Hii, i been having issues with Smapi, i dont know if anybody can assist me here with it.. But im new into using modes with stardew, and i watched many tutorials and tried to re install smapi like 3 times and also following the steps to add it as a non existing steam game into my library, and all that. It doesn't have any mod installed and everytime it launches it crashes right away, i cant even get to choose the option to create a new game. I don't know what to do, and i would really like to play it with mods

well this is weird, that is crashing as well, but its really weird because i was playing the normal game before i thought on dealing with mods and it was working fine, but its also crashing after opening it now

Android SMAPI does not currently work for versions of SDV past 1.5.6.39. We do not know if or when it will be made compatible. It is not possible to downgrade to .39 through legal means so do not ask how to do this.
Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.

Sigh. It's okay. The next time you open it, don't click on the board, but in your SMAPI console, could you input:
patch export "Data/SpecialOrders"
It should create a new folder called patch export inside your game folder and should contain the SpecialOrders.json.

Ok, so the best time to get a patch export will be after you wake up on the farm but before you leave the front door. Pause the game right after you wake up, and let's see if we can get SMAPI to slow down enough to let you input the command.
If it comes to it I can just follow Lemur's advice to play through a week and see if the special order changing fixes it, lol.
That's possible, but you'll never know if/when the broken order will appear.

It's not a folder - the folder should be named "patch export" inside your main game folder.

Yeah, your game is throwing a couple of pretty big errors related to Stardust Core and Happy Birthday.
Try disabling those, and delete PyTK. It's obsolete.

The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false
PyTK has been murdered by its own creator at this point.

There are a few errors though. I'd appreciate some feedback

In my limited experience that usually means two things are changing the map and potentially clashing

I'm quite new to modding and I've come across multiple errors with the mods I've tried downloading. I've spent time trying to fix those errors with the panel that comes up when booting up stardew but it just seems to be making it worse. Your mods should be fine. SMAPI has an excellent cleaning-up process (meaning it knows what it's doing, so unless you uninstall, you should be fine)

Try changing the ID to something larger like 535 or something.
The same problem as Bundle Display. Somewhere in the code it calls a null reference, which causes a recursive loop. Disable it and report the error to the mod author.

"XNB" in stardew modding usually refers to mods that go directly into the game's Content folder. they are fragile, very limited, and prone to breaking things. in your case you put them into your Mods folder so they aren't doing anything except making SMAPI tell you in red text that they can't be loaded because they're not SMAPI mods

Another thing is if the mod's install instructions on the page you download it from says to put it into the Content folder. (Don't put things into the Content folder. It's too likely to break stuff, especially since people started switching to making Content Patcher packs instead back when Content Patcher first came out, so the majority of XNB replacers are outdated and will break things.)

I believe something has corrupted your save data. SpaceCore noted an exception "migrating legacy save data" then fails in the GameLoop.SaveLoaded.
Bookcase has been broken for a long time and can cause issues. We don't recommend using Curseforge for SDV mods as they often are not updated.
PyTk is obsolete and can be removed.
Several of the mods you've tried to add are old and outdated (Crop Tooltip, Easier Fishing, ModMenu, Sorted Storages).
Can I ask if you downloaded a modpack or a collection from somewhere?
I have the same mods as my friend has, or at least I downloaded them the same way she did but itβs true I do have more mods than her so idk

Somehow, in some way, you do have mods associated with curseforge - Bookcase is the blaring siren, since it's only available there.
I advise removing Bookcase, as well as PyTK and the other outdated mods I mentioned, and then seeing if your save will load. If it doesn't, then you may have to revert/undo to a previous save.

I went through the Special Orders.json line by line and nothing jumped out as a red flag. I keep coming back to the line in your log about Stardew Progress not being able to "find a recipe for 99." There are a few different assets with this ID - a wallpaper, a log panel, and Dwarf Scroll IV.
I suspect now that there is a broken crafting/cooking recipe for an item chosen in a special order. Since you have such a large mod list, there's no easy way to narrow it down. One way would be to methodically go through your mod list and temporarily disable any mod that does not add any new objects or items to the game, and then once you have that list, conduct a file search in Explorer for files in your Mods folder that contain "99."

Assuming you have the default settings, you only ever choose a new profession. And when you have all of them, you unlock levels 11+.

But you only have a chance of getting a crit. strike.
To get a decent crit build you need to build crit chance and crit power

I've posted this on here, reddit, sdv forum, and mod pages and haven't gotten a response so I'm guessing im SOL but wanted to try again. Whenever I place a DGA-reliant furniture item and my game saves, if I try to pick it up/move it, my game freezes and I have to force quit. Any idea why?

