@tame moth you could try using an external program to bind the m buttons to keyboard codes. and you can try https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Modding:Player_Guide/Key_Bindings#Find_the_code_for_a_key to find out if smapi recognizes the keys

and I think it may be due to which file it's picking for Cecilia Dialog. There is one specifically for FemDenver that doesn't refer to Denver as male anywhere, but there may be a fault in the conditional logic somewhere that's pulling up the regular Denver dialog file. In any case, I hacked up all of them to make references to Denver gender neutral 
What surprised me the most was that Cecilia will talk about Denver even if you don't have Denver installed, including that line about who else can see her
Since I didn't used to have Denver installed, I'd gone through and added HasMod checks for most lines but missed that one because that line doesn't refer to Denver by name lol
All this only happened when I tried to make it so the male base could have the sleeves too ;x;
denver comes with both male and female and you need to remove the option you dont want

chances are it's maybe 1-2 things causing the log file to balloon up in size, so it's most likely an easy fix

@dire fractal if you load up and load a save then exit... your log will be as minimal as possible before uploading
unless its an issue that doesnt show in smapi until after yo do something, like open a chest or what not

I don't know what the exact requirements for Isla's intro events are because I haven't looked at the mod's files, but it's something incredibly early. Like getting to the beach after 10am for the second part seems to be too late even.
is there a mod or something that allows you to see all keybinds including mods keybinds and lets you change them instead of going to each mods configs to see which mods adds a keybind etc

Sadly not yet, a keybind manager is a surprisingly complex thing for modders to create
isla's proper introduction wouldn't trigger for me, i looked up the conditions in the event script. i don't know if the author found out what the problem was with it
GMCM will work for CP mods and any C# mods that implement it, but it's not specific to keybinds

You could try searching your Mods folder for "F2" and see if that narrows it down
I search my Mods folder using VS Code because it's faster than Windows' search lol

I also use Natural Color Reshade. Readers Digest update is because the manifest has the wrong version and BJSNoClip is just confused afaik and NPCMapLocations for SVE I just haven't updated yet. These mods and setup worked on another computer.

Is it possible to use the automate mod to make products with multiple (ITC 2) ingredients? & if so; what would the configuration be? I’ve been making cannibutter with the stardope valley mod by hand every day in 24 churners but was hoping I could configure it with automate but am afraid the only thing I know how to do with is it just make regular butter, ie it only pulls the milk & not the weed, lol
try changing the order of the milk and the weed in the storage

I'm not sure I understand. I open the Mods folder in VS Code and then search for whatever. If you want to search for a specific keybind like "F2" search for that. Include the quotations. If you want to look up config.json files you can also search for that.

I haven't had the chance to actually play the game since the new spacecore came out to try and see how well it runs for me personally, beyond turning on the game for a few minutes for mod testing. Been so busy. I hope to spend a lot of time playing for actual fun this weekend.

@wraith wing the content.json is just a text file, you'd just need to put that line in it (the .xnb extension should be removed though)

I used on of the hairs from this one and re edited it
I basically changed the frontal and side hair a bit ;/ tbh that's all I wanted lol.

@wraith wing no need to pack the png into an xnb file. the Target is the game asset your file is replacing (in practical terms at least), normally CP doesn't want the extension, might've been different with that format version (1.0.0, i assume from the very first CP release)
might be good to change the format version to something more recent, like 1.19.0

I turned smapi for andriod into a another apk so on the app editor app I use I'm able to add in xnbs and replace them
then you probably can't use that recent format version, unless CP version 1.19 is available on android
Along with being able to add mods in spami
tbin is a packed file that contains some json and map data

but as long as you can use CP, you can use it to replace the asset
u can install tiled extension for that

It's just weird because I alinged all the hair up correctly and everything

Didn't know anybody modded SDV on Vita until now. TIL. But honestly it's probably more fine to use XNBs on the Vita version. The Vita version is no longer supported, so it doesn't have that problem of new updates coming out and breaking things

basicly you have files in your mod folder for a mod that uses reshade... a 3rd party graphics plugin.... Likely it dont work on your system and you'll want to delete the files to make the errors go away

I hate the fishing side of the game but i refuse to cheat was well so i play through with no fishing mods

