It shouldn't be a problem for it. Most of the ID scrambling issues are relating to produced crops. Meaning making jelly, pickles, wine, etc

The ID files are saved shortly after the game is saved, so if you exit the game immediately I think you have old ID files?
And sometimes things are double-fixed, so I'm adding a command to do one cycle of unfixing
@covert glade Your issue is with PFMAutomate But the log shows it has an update, maybe try updating your mods first.

hey guys i got a question
so, i kinda wanna get rid of the Grandpa's house from SVE
but im almost at the end of spring year 1 and i im too lazy to start over
since im playing with difficulty mods that made everything really grindy
can i simply finish all my crops, take them out and delete the map to put another without breaking the game?
i know its risky but idk if it could work
You can BUT, backup your save
type world_bushreset in SMAP
and you'll need NoClip to clear up debris in weird places
and Robin to move your buildings
Due to where Grandpa's Farm puts the Greenhouse, it'll most likely be in a weird place on the new map and can't be moved till you finish the CC bundle for it

not really, only big patches requires, like when we went from 1.4 to 1.5

and it looks pretty comfy

the two biggest custom farms: SVE maps (grandpa's and immersive farm), and Ace's maps
Ace's add a lot of space, and when i say a lot its A LOT
I saw that the immersive farm mod maker was no longer updating Immersice Farm 2, and wanted to ensure that everything still works well with 1.5
but they are really creative and lets you forage inside your farm map as well
And just overall see if there are any other recommendations
Immersive Farm 2 Fixed would be the version to use

i recommend you to check the last updated mods list on nexus
check until late september of last year to ensure that they work
but personally, i'd say you have to play with SVE, ohodavi's anime protraits, seasonal villagers mod, seasonal portraits
The SMAPI Mod compatibility listing is also a good place to check
i just don't really like the vanilla portraits
also seasonal villagers give the game a bit more of immersion since every character gets different clothing depending on the day and season

and there will be a link to the most recent version, which is on the forums
in the config file of CCCB is an option to change it, just change the "default" or "vanilla" text into the bundles you wanna work with
all the commands should be on the page
Skill Prestige itself works by, when you reach level 10 and pick a profession, you can open the skills page and Prestige the skill to go back to level 0 with a prestige point; prestige points can be used to buy permanent professions

Sounds like you didn't put the full path to your SMAPI
That, or you missed out one or more of the quote marks - yes you need the full filepath to your copy of StardewModdingAPI
go to your game files, specifically the folder with the Mods and Content folders in it
there should be something named StardewModdingAPI with a pufferchick icon

yeah either you have too many large mods or basically no RAM free on your system; Stardew can use up to 3.5 GB
are we aware of any ridgeside warps? Ridgeside and Athenari corner compete, so I can't access Ridgeside while I have athenari downloaded

i removed ridgeside and the error went away

Big mods in this case means large filesizes - custom music, particularly complicated/large aesthetic mods with many, many, many sprites that get swapped around a lot, stuff like that
@simple swift you can also try a large address aware tool! apparently SDV isn't LAA and using a tool to manually make it LAA might solve memory issues

I think the system error isnt caused by a specific mod but does tend to referemce the mod it reached the limit on and all the mods after that.

Ridgeside has a lot of content, so it requires a little more memory than most CP mods. + it does a bunch at the same time

No. It's a 32-bit application. 32-bit applications can't use more than 4GB at most.

While it does load and not throw me an error in game it still pops up that it doesn't recognize some items and I'm not sure why??? and the Elle's farm animal thing doesn't matter bc I'm using adopt n skin so it's just having a mini tantrum

That's what happens when the author forgets to update the manifest. You can ignore it, but if you want the update mentions to go away, you just open up the manifest.json for that mod in Notepad or something and you can just type in whatever SMAPI thinks is the most recent version where it shows the version number in the manifest

@covert glade I dont know much about the JA issues, but the other warnings should be okay. That Fresh Meat mod isn't loaded because it's missing the main mod you need BugNet

To go along with what Mizzion said, BugNet is kinda broken right now. But it is an optional dependency in Fresh Meat so it won't hurt anything to ignore that red text
so, nothing popped up in smapi, but i couldn't use my workbench? it's in a shed next to 2 chests, and it opened the crafting menu automatically when i got next to the bench, but then i couldn't exit the menu and it didn't seem to register the items in the chests?

