It looks to be as though it's an translation error. Just to troubleshoot, I would try moving back to the last version of UI Info Suite 2 and see if that changes anything. Otherwise I'm unsure as to what could be causing this issue

I need help updating smapi and it keeps saying Oops, couldn't find the game automatically.
Type the file path to the game directory (the one containing 'Stardew Valley.dll'), then press enter. Then when I put the path in it either says That directory doesn't contain a Stardew Valley executable or that the directory doesn’t exist. I have tried everything but does anyone know how to fix this?

yes, all you have to do is go to steam > stardew valley > settings > installed files > verify file integrity

Ok it said that a lot of files failed to validate and will be reacquired. What now?
its going to basically reinstall the files youre missing, once thats done check where stardew valley should be installed on your computer, make sure the .dll is there and then retry installing smapi
What do you mean be installed on my computer if it already is?
so the reason smapi wasnt installing was because the .dll, the thing smapi needs to "attach" itself to to work, was either not in the file directory you picked or not on your computer at all

what the file integrity verification does is fixes broken files, reinstalls ones you may not have, etc etc, so in the event your .dll was broken or missing its going to put it back where it should be or fix it, depending
smapi should install fine and find the .dll itself if you try again

I’m trying to use a mod called ToolPouch, and according to the mod author the mod doesn’t seem to be detecting spacecore…it works on windows but not steam deck (Linux)…anyone know why this might be?

I'll review my SMAPI log but I don't think I saw an issue. But I'm having a problem where my bushes are "flickering" almost like it's rapidly switching between two visuals of the same bush. Thoughts?
- You’re missing Console Commands and Save Backup which you must have deleted because they come with SMAPI. Redownload SMAPI and run the installer again.
- There is an update for Tool Pouch (1.0.1 compared to your 1.0.0). Delete the tool pouch mod you have and download the latest one.

Hello my friend crashes while we play modded multiplayer, is there a way to fix this?
I'm avoiding updating Item Extensions mod since the newest version has an error with planting mixed seeds.

You can mod your multiplayer games, but to avoid any hiccups, all players' mod lists need to match. If players have too many mismatched mods, you will experience bugs in your game - even if the mods were working fine earlier, there is no guarantee that they will stay that way, and strange things may start occurring.
There are a few exceptions to this - cosmetic mods usually work fine with no glitches, and some C# mods work as well. The main mod page often includes information on whether or not they work in multiplayer. However, in general, your mod lists should match exactly.

downgrading to 1.4.3 works pretty well! the update introduced a lot of new features mostly, so mods don't really need the newest update set

out of curiosity could you try disabling destroyable bushes?
if that doesnt work id suggest verifying the file integrity of your game to make sure everything is where its supposed to be, but im not seeing anything strange in your log either, so i think it could also be a load issue order with earthy recolor and simple foliage

I just verified the file integrity. I'll load it up and see. Might be destroyable bushes.
i am not seeing any error codes so id be shocked if that were the case but thats the only mod i can see in your logs that edits the way ALL of the bushes work aside from the recolors and foliage which youve said dont fix the issue JSHJSK im winging it mostly

your mod list almost looks like mine, damn. very eclectic and a joy to look at because there's nothing old in there that serves no purpose :D that also means I haven't found anything yet that makes me think "this might be it" immediately. I'd probably try turning off dynamic reflections first as that tends to cause visual problems often. Then there's the two obvious item bags errors, item bags seems to have a few hickups at the moment, might want to check the mod page posts. I could image time speed maybe interfering depending on what you set it to, @proven bobcat

oooooh youve got a couple of errors
okay so first of all, your game is outdated, a lot of people are using 1.6 now and youre running 1.5.4, which is why smapi is throwing errors about being outdated at you, SMAPI has been updated to be 1.6 compatible instead
secondly a lot of your mods use json assets, which you dont have downloaded, but can be downloaded here https://www.moddrop.com/stardew-valley/mods/399895-json-assets
you also have PYTK downloaded, but PYTK and all mods related to it as of 1.6 dont really work, so id suggest getting rid of it
a couple of the mods youre using are .xnb files or just in general no longer compatible (health bars, plain, forest & flower witch to name a few)