I wish there was a balanced fishing mod that just changed the minigame to something more fun
If anything stops me from completion its fishing every time lol
there are instant catch mod that remove it completely
but again I dont cheat my whole mod im working is all about things getting harder not easier... but over time unlike most that do it right from the start
funny thing about the fishing mini game - it's so silly that even Joys of Efficiency's AFK fishing struggles with harder fish. A computer even struggles! I had to re-install ye olde Fishing Mod so JoE can guaranteed catch my fish for me. Mod-ception. The mod needed a mod.
it would be easy enough to edit all the fish to be really simple like catching a carp

I know what you mean. The first month or two (real life) time of me playing SDV back when it first came out I got decent enough I could catch most fish with a lot of practice. But the legendaries are up and down so fast that I just couldn't. It felt impossible. Those are what made me give up on trying to improve

If you've played the game at least once since installing Automate, you should have a config.json file in the Automate folder. You can open it up using Notepad or another text editor and change the settings there. I believe the Automate Nexus page has a link somewhere on it to explain the settings if you need it

There's some really good CP mods out there MaverickWolf if you don't want vanilla animals. If you would like a suggestion, I really like this. It has support for the 1.5 animals like the ostrich too

hello can someone help me? im installing the Ridgeside vallley mod fore the first time . I also have SVE intalled and I wanted to know hwo to intsall the npc locations for the RSV mod and how do i install the custom music for RSV without overrdiding the custom muisc for SVE
The custom music mod comes prepackaged with SVE, along with Custom NPC Fixes, they'll work fine together
As for the NPC Map Locations, Im not completely sure

get the mod config option in nexus. you can disable mods on the title screen instead of manually typing false on each file.
or just create a folder outside of \mods where u can drag and drop your old unused mods.

one problem seems to be with too long file path, specifically for some SVE things. can probably be fixed by shortening the folder name that SVE is in

because you need to take the folders in the SVE download not the download folder itself
when you open the zipped folder there's a whole folder inside and i take that and drag it into the mods
i dont seperate the inside stuff
When you download SVE, like the mod itself, you have to take the folders inside what you downloaded and put them in the mod folder
sve comes bundled with a couple of its dependencies, so if you downloaded them separately as well, you may have doubled up
it's a common issue XD

Yep gotta watch out for interface mods and also recolor mods for changing dig spots. I use DaisyNiko's Earthy Recolor and that changes the dig spot too.
Fortunately they tend to be able to turned off in the config
makes a recolour mod that changes everything but the dig spot to dig spots

i downloaded pokefy just to check it out, and it gave me a big-craftable tilesheet to confirm the obelisk! (a black and red mirror that, when placed, makes the villagers inexplicably angry. this mirror/obelisk was cut very early in development. i read about its existence years ago, but couldn't find more about it since, and can't find the article now. aedenthorn's overworld chests can rarely hold an obelisk/mirror, though, which is what's rekindled my interest in finding out more about them)

SVE is great
I had been running ridgesidr and sve but it was a little complicated. I don’t think I’ve had a single play through for more than three years so I was debating going without expansions or just one
RSV is more separate from the main game than SVE ( though still interacts with it a lot), so it's more lightweight in that sense if you prefer that
I personally enjoy RSV more out of SVE vs RSV, but they're both very good. I would suggest reading over their Nexus pages and just downloading whichever one sounds more appealing to you if you would only like one.

You can edit dialog in mods! You'll have to start digging around in the particular mod's files and changing it. You can ask the making-mods channel for help if need be. But also there are German versions for some mods. You'll just have to look up what you're interested in. For example, SVE (Stardew Valley Expanded) has a German translation, and translations for a lot of other languages too

I put the mod folder in and everything works but when I go to my standard farm and go to the edge of the map where the expanded map is it isn’t there
For making-mods I was talking about #making-mods-general for help learning how to translate mods. But if you were wanting to download mods in German, you can generally find them on Nexus by clicking the Translation box in the description if there is one (it's where you tend to see Requirements and other things) and there will be a drop down where you can get links to the other language versions

Are you trying to load up the Ace's map with a new game? You generally can't use different farm maps with existing save games without causing problems. If you are trying to play with a new game, could you post your log? Maybe there's errors/problems we can help you with