That's such a strange issue that's not showing up on the log itself-nor does it seem to be a crash log, which means it is getting into a non-destructive recursive loop updating things 
Alright, so two things to start with.
!sm or fastloads
SpriteMaster (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4922) is a mod that resamples the game's graphics to be smoother and improves performance. It is highly configurable and you can choose which options to enable.
Two-Entoarox Framework is incredibly outdated and can cause performance issues.
So download one of those two load optimizers and delete Entoarox for starters.
Another thing-
!pytk
The PyTK mod is now obsolete. You can delete it from your mods folder, and all your mods should be safe.
If you get an error saying you're missing PyTK, open the mod(s) manifest.json and change the PyTK dependency from true to false
Pytk can also cause stuttering like this, especially in the presence of Entoarox

Honestly? Probably because it was around back before DGA used for Custom Furniture and also more animals. But it and PyTk both are performance killers, and can cause destructive loops that actually crash the game

Maybe my computer is cooked haha. So I downloaded the recommended mod and got rid of pytk and entoarox. I picked up one of the DGA items and my game froze. But, I have cjb item spawner downloaded and it still let me open the menu. I opened the spawner menu and my character can move again. Repeated it a few times. π€·ββοΈ
! I just figured something out (doesn't really help but is weird). I've been picking up every object using my pickaxe. I just held my dagger and picked items up and it didn't freeze. I placed them again and used my pickaxe and it froze again. I don't have any mods that messes with my tools so that's weird but hey. It's somethin.
someone else was having issues with the pickaxe disappearing and reappearing recently, but only the pickaxe. Weird.

Android SMAPI does not currently work for versions of SDV past 1.5.6.39. We do not know if or when it will be made compatible. It is not possible to downgrade to .39 through legal means so do not ask how to do this.
Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.

Check the mod descriptions and don't worry about depreciated code. Sometimes people don't touch the update keys and it lists them as having updates available that might just be Smapi wondering why the version files don't match-this is entirely harmless unless the mod red texts and says no longer compatible

Also you have Ridgeside village. Did you recently unlock the ||phantom greenhouse|| quest? The map changes at 12 am and can cause this freeze. This isn't a crash, this looks like you just closed the game
The crash happens in my last safe and a new game too, I reinstall everything again, all the mods too
You don't need to reinstall everything, just reinstall smapi
But it's not a crash, and I'm asking about a specific quest that can cause this with how map changes works. It causes the game to freeze a few seconds, several people confuse it for a crash but it's just updating the change

Make sure you don't click anything at all while it's loading. Another thing to ask is if you have a dedicated GPU, how much ram you have, if you set Smapi and Stardew to high priority in the Taskbar, etc

You still have the other map we told you to delete, no transitions might be part of the issues but I'm on mobile and it's hard to read . I really don't think you should be adding more areas, especially with the expansions, ppja and dynamic reflections in your game.

You're not getting on my nerves, I just genuinely cannot help you if you keep adding more and more mods. The steamdeck is a fine machine, it has pretty decent power-but you should probably not be adding over a hundred mods in the course of a week on it, especially if they include all the popular expansions. It makes it difficult to parse these specific issues. Especially since load and lag gets worse as time progresses.

afaik smapi android is broken on latest stardew valley android update, using aurora store i can specify which version to download but not sure which one actually work, can someone help me on this?
also this is not piracy, the app use my own google play store login session to verify that i bought the game and download it from google server (the endpoint is public in their source code), i believe in good faith that this is completely legal (at least about as legal as using depot downloader to get 64-bit SD on windows in the past)

It's just a useless patch which I forgot to remove before releasing. It doesn't do anything, therefore there's no problem from it failing to apply.

As a rule of thumb, if the mod says anything about replacing files in the Content folder, don't download it

In general, you can figure out whether a mod is (most likely) to work with the current version of Stardew Valley based on its update date. This is not a guarantee things will work or not work, but is accurate for most mods.
- 2016: Do not install (meant for incredibly early versions of Stardew)
- 2017: Do not install (meant for pre-multiplayer Stardew)
- 2018: Unlikely to work. If a Content Patcher mod, it might work, but in general it is not likely the mod will work.
- 2019: Content Patcher mods can be tried from here fairly easily. C# mods should still be mostly avoided.
- 2020: Content Patcher mods should work, but may be buggy. C# mods may work, but due to the 1.5 update there may be conflicts.
- 2021+: Should be usable.