Hey everyone, I recently downloaded some new mods that fit alongside East Scarpe. While I was playing through, I kept getting these Space Core messages 12:46:52 WARN SpaceCore A warp from SamHouse references Custom_WTDR_GhostTown which could not be found. <--- like this here. And another one with the Farm Type Manager.
Then I got my first error while going through a cutscene from The Adventurer's Guild Expanded. I don't know if I was doing something wrong, if any of my mods were conflicting with each other. Anyways, here is my SMAPI log

@hasty coral the problem is that ToolPouch relies on SpaceCore but does not list it as a dependency in its manifest. i was able to load it by adding the dependency (i haven't verified it beyond loading to the title screen)
open up the manifest.json file inside the mod folder and add the dependency like so:

Hello, new here. How do I update mods that needs updated?
Welcome!
You update them just the same way as installing them in the first place. Download the updated version, delete the old one from your mod folder, drop the new version into it. You’ll also your configs that way, but you could save them somewhere else before deleting the old one.
@sudden summit @sly elm Thank you both so much for your help yesterday! I figured out there was an issue with how the bushes reset (Terrain Reset mod). They were layered and rapidly shifting between their mirror image. You both were very helpful in the troubleshooting!
both seasonal fencing + seasonal floors (CP) dont work even though i have the required files. is it possible theres a conflict between mods? i have alternative textures and custom furniture too — not sure if they interfere

it's best to upload the log when you have seen the fences/etc in game (like in the image) so that mod conflicts are more likely to show on the log
these are the updated mods but i dont think they conflict
all the cp mods have no conflict; seasonal floors and fences included

I believe SVE has a setting specifically for fence sprites, so you might check the options there to see if that helps
vibrant pastoral is editing some floor related assets as well
yeah, if the mods have options to disable those edits then it's probably the way to go
if not, probably need to change load order/patch priority

When two mods edit the same dialogue or images, whichever edit is applied last "wins" and is the one you see in the game.
If the mods don't set edit priorities (which most don't), that order is mainly determined by the order the mods were loaded by SMAPI. You can change that mod load order to influence the edit order.
Does anyone happen to know how to fix this "WARNING: Mismatched UI Mode Push/Pop counts. Correcting." warning? I think it's what is causing my craft menu to bug

It's a generic error caused when mods are adding/removing elements on the screen (I believe), but something's going wrong and it's not cleanly adding / removing them - Usually it's an incompatibility or a mod bug

I just put a message on the Item Bags nexus page to hopefully try and clear some of it up. I use Vortex to manage everything because I don't wanna mess something up so I'm afraid I messed stuff up by added modded item bags (even though I put everything in the correct folder)

I'm also not understanding why it keeps saying that a mod can be updated but I'm already running the latest update? Imma try redownloading it to see what it does, as the deploy order on the new file is different than the older one.
It happens sometimes when mod makers forget to increment the versioning in manifest.json. And yeah, if I recall right, there's some weird interactions going on with Item Bags right now, based on support messages earlier in the day.
I'd say try removing Item Bags and see if that solves the issue
Ohhh, that makes sense. My smapi log at least now doesn't say to update it so maybe there was that tiny change in between, idk

At this point I'm just being patient and playing through the bugs haha. The only one that's troublesome is the mismatched UI thing, as it bugs closing out of the crafting menu and I have to open a settings menu to be able to close out but I'm okay with that.

this is a thing that the mods need to fix, it's not of concern
it just means the map names changed and the mods are referring to the old names

Vortex isn't recommended for Stardew Valley.
It's hard to troubleshoot and often causes issues like SMAPI/mods not being installed or updated correctly, files mysteriously disappearing, crashes, etc. Volunteers here often can't help with Vortex issues.
Some options:
- Install mods directly (which is easy and safe in Stardew Valley!).
- Or use Stardrop, a mod manager specifically designed for Stardew Valley.
- Or get help with Vortex in the Nexus Discord or Vortex support forums.
(See also the Nexus App feedback thread, if you want to help Nexus avoid the same issues in their upcoming replacement for Vortex.)

