I think CA doesn't plan add this feature to vanilla. Yes, it's shame NA is dead due to SDV 1.5 updates which causes se weird bugs and weird behaviours for most people (but not for me and idk why and I am not able to fix it), but that's the reality of the SDV modding world. I am not able to fix it alone without external help.

I don't think you can extend lengths with just CP. You'd need to replace existing furniture
CP can only "add" content if there's empty space where it can be loaded into on the default sprite sheet

Yes! You're safe to remove any mod or re-add it any time. Just make sure that any modded items are out of your inventory to avoid any crashes or problems

i know i had to remove some npcs for a couple of days when they were messing up winter star, and my friendships with them weren't touched. but that wasn't sve >.> sve npcs are built into the whole mod. but for something like walk to the desert or garden village, you can remove those npcs without removing the mod. so maybe that's the difference >.>

Items should never be lost, unless something has gone seriously wrong. At worst they become inaccessible unless you remove enough items to move everything back up

yep that's all it was. once I pulled the extra stuff out I didn't have that space available, but I was able to get everything out properly
I got colored chests working now too, so you can have a grayscale version if you want to support that

It's determined by the images you put into the JA part of the mod
either way, as soon as json assets updates we'll have barrels, coolers, and cardboard boxes as new storage containers

Colored storage basically allows you to have 3 layers - base layer is tinted, middle layer is not, top layer is tinted
as a more, i guess, general question about mods and saves: i have a test save that has only gotten past character creation, and i started it with mods and through smapi. at one point, i tried to load it vanilla, and it crashed and the message i received was about sve's morris >.> was that specific to sve, or was that because saves started with mods can't be loaded in vanilla at all (and the sve specific was just the first error to register)?

I've had a few people say that inserting items from the fourth backpack row drops them to the ground instead of add them to the chest

There is a version for testing that fixes the issue, but you have to get it from the author's discord server

does anyone know all the map changes that were made in 1.5? im using SDV reimagined 2, and some of the modded maps don't have new items. i wanted to disable the maps that have new aspects, but don't want to just delete the whole mod haha

I think I figured out what's going on.
RSV's vanilla map overrides Grandpa's farm map. (So you see vanilla farm and Ridgeside Village.)
SVE's Immersive Farm map overrides RSV's Immersive farm map (So you see Immersive Farm farm with trees where Ridgeside Village is.

yeah mostly? so far i've noted the town (new bulletin board) and the railroad area (summit/recycling bin) maps need changing
reimagined 2 hasn't been updated since august so you're probably gonna have issues

Ye some people report bugs when there aren't any, or to the wrong mod page, etc.
with boarding house, RSV and and SVE locations NPC locations has a tendency to crash trying to load the new area (volcano dungeon specifically) and trash my UI
it's not a consistent thing though. used to happen one out of every 10 or 20 loads, then it was every 3 or 4
Also things can be functional even if there are bugs, so there's variation there
I'll give it a try.

The first thing you need to ask yourself is what do you wish the game did that it doesn't

Ridgeside Village is great too. It's fairly new but is another big expansion just like Stardew Valley Expanded
And yet I wouldn't say it's "unnoticed" because it's been on the hot files lol

Sure, not unnoticed, but it's definitely still new enough that in places other than this Discord, I find people who don't know about it all the time. I haven't seen much of the Stardew Valley YouTubers/streamers talk about it yet
probably more QOL, some more combat stuff, more animals
Another suggestion if you like fishing is More New Fish. It adds a lot more fish to catch.
But yeah, there's tons of mods. It really depends on what you are interested in! I would suggest starting with whatever areas of the game that you think needs more content or you would like to see a gameplay fix
For new animals you'd need BFAV, which hasn't been updated. You could have different looking animals using Adopt n Skin, but it takes a sec to set up.

Typically yes you could, but sadly the one hero we need, Reset Terrain Features, has not been updated for 1.5, so it's not currently possible to do it unless you want bushes and trees in odd places 
@lone pond You can use no clip + destroyable bushes to remove glitched trees/debris/bushes. It will be a lot of manual work, but possible.

I think you might have to adjust the mouse wheel sensitivity itself for that? I think you're the first person I've seen that asked about that in this channel

If your mouse has its own profiler software then maybe you can create custom sensitivity settings for when it detects SDV being launched?

i was trying to update a mod and it was saying "u have no storage" then i say nothing much big so i than went to my bin and saw all the folders and was like "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

That can be pretty dangerous, as updates for OS's tend to need about 10~ and computers kind of slow down drastically
i have been googling and it looks like its a hardware thing aaaaaargh. I hate this my scroll is useless cause i move the wheel a fraction of a millimeter and it counts a 1 scroll action, and 1 scroll action is what is needed to switch tools so i cant go back and forth on the tool bar ever

If you have external storage you can create a link to a separate mods folder so that the space is not taking up your main drive
ok so my community center is broken from the outside but the inside is fixed, JOJA is also repaired now, what happened
i do use the numbers but i have tiny hands and some of them are very far over from wasd

and sometimes i need to switch fast to sword and sometimes i want to switch fast between axe and pickaxe and sword (DEEPWOODS)
and the auto tool picker thing apparently cant see hardwood sources
Here's a tip that might help! Once you have the maximum backpack, set your tools depending on what you're doing
On one row have the pickaxe and sword on 1, 2, and food in like 3 for easy mine clicking
then on another row you can have your waterican and hoe in 1,2 keys and scythe in 3
and in another row you have your axe and fishing pole, with the tackle right next
I was about to say use AutoTools and you don't have to manually select your tools anymore
that way you'er only using 1,2,3 and just tabbing to get to the next inventory row
I turn off their automatic thing though and use a hotkey instead
depending on your action

My farm map mod is screwing with the winter mystery quest, so im trying to find a work around
How so?
The winter mystery quest requires you to walk from a specific zone in the farm map to the bus stop
the zone is dictated by its coordinates, but many farm maps move the bus stop transport location
therefore, you move to the bus stop while not being in the correct zone, and thus it does not start the quest
apparently when ti first came out this zone had its own issues in just vanilla maps, as if you were too far up on the road to the bus stop it also wouldnt trigger

Well PPJA has its own cooking recipes and ingredients. From what Iβve seen itβs an overhaul of the vanilla cooking.
But I havenβt downloaded it yet as it doesnβt appear to be compatible with Multiplayer
I have both ppja and loc and they both work okay together, even working with split screen co-op
it should work with any recipes. there's an option in the config to disable the LoC recipes and ingredients if you wanted to do that, but from what the author said it should be fully compatible

The fire breathers are your main target. Just get them to aggro, dodge to the side and beat the heck out of them

you have two copies of immersive farm 2
Delete all incompatible mods, and the copies you have of immersive farm and walk through trellises'
Worth noting custom furniture might end up breaking your safe file if not removed

you also have advanced location loader in there, and that's abandoned
so if any mods depend on that you're gonna need to remove those too

where users need one of those 3 mods for something else, don't realize they have it and install it a second time causing both versions to fail to load - in your SVE folder there's a Custom NPC Exclusions and a Custom NPC Fixes
there's also a copy of each of those in the root mods folder
You have two copies of Custom NPC fixes and Custom NPC exclusions. You need to delete one copy in order for SVE to load
