of the recipe at the end.

I'm debugging it. Seems it's a problem with JA for cooking recipes. Crafting recipes it work fine. But cooking recipe it return the array with /null at the end.
One thing that could fix it it to add an "en" translation.
But since it will affect every cooking recipe, it's probably best that I also change the way it's done in MFM.
Space could also fix that in JA, since it's doing something that vanilla does not.

Hi! I was just wondering, are there any mods that add a search bar to the furniture/wall catalogs? I've got about 130+ mods and scrolling through all the items (especially ones for CF) can be a pain. Is there any way I can search up for specific items without scrolling forever to the bottom?

@fast river Just to let you know. Cooking recipes added with JA are adding a "/null" at the end of the recipe string, the "display name" field of the recipes. That happen for English display name, that people does not usually place at the i18n part of the json assets. Vanilla files don't add that last parameter for the English language.
That does not happen for crafting recipes, they don't add the "/null"
That behavior caused issues with recent MFM update. I already released a fix to ignore the display name if it's "null".
But you might want to fix it in the future to avoid issues with other mods that are expecting data format similar to vanilla.

Sounds like it might be an XNB mod, probably want to avoud and try to find a conversion of it.

it's most likely a file format like .rar or .7z, you need a file extractor to use it

A whole bunch! Industrial Furniture Set (and kitchen/interior), Mi's Country furniture, Modern Gothic, Rustic Furniture, Elegant Victorian Interior, not to mention the Seasonal Garden Furniture V2 house design. I've got 130+ total, all towards decor, characters, gameplay, interface, etc.

Hi there, I sort my mods via their own master folders depending on the file I want to play (example, folders for farm A or farm B). I've never had an issue with this before, but today Smapi showed that it couldn't load the entire folder due to the 'it contains files but none of them are manifest.json' error. Any ideas as to why this happened?