I'm assuming that switching from Vortex to Stardrop is seamless, or rather I'm hoping it is 
I don't see anything of concern in your log. the yellow warnings are not of concern as they're just telling you that some mods try to connect to warps on maps that have changed names now, so the maps can't be found with the old names. and farm type manager is not able to spawn things that aren't available in game (yet) which also isn't of concern, iirc it's from wildflour's nooks and crannies. the error with Robin not finding here way in a cutscene is either due to a map change or the mod in question having a small mistake in the event code, but also nothing game breaking
possibly not 😅 vortex works in mysterious ways... and by that I mean iirc it insists on putting mods into its own folders instead of putting them in the mods folder, and in the course of that, eats files as well
I'm okay with doing some footwork with file moving if need be
stardrop on the other hand reads out your mod folder and then for making profiles, it puts all selected mods in a folder but as links only which I think is a great idea cause it leaves the mods in peace and allows for toggling mods on and off quickly, as no files need to be copied, only links

On a side note; I had my wife get Stardrop and migrate over, but after adding the mods and trying to run the game the first time, Stardrop immediately crashes upon being opened. We've tried deleting the files and re-unzipping Stardrop, as well as restarting her computer. Any suggestions?

hi everyone, i don't really know what seems to be the issue, i bought the game with GOG and didn't link my account to smapi as i didn't really care about tracking the hours. It seems inconsistent, maybe it's linked to whether or not i launched GOG before playing?

anyone have tips on fixing red shoes? i've tried replacing my boots and reloading my mod as well as sleeping after and just can't seem to override the red shoe color

How do I use custom portraits for Romancable wizard?
The sprite appears but the portrait is still vanilla wizard.
I found this one that requires portraiture but I don't really want to use that.

the out of date mods are not actually out of date. the manifests are just incorrect
I downloaded the oldest version of the "Quality Bait" which dates to 2023 since I'm still on version 1.5(I'm on android), but the smapu error log says that it's no longer compatible. What should I do?

i don't think there's a working version of DGA at all for game version 1.6. i guess your game was pre 1.6 version and got updated. not an easy thing to fix i fear

Hi, whenever I try to open a chest it instantly closes. Occasionally if I talk to a vendor (mainly clint or the musueum man) it puts me into an infinite loop of constantly re-opening
I suspect it's because of MouseMovement

I got some texture mods but the paintbucket is saying It has no textures for that particular season. Does that mean my textures only show up for 1 season? im kinda confused heh

try posting your smapi log, it sounds like one of the mods that you use for decorating floor doesn't have the proper file to load

im not sure i understand the question! CP portraits and portraiture work at the same time but theyll conflict if you have a CP portrait and a portraiture portrait of the same character
so like i have a CP portrait that affects krobus which means i wont use portraiture mods affecting krobus because theyll conflict, but i can use portraiture mods of other characters just fine
im pretty sure CP portraits can also be put into portraiture but the resolution might be funky / ive heard they can appear giant
im still having trouble. i logged out and logged back in to steam to update everything but i keep getting the same message even after deleting what i could. again im so sorry for the trouble
you don't have to, the CP portrait is the Vanilla option in portraiture

Expanded adds a LOT to the game, so load time in minutes with SVE is not unusual.

What/where is the error?
Whenever I launch the game w/out the API it functions normally but when I have the API on the problem is that the game shuts down but only when the API is on

not sure how to even begin helping you troubleshoot because the log isn't revealing much here. Player actions aren't indicated in the log, and player actions completed during the day that are causing new events to happen on day end or start have often been the cause in the past.

so you cannot make it not touch the chest at all....but in the better chests menu you can turn off "access chest" and "show info" (iirc) and toggle off the colour selector and then the overlap is only marginal

can you run the API as an admin? system access violation is a pc error, it means SMAPI is trying to access files in the system it doesnt have permission to

so instead of playing stardew through steam, you want to open the stardewmoddingapi app . go to steam > manage > browse local files, and scroll until you see this

as far as i know, any portraits can be used with portraiture (just copy the image files in) as long as you set up your folders correctly.

(to explain: I really like some hairstyles I found on naver.blog, but they only give out png files for both, and xnb files for one of them. I know I could replace the xnb files of the actual game for one of them, but I don't want to replace original files.)
they include the png file for merging, is that also for merging with the base game? It only includes a png, and not a JSON file, so I can't just add it to an already existing FS hair mod I have, and all of the hairs are in one png, instead of it being each individual one like in most FS mods I use.