Yeah I had a horse farm my last save with like 20 of them lol I only found out about the horses in your barn mod recently which is way more what I want because the makeshift stalls I built for the A&S ones took up so much space

So uhh, if you're really determined, go for it. It's personally not worth the effort imho, and those horses are functionally different.
(AT has to specifically target the BFAV custom animal, even if it's just a variant of an existing one like new ducks.)
I just always loved the idea of a half horse ranch half PPJA cannabis farm..which I basically had my last save but I started a new one with a brand new map & was hoping to be able to go the in-barn route with the horses
This bigger map will let me do the stupid A&S horses again with more room for their makeshift setups so Iβll just stick to that. Might change my mind & download all that in the future though, sounds daunting haha

Stray Catfe or one of these npcs had items that were in stock in Joja and now it's trying to reference it in the shop index and returning null. Usually it doesn't cause this much issue, but PyTk most likely had a hand in the instability of the mods in general

It doesn't seem to be malfunctioning whatsoever from a glance. Check the github and how it affects schedules.
In the meantime, you should probably disable profiler for when we parse logs (It's useful for detecting anomalous load spikes, not so much finding issues in the Loop because of the regular extrapolation of data)

TaT is a framework, it doesn't do anything visible on its own

but yea as it is mod compatibility is a complete crapshoot, i mainly rely on https://android.stardew.rocks/ to see mod compatibility and if its unknown, just download the latest version and pray
i dont expect one can make it to the end game with expansion mod like sve, rsv or east scarp as its likely to fall apart by that point, but content padding mod use well supported framework like cp or ja should work fine

Various Coal Ores doesn't seem to be working properly and the only mention of it in my smapi log that I can see seems to imply it should be

- Same issues as installing xnb mods but it's a mod manager which is nice

Mod support for 1.5 on Android is still experimental, so many mods are broken or buggy. That's often something SMAPI needs to fix, and we may not be able to provide a solution.

MARGO isn't working
I'm using Stardew Valley Expanded with it
I placed the config file it said I had to place, tried to run it again, and it just... had no SVE anymore?
So I put the config file of the original back on

It doesn't seem like there's any problem in the log apart from NPC Map Locations.
What part of MARGO is not working for you?
it's not that margo is not working
it's that SVE isn't working at all after i placed margo in the mods folder and replaced the FTM folder part in SVE

No, you do not need Nexus Premium to download any mods from Nexus - it's only if you want to download something faster, which is generally not necessary for any Stardew Valley mod. If you want to download a mod from Nexus, click "Manual Download" on the files tab and then scroll and click "Slow Download" to download the mod!

Well I figured out the issue, not the solution for either Matthew or Wilford 
Custom Fixed Dialogue looped trying to put out a final string for the dialogue to display. I've used Wilford before so I know his dialogue works, it might be related to Error Handler being out of date?
I did but nothing is coming up on the site. I tried pina or sandy for one recipe that was listed but it didnt show up

looking at PFM's requirement just triggered my addiction to more mods π cause idk which item belongs to what mod so im just downloading blindly

The missing dialogue is honestly nowhere near as concerning as the Plum Forrest NPC pack, Stoffton modifying the same place as Yosef house, visible fish throwing several hundred exceptions and other things. Not to mention the amount of other things that need updates.
(Side note, that's a pretty resource intensive list of mods.)
you don't need them, only if it was bugging you to see that in your log. But good luck finding what you want/need!

usually multiplayer issues are from mismatched mods, but if you're going solo and you're the host, i'm not sure if that would be the case in this situation

I'm looking a little more in depth at your mod list, and you can definitely remove PyTK - it is obsolete and no longer needed.
Downtown Zuzu has lots of bugs right now, but I have heard that the author is working on an update for 1.6.
In the past there have been issues with Cape Stardew and Minecart Patcher, but I don't know if they have been corrected.

But without PyTK the DCBurger portraits didnt work, I have for this one
I see. You can change the DCBurger portrait mods' dependency to false and see if that works. But, PyTK is extraneous to the errors you're getting, so I wouldn't worry about that right now.

99 is a pretty common number, unfortunately. Once the search is done, the next phase is to weed out the results that don't make any sense, like the one you mentioned above. We're specifically looking for something that has a recipe attached to it.

In a separate, new explorer window, you could try searching "99" and "recipe" and see what pops up?
