Can someone help me with an issue. Yesterday everything was fine. Today i started the game and almost everytime when i go to sleep my smapi console spams errors. I get a blackscreen and nothing happens. Im playing Multiplayer and if i wouldnt quit the game when this happens the game of my friend would crash. He is the host of the session.

oh i see, it makes sense, with a more detailed look, it seems the author has recognized this exact issue, and there is no clear solution, so i guess i will stay away from it for now

what method are u using to install the mods?
@terse cargo read thru those red errors near the begining and resolve them, that's where 99% of your problems are going to be
the game loops seems to be a independent SVE issue, maybe fresh SVE install can fix your issue
the mod loading issue seems to be because u have the mega PPJA pack installed in conjunction to the individual PPJA modules
having multiples of npc exclusions and fixes means they dont load, which would cause sve to throw up
@languid finch without adopt and skin, you largely are intended to just pick one you like from the pictures, if thats what you did you deleted some of the formating, delete the config and load it again and give it another try
it's unhappy with whatever is on the sheep line from what I saw from that screen

So this bug has been around for a while, but is there any particular reason why, when trying to put a new wallpaper or flooring up, a lot of the time it just gets eaten? I'm 90% sure it's an issue with Custom Walls and Flooring

not sure if i should ask here but i just decided to play stardew valley after installing some mods. i created a new farm and it's stuck at loading (after the whole intro) and it hasn't changed for about an hour? i tried old farms too they're all stuck at "loading". my game won't load if i don't use any mods either- what should i do ? i can access the home screen fine and i can still make new farms but once the game starts to load it just never finishes loading.
I love fishing so I don't think I'd find it a problem

try again and then kill the game a minute or two after the black screen, then post the log

Ye my advice assumes you didn't use XNB mods (they would have gone into your Stardew Valley > Content folder instead of Stardew Valley > Mods folder) and don't have any random missing files (which can happen

There are folks new enough to SDV modding that don't know and they just install it per the instructions
will give re validating a try but that'd be seriously weird honestly
A good amount of XNB mods were converted to CP, but not all CP conversions are made equal lol

Some use hacky methods that could cause problems, but at least those would show up in the log so they're easier to troubleshoot

XNB mods have more of a risk for that, but if you’re using SMAPI mods, it’s not that high of a risk.

The only real risk is messing up a ongoing save, depending on the type of mods u plan on adding

Control the flow of time in the game: speed it up, slow it down, or freeze it altogether. This can happen automatically or when you press a key in the game.

The compatibility list is only for C# SMAPI mods, so content packs for framework mods wouldn't be listed on there.
The list is also manually updated by hoomanz, so if the mod was recently updated, there's a chance the list wasn't updated.
I'm starting a 1.5 playthrough and got SVE for the first time. I was using some map recolor before (for a vanilla map), but are there any for SVE? My eyes get tired too fast and I'd like my colors a little less saturated

May just need to remove them in groups of 5 until they come back, then add back in until they disappear
It's not pleasant but sometimes it's the only way to troubleshoot

That mod. When I say I wanted to get my mod list I didn’t mean every single detail down to my personal mods. 
It took a bit to clear it up so now it’s better, still not exactly there yet.
i gave it a good look, but there is nothing i can think that would change that specifically, best solution is to do block testing, start by disabling half of your mod list, then the other half, and u keep halving it until u narrow the culprit
So Immersive Characters Shane is being flagged as due an update but I cannot find an update that's past the last time I downloaded, anyone have any idea why that's happening?

If you're sure you have the latest, it's a typo in manifest.json file. It's harmless, but you can manually update the version # yourself if you want, using any text editor. Notepad or Notepad++ work

It would change load order though, since SMAPI loads in alphabetical order by folder name
If it wasn’t for me changing my pronouns all of the time, I wouldn’t have to keep on switching between the normal and gender-neutral versions of CFDE

Ye that's one of those "the mod author will need to get involved" errors 

Whenever it's a SMAPI mod causing trouble, if reinstalling didn't work, and you isolated the mod causing it (like, it's not an incompatibility with another mod, or if it is, you know which mod(s)), file a bug report with your log 😂
you know, the rest of the game stops responding when it's not in focus. . .why doesn't the opening menu?
It's a limitation of the XNA framework
Do be careful because you can accidentally delete saves by alt tabbing and clicking around 
or close the game and wonder if you're going crazy when you go to play :p