So, I was struggling with having multiple hair mods. I wanted them all. Initially, I tried Get Glam, but it was too buggy to work with many hairs, even after attempting conversions. I wanted so, so many cute styles at once but what I found was many were just either A) outdated xnb files, or B)...
the blog says to use aseprite, but you can really use any program with a graph function, when i convert hairs i use photoshop or clip studio paint

for the files that are meant to replace game files you can make a content patcher content pack that uses EditImage to Target the vanilla asset in game. it's not too difficult and it works usually but can be a problem if the native asset has changed too much

Step 2: Open your now Unzipped folder. What do you see?
Look in your newly unzipped folder. Inside you should see the following:
-A folder inside the folder. Usually named "assets." I will be referring to this folder as the assets folder.
-A content.json file
-A manifest.json file

ONLY one of them includes a xnb file, and both of them include png files, but there is no content or manifest file/folder they aren't built like an actual mod usually is, its just the png of all the hairs on one png- so thats an issue-
granted, I'm bad with this kinda stuff, and have no idea if im overthinking this- or if its actually confusing (probably the former)
at this point Im thinking its just not worth the trouble TuT (not simply for hair anyways)
they both seem to be a modification of the same asset, Characters/Farmer/hairstyles, so making them both usable at the same time is not trivial, but if you can pick one, making a Content Patcher content pack that just overwrites the vanilla styles with it should be simple (unless the modded asset happens to be too outdated)
someone else had this issue recently and it boiled down to a file permissions issue that was resolved by scanning their computer with the System File Checker, just FYI
but if you want to make them new hairstyles i think it's better to do in #making-mods-general

I've visited the github wiki for better chests and the sorting but I'm still a little confused. The auto sorting only works when I specifically choose an item using context tags? Also is there a easier way to categorize chests?
I think it’s telling you some of the mods you have are not loading properly or some of the mods can’t interact well with others or some are missing that you need for it too work i get that too so i shouldn’t be too worry about it if you say everything is working fine but if you do notice something off about the mods in the red text its best to delete them maybe it’s not updated or it just doesn’t work well with others, hope this helps

so sorry for late reply. ive disabled almost everything from better chests main menu (the first one i mean.) i also disabled access chest but for the 'show info': i cannot find it for the life of me. i dont know.. even with everything disabled from the betterchests menu they still overlap, its such an issue for me

The part you have highlighted comes from Chests Anywhere, and that overlap happens even if you uninstall Better Chests.
Better Chests is not responsible for adding the Chest # 2 or Farm dropdown above the chests.

If you're aiming to remove the overlap, yes that's the only way to do it. As far as I'm aware that UI cannot be adjusted or removed.
The vanilla large chest has a bigger UI, and Chests Anywhere's placement is just below the vanilla color picker.

Save Anywhere Redux is rife with bugs, and generally if characters walk through walls something messed with their schedule.... which Save Anywhere is known to do
unfortunately that's not how Stardew saving works beys so unless you're willing to deal with the walk through walls-ness, you'll need to set aside however long it is before you save. A usual vanilla day is about 15 minutes

The presence of the gear it adds to the title screen is not a method for checking whether mods are installed, only whether GMCM is installed.

I would check the downloaded zip - If there's files there, then something went wrong with how you unpacked it (And I think that's probably what happened based on that directory path)
Generally speaking, most mods end up with the long-file name as the zip (Because nexus appends versioning to it), then inside is a simple folder name like "[CP] My Portraits" that you're supposed to toss in the Mods folder

I'm gonna be honest, with that many mods it's gonna be super hard to figure out 😅. Could you disable some batches as a first measure? I usually start with AT and FS and then turn off CP mods that change stuff that really shouldn't impact the mod in question, like event expansions, dialogue tweaks etc
Good old binary elimination - Pick half your mods, cut to another folder, see if problem goes away
But basically yeah, take out a chunk of mods, move them to another folder, see if problem resolves. If not, try with another chunk of mods
Or double check the folder name, make sure there's not a . in front of the folders - I downloaded it from Nexus and it works fine for me on a stripped down modlist
So far nothing. No conflicts or anything. Unless this version i sjust strsaight up broken for me, but even then there arent any known conflictions. I'll try to look into it myself I guess.
Have you double checked the folder structure for the mod? Should be two mods inside the Wild Animals folder (Edit: If it sounds patronizing, apologies, just want to rule out issues like that)

I believe it’s to do with Sword and Sorcery/NEA/COT. It’s just a visual bug. That’s the armour slot.