OH! I think I know your Elle's problem xazz. What did you download for the replacement packs? Did you download (for example) the top Cat Replacement file? Or did you download the Cat Skins underneath optional files? Because Cat Skins is what you need for AnS.
You don't need the top Cat Replacement file at all. You would go into Adopt n Skin's folder, Assets, Skins, Cat then put all of the cat skin images there. You'd do that with all of the replacements except the critter one
Yes, a recipe is using an item that doesn't exist
You don't even have to put them in a subfolder named Cat, they just have to use the A&S file name format and be somewhere in the Skins folder
So I guess we need to find which content pack adds barley, broccoli, etc. π€

Fruits and Veggies has broccoli and barley. If something isn't loading it probably was installed incorrectly.
Is it possible that with "Love of Cooking" duplicating recipes that those ingredients just got skipped?
Cause it looks like "Love of Cooking" adds in stuff that is already supposed to be added in by another mod.
It seems like that's handled according to the log:
The Love of Cooking Did not add new crops: [PPJA] Fruits and Veggies already adds these objects.
So, is it possible that Love of Cooking items are just being skipped.

That sounds like the Json Shuffle issue there, you toss or sell the affected items and it won't happen again
The Json Shuffle is when json throws item IDs in the air and they land in weird items
Okay, does that include the items that have just... vanished
The JSON shuffle makes me wish that IDs were handled the same way as they are in Minecraft. π

the fruits and veggies was an issue and after I did that it was throwing me for succulents and then the fresh meat mod. The assets were empty like the F&V mod but I reinstalled them and my smapi console is CLEAR! Thanks so much for the help!
The items are gone, unless some have turned invisble. If hovering over it doesn't show anything it's gone

@dire fractal Both Android SMAPI ports are currently broken. ZaneYork is aware of the issue. There is no ETA for a fix. A large portion of the graphics code got abruptly changed which caused the port to break.
ZaneYork does accept pull requests if you are able to submit a fix. You can also check the repo for updates for when a new version is released. https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer

So like, say there's a person
whose modded Stardew is publicly visible, like say a streamer or youtuber, and that person really loves parts of two or more different graphics mods without config options. Normally I would assume it would be fine if a person with the know-how decided to use say, the Cheese Press from one mod and the Mayo Machine from another even if both mods have both those machines in them, that no one would know about it because nobody would see it. But is it considered rude or taboo to do so as a player whose game is seen by others?

I think the only issue you might run into is if you want to release it to your viewers
the problem generally comes at the next step, people wanting you to share your changes, that's where things go bad
As long as you aren't redistributing the mods, you are free to use whatever bits and pieces you like.
Ahh, yes, I wouldn't want to share it directly. If people asked I'd just say, this is from this and that is from that. Oh, that's a relief! I was worried it would be rude, thank you all!

Oh this is a few different mods. Looks like yellogs furniture. And maybe some of their other mods. They also have a door over a door.
It should do it automatically unless there is a config option in the mod

My ui info suite is broken? The range display for sprinklers and the showing the animals that need petting are off and not in the spot they're supposed to be in. I also can't get into the ui mod options and can't use the calendar/billboard in my inventory :(

I have an XNB to CP converted mod question. I noticed this on the XNB page on the wiki: "For modders: When migrating XNB mods, only use Action: Load if you actually need to replace the whole file (e.g. portrait mods). Don't use Action: Load for dialogue mods or to change a small part of a file!" Um... this is exactly what the CP version of the Haywrites dialog mods seem to be doing looking at the content.json. Are these safe to use or no?
They are there, just extremely rare, hopefully new build will make them less rare

It's ok while I downloaded all the mods that need updates for 1.5 for me, I didn't install them, or delete the ones I know I won't use anymore, or download the new ones I was interested in (besides RSV) so I wouldn't worry too much

Just a heads up, and I dont know why this would only be the case with the official update, but NPC locations and UI info may not be properly compatible right now. NPC locations did its 'throw an error and crash the UI thing' yesterday and I had to remove UI Info to fix it
Dropping npc locations didn't change anything
I think it's because NPC locations is trying to do something with the 1.5 areas that UI Info doesnt support yet and something goes terribly wrong

If you dont get the NPC locations crash that occasionally happens you're probably fine, but if it does happen you may need to reinstall UI Info at least