It's a recolor of furniture and furniture was changed. It likely needs an update for 1.5

Just out of curiosity is anyone else having troubles with SVE/IM2? I've isolated it to specifically sve, it never errors however I can't start a new game or load an old save it freezes at loading deep woods. And everything is updated ect. And the log shows everything is okay

Ahahaha, there is a SMAPI version listed but it is deprecated, and the CP version is newer. The list means "it loads in 1.5" not "it's bug free"
okay it is listed on the SMAPI list but it links to the depreciated version that hasn't been updated in . . .far longer

for some reason, this mod makes pet selection and four corners map buttons not appear on character creation screen, I tested and it's this mod the culprit
other than this bug, the mod is working as expected

And Farmer to Florist is meant to be a standalone. As per permissions I can’t alter anything other than the original intent of the mod. Which is why there’s no working florist table.

I limit my PPJA to More Recipes and everything it requires, so the packs are More Recipes, More Trees, Fruits and Veggies, and Mizu's Flowers. I do also love Farmer to Florist and Fantasy Crops.

@royal arrow my biggest issues with warps are that as far as im aware, theres no cjb warp file for grandpa's farm, only if2 so its bwoken
I realized remote fridge storage and chests anywhere are now kinda obsolete, and more cheaty than the vanilla elements
So I removed them
Everything outside of the farm itself warps fine, but the farm warps get you stuck in invisible blocks
I removed Remote Fridge Storage because it was causing lag for me, but I don't think I'll ever give up Chests Anywhere o.o'
Chests anywhere is a lifesaver
it depends on what mod it is, but in some of them you can edit the warp locations in the config files

@ trantula KAYA and I were working on making hybrid crops of all the vanilla crops but it would've been...a few hundred. We didn't get very far. Doing all the PPJA crops would have been a few thousand excluding flowers.
It'd be neat to have a mod or even a program that could mashup the sprites together and look good or at least acceptable but I never found one.

Hello everyone! I don't have a lot of time right now but I wanted to pop in to let you know that we are working on updating ACC for patch 1.5 and are actively working on it. In the meanwhile this mod will not be officially compatible with the current version of the game. So if you add JA mods to an existing save that already had JA mods, the IDs can get shuffled. Sometimes items have new names, like in the case of artisan goods.
Sometimes items keep their name, but have a new icon. Like an electric prod looking like a sword

honestly, you know what would be cool but probably super hard? patches for some of the npc mods so that they can interact in like cutscenes or mention each other in dialogue

You know, we have drones and there was the adventure mod that let you bring people, but has there ever been a way to bring your slimes as allies? Ideally we need a whole monster ranching expansion, but that would be a good start

@outer turret We could look into converting shearwater bridge as the entrance to east scarpe. Could make it a little smaller too. That way it’d geographically make sense.

also out of curiosity: what all NPCs hang out at East Scarpe? I see from the mod description that Jacob and Eloise are there, and Nagito and Beatrice as well. Any others? My instinct is to say some of Lemurkat's NPCs also probably take a gander through it
Sundrop was updated a couple days ago. Definitely could have used the bus or train mods instead of adding a road there though
Juliet and gremlin walk through it. Jasper visits it on Saturdays (I think) at some point in his schedule.
Sundrop dont want dependencies on external mods.
Moving the warp might fix Nagitos pathing issue with sVe too.

(I think literally it's the angle he leaves by he just ends up walking into the table and getting stuck. None of my NPCs do it and if he walks north a little he could come in from the path correctly.
Should nagito be working with ES right now? He was throwing errors so I disabled him and haven't taken another look
Nagito has always worked with eS on my game. I'd need to see the errors. My version probably isnt the most up to date either.

@rare quest with append now it would be fairly easy to change the exit warp from East Scarpe to town east if SVE installed.

I followed all the steps in each mod (I believe) but SMAPI keeps crashing upon start. Not sure how to find my logs since my Steam is on an external harddrive