For the error items, if you’ve removed the mod and your game is still running fine otherwise, you can just delete them safely via trash can, shipping bin or CJB Item Spawner trash can.
But generally it’s a good idea to delete them items first before uninstalling the mod
most of the items come from tehs fishing overhaul so their just fish, i also had to uninstall aquarium
as far as i know those arnet compatible with 1.6
Stardew valley aquarium? Yeah it’s not had a 1.6 update yet. Have you tried trashing/selling the error items?
error items either have to be deleted, sometimes you might be able to sell them :D it's likely that even if fishing overhaul and when aquarium come back, they might still stay error items due to the code routing things differently

Farmer's Children and Growing Valley basically does the same thing. The difference is Farmer's Children would give you the same children no matter what while Growing Valley aims to give you more unique children personality based on your spouse.

Basically Farmer's Children makes your children grow up after a while (default 83 days), so they won't change immediately.
(And naturally, make sure you have all the required mods.)

@wanton salmon my play group is really enjoying your radial menu mod. It’s a great idea that tremendously improves the game ux, awesome job! One suggestion: I find that consumable items (food, totems) are too easy to trigger and would love to be able to configure the default behavior such that stick release switches to the item (tool selection) and bind another button to consume (item activation).

No problem. You also might want to download a newer version of Hover Labels and Non Destructive NPCs, because neither of those are being loaded into your game because they're too old. Same goes for Error Handler, but I don't know what that is and there doesn't seem to be anything named like it on Nexus.
You also appear to have an MFM pack that is just...completely wrong? I don't know, it looks like it's meant to be an example mod pack or something. The one called "(MFM) Name of you pack 1.0.0".
the error handler thing also had me confused because its not in any of my mod folders either

Thanks, I will keep that in mind and consider the feature; you're the second to ask this early on. It's likely because the way I play involves very little gifting, with the only significant machine use being furnaces (ores aren't consumable) and kegs (monocultures). But I'm realizing that more casual playthroughs might want less of the "quick reflex" and more of the "careful decision making".
I don't know if you're using the 0.1.1 I posted earlier today or the 0.1.2 a couple of hours ago; 0.1.2 does let you bind a separate button for always-select, but not in the specific combination you mentioned - atm you can't use trigger release to select, only regular keybindings can select. (I assume by "stick release" you meant "trigger release".)
It might be an old SMAPI thing. If you end up finding it, you can delete it. If not, don't worry too much about it. The mod "(CP) Froststar11's Fairy Spring Farm Cave" is also broken and I imagine you will find it doesn't actually do anything to change your farm cave because SMAPI refuses to let it.
FWIW, I think I came up with a configuration scheme that will make everyone happy.
This way, anyone who's still unhappy with use/consume being the normal behavior (even though an alternate select button is available) can switch the two, so that "Primary Action" is Select and "Secondary Action" is Use/Consume.
It's not actually implemented yet, and won't be 'til tomorrow, so if you feel this still isn't going to work right for you, let me know.

Reset Terrain Features (https://smapi.io/mods/#Reset_Terrain_Features) is a mod that lets you reset, clear, or generate everything that spawns on a map using an in-game menu. That's especially useful when changing maps mid-save, as the debris will otherwise use the old layout (causing things like trees in the water or bushes blocking exits).
I have been having consistent frame drops. The day would start just fine but as the day continued the frame rate would continue to get worse until it is unplayable. This is a recent issue, as probably about a week or two ago I didn't have any frame drops.
The suggested fixes for my log says to update my mods, but my fiancee is playing on the same modpack and mod versions and has had no issues. I have also tried setting high priority, the suggested affinity, and making stardew an exclusion in Windows Defender like the help page said.

I'm not sure if this is a modding problem, but I'm guessing I should ask here first because I always play with mods - let me know if I should move it to normal tech support.
My greenhouse is only planting seasonal seeds. I thought at first it was the mixed seeds-editing mod that was causing it, but I changed to a different one and the same thing's happening, and no one's had any issues with it in the comments.
So I poked around a bit more, and I just loaded up a save with only SMAPI and whatever base mods come with it - console commands and save backup iirc? - and it's happening in there, too. 
I've tried verifying my game files, but that doesn't seem to change anything at all. Really not sure what to do from here, if anyone has any help it'd be super appreciated!

Please reset your game files. This will fix any broken game files, but won't affect your save files or mods.

Yeah, that's verifying the game files, I did that. Also I only used xnb mods a very long time ago on a different OS so I think it's prooobably not that.

Yup!
Messed around with the season in CJB Cheats, and only got summer crops in summer, autumn crops in autumn, and it worked As Expected in winter.

your log still throws a couple of errors, chelsea npc quests requires a quest framework that seems to be broken based on comments im seeing but if it doesnt affect your game its fine, same with yri the architect quests
im not sure which immersive shane youre using but the only one i can find doesnt list cherry's shop tile framework as a requirement at least ON the nexus page so id consider updating that because its throwing an error that you dont have the required framework

I’ll try a fresh install. I like stardrop since it’s easy to check for updates. I honestly hoped that it would do what several mods recommend and delete old files.
When I did update Mizu’s Quails yesterday I noticed the one quail I had in my coop seemed to be broken, I couldn’t interact with it and it wasn’t moving. So I had to sell it for $0. But its replacement seemed to work fine.

It's not a huge issue that the NPCs aren't moving once they enter new areas since I have key to the town and everything.. but it's not normal

nothing springs out as likely to cause this in your log. if you have the time, I'd say do 50/50 batch testing

yes so the mod has some content.json editing for the placement of the rooms you need to make modifications in order for it to work (where you want the room and for what spouse for example) and it seems pretty straight forward but i'm kind of getting lost in all the coding

Hi everyone, I'm having a very specific problem with installing SMAPI on my Android device. My phone is a company phone, with a split between my personal and my work profile. My company has blocked installing apps from unknown sources, but I found a workaround using Shizuku: it uses the wireless debugging option in the developer options to give apps ADB-like access. I can combine this with the split apk installer to install apps from unknown sources.
Anyways, you might see this coming: I can install the SMAPI installer, but I can't use the installer to install the modded version of Stardew Valley as unknown sources is blocked.
I saw on the Github page that there was once a manual install option. Could I still do that?
For some reason, i installed SMAPI, and installed CJB cheats, and it now takes 5 minuts to run, and about 30 second lag for every left click input. Also, when I start a new farm, the game freezes.
Could someone help?
When I talk to Robin to upgrade my house it says that It will cost 0g and 1 piece of hardwood, but when I click "Yes" it says "You don't have enough money."
I'm not sure what to do or which mods could be conflicting

I need help i tried marrying leah and elliot with the polyamorysweet mod but leah room appear but not the designs and then elliot room did not appear at all. I tried redownloading the mod and getting the custom spouse room location mod.

Android SMAPI does not currently work for versions of SDV past 1.5.6.39. We do not know if or when it will be made compatible. It is not possible to downgrade to .39 through legal means so do not ask how to do this.
Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.
theres nothing that jumps out at me in your log immediately, how did you change how much a house upgrade costs?
I'm not sure.. I just upgraded my house one time, the first one and then it started to appear the message of upgrading with 0g and 1 hardwood. I don't remember if I changed it!

Do you think CJB Cheats could do that? I use that mod a lot and I think once I edited the price of one of the buildings but not the farm house itself
the answer to your question is no, you cannot install it manually because there is no android support anymore

cjb cheats SHOULDNT do that unless its something youve edited yourself, especially if the cost of the first upgrade was normal? id try validating your game files first and if that doesnt work its basically a guessing game unfortunately unless somebody else here has an idea from your log DKSJHDJKS youll have to just batch remove mods until something starts working

it was RRRR but it turns out you can || sleep at the Wizard's Tower|| so i was able to unlock it :)

You need to sleep over and the event will play. It’s also a repeatable event!
Alternatively you can warp to the tower at the start of your day. Just use “debug wtc wizard”
So, I'm having an odd problem with Mizu's Quail. I can't use the eggs with the mayo maker. When I use lookup everything on the egg the only artisan recipes are smoked egg and pickled egg. The mayo maker doesn't seem to have a qual mayo recipe.
And if I spawn the mayo into my inventory, it doesn't have any recipes.

There must be something wrong with the producer rules
I believe the problem is with the "Eggs Mayo and Cheese Expansion" mod. It seems to completely wipe the mayo machine rules to overwrite with its own

Yep that mayo and cheese overhaul was the culprit.
I think that I’ll let that mod author know the problem. If any mods add mayo recipes it’ll be a problem
